Thank you for posting this. I was there that day. I worked in the RAPCON, but managed to get outside to see the Thunderbirds. In fact, I was the ATC rep at the pre-flight meeting for them and got to meet a couple of the pilots. This is so great. I will love showing this to my kids.
Lucky you Sir! Watching this and thinking who was so blessed to be part of this day and enjoy all these legendary airplanes. Nowadays we can only feel some joy from those days only by collecting e.g patches like myself. Awesome clip!
Wonderful footage!! Thanks for sharing this! My first airshow at Ramstein was in 1977, was there also in 1988 when the Italian team Frecce Tricolori collided. Sweet and sad memories of Ramstein....
