That might be the main event tonight - there was a "Bray Wyatt type glitch" on the tron after The Factory's six man tag. I wonder if that had anything to do with Cole joining with JJ later.

When the attendances start seriously dropping and they move into smaller venues (that happened 99 onwards to WCW) it will seriously affect the presentation and AEW will slowly begin to die.

I think it's clear at this point, TK's "booking" mostly comes down to the following:
    - random cool matches like Shibata/Cassidy,
    - Moxley as champ/main event guy,
    - Jericho doing whatever he wants and trying to make it center stage even if it isn't supposed to be one,
    - the Elite doing somewhat whatever they want and trying to make it center stage even if it isn't supposed to be one,
    - Danielson staying somewhat aside from being like Jericho and the Elite and just putting guys over and picking his random cool matches/moments which make sense for an overall resume of someone of his caliber,
    - MJF rarely wrestling and mostly hyping himself up and talking about the bidding war of 2024,
    - frequent debuts of ex-WWE/indy talents to mask lack of interesting storylines going on,
    - frequent cameos of NJPW talent to mask lack of interesting storylines going on,
    - creating new titles whenever possible,
    - occasional or select few storylines that have a proper build-up and pay-off (Page/Omega last year for the title was something that had some feeling of finality or pay-off to it),
    - Sting/Darby doing their thing,
    - Britt Baker doing her thing,
    - Jade Cargill looking good and dominating but not moving anywhere up the card or doing anything really,
    - Eddie Kingston trying to be some more vulgar and more unstable but worse in-ring performer AEW version of Mick Foley/Terry Funk,
    - due to the overstacked roster, talented guys like Miro, Brian Cage, etc. always on the bench,
    - a whole lot of solid/good wrestling around all this,
    - no clarity as to who sits where in the hierarchy and where exactly they're headed - no clear differentiation between low-card, mid-card, upper-card, main event - everyone's a player in AEW.
Basically, AEW is still operating like a start-up that's just trying to find its footing and right rhythm, still working out the same bugs, in their third year of existence. And maybe some of the issues grew even bigger as the roster grew, in 2019 when there were less people in the company, the chaotic, unclear nature of the pecking order was less visible.
And the biggest problem is, by this point, TK has gotten everyone used to this chaos, while allowing everyone so much freedom and massaging the ego of so many people for so long, now they're used to being listened to and pushed. So now no one is going to acknowledge they might be overpaid, overpushed, or given way too much freedom, because everyone who got somewhat of a push in the past three years (which is a lot of people) now thinks they're either a shining star or a star just waiting to explode. And it seems almost no one including TK is actually doing the most important thing - putting the effin' company first and structuring the card and stories so the company prospers and grows, instead of everyone just looking at their own prosperity and growth.

Tony Khan destroying kayfabe by announcing that a guy who promised to put people in body bags is getting a promotion to an executive position in the office makes absolutely no sense. It suspends all belief. If the guy is that dangerous he cannot be in that position in the office.
Edit oops I didn't realize corny was going to say the exact same thing LOL

If Tony thought CM Punk’s backstage intentions were hard to contain, he might be twice as vulnerable to the likes of this guy? 😳

Jarrett definitely has just as much of a temper as Punk, but I don't think Jeff Jarrett is going to go on camera and tell the journalists, reporters and EVPs exactly what he thinks of them, if only because he not only saw Punk do that already, but he saw Joe do almost the same thing in TNA. Samoa Joe ended up being right, of course, but it hurt him politically in the short term. And even if Punk is right, it has also hurt him, in the short term. Jarrett will likely be more subtle if push comes to shove.
