Okay…also! Of course furnish and decorate lil man H’s nursery cuz that is SO exciting. But………from my experience MANY years post babies an nursing each one for 18-24months - invest in a co-sleeper or bassinet that attaches or can at least be placed right next to your bed. Creates his own space (no “dangerous” in the bed co-sleeping) yet gives you quick easy access to middle of the night nursing/diaper changes and comforting with very little disturbance. Plus having baby right there is so reassuring to a new momma! Having him right there where you can hear his lil tiny breaths and snores is just so special and comforting 😍🥰. Y’all are gonna be such amazing parents and I cannot wait to have lil man introduced to your TH-cam community 😘
Watching Juj drink the lemonade and then the ice cream, I think you’d LOVE the lemonade with ice cream from Chick fil A. With my son I craved lemonade too and it was SO GOOD! & watermelon as well! The solid bedframe for the guest bedroom would be a good option. You can change the bedding when you prefer other styles. The striped bedframe not as flexible to work with. Can't wait to see the nursery! Exciting time for you two! 💙
You could use just two of the big custom chairs on each end of the table and have a bench on each side or just the side where the white living room chairs are.
If you can drill into the vanity next to the toilet you can put the toilet paper holder on that! I had to do that to avoid drilling into tile and it was very convenient and practical

I'm a vet tech, and you guys are doing it so RIGHT with the raw diet. Don't listen to anyone that says otherwise. Most vets hate it...even the ones I work with say it's bad, however time after time the most healthy dogs I see eat raw diets. Its not hear say I actually see the results. Kibble goes rancid after a few weeks because of the oils in it and it's basically cereal for dogs. Loaded with Carbs...and dogs need protein. Some amazing people on TH-cam with amazing advise for pets are " veterinary secrets." "Rodney Habib" and also "Dr. Karen Becker" is good to!
Yep, raw diet. It’s the most natural. Animals in the wild eat raw so Why feed your animal fake food. Most Dog food is basically crackers. (At least what we’ve learned the past few years)
I started feeding my cat wet food instead of purina one tender selects at the advice of her vet two winters ago. She’s doing amazing she’s lost a bit of weight, and at the time I thought 💭 why wouldn’t I want to give her what she loves the most? I’ve added grain free food for times when she needs a bit extra and she’s stopped throwing up 90% I would say. It’s not exactly a raw diet but it’s way better for her. I’m so glad my Vet encouraged us to switch. Most people think “wet” food is more fattening but I use half packs 2-3oz. It’s amazing 🤩!
@Heyu7her3 when you go grocery shopping, the healthiest items for us are on the outside shelves of the store. Not CHEEZ-ITS. Animals are no different, so for them, the best thing is the closest thing to nature. Dried kibble that they heat up to tempatures so high that takes most of the nutrients out and make into many little kibble balls is not good at all. Since they don't hunt, we basically have to for them. Bagged food that lasts months in a bag makes no sense and just sounds horrible. You know how many preservatives go into kibble?Put down a handful of kibble or a steak, and the dog most likely every time will go for the steak. It's great for their gut health, coat, teeth, and so much more. If you don't want to feed raw, try boiling their whole dinner. Get ground meat, boil it, and add in other ingredients that you have researched to be good for your pet. A lot of pets I see have allergies go on a raw diet or even home cooked, and it instantly clears up. I see this daily. It's amazing. ❤️
Those are wonderful resources you listed above and I have one more to add @drpeterdobias he is another wonderful wealth of information. He always says that no medical doctor would recommend a diet of fast food for their patients so why are vets doing that for dogs aka..kibble. He is a retired vet and I have no affiliation I just love him and his supplements.

Really dig those bar stools Julia!! Beautiful & of course would look great with your existing "chunky" lol! dining chairs. I heard Hunter mention a bench as a possibility for the dining area with the oval or rectangle table - I think that would be a great idea!! a bench on one side would keep the space more open.
I love the stump with the toilet paper on it but I think it should just be one layer and not two if that makes sense. Also you can do a conman strip to hold the toilet paper holder or do the standing ones
I have a bathroom with a similar issue, we put the holder attached to the vanity on the right side of the toilet. Then store extra in the vanity. Another option is to purchase the really strong 3M strips, they are like command strips on steroids. And stick the holder to the tile without drilling! Love this video btw! Hope that helps
They are called Scotch Mount extreme. Some can hold up to 30 lbs! Of course the paper towel holder + roll is only a few lbs or less depending on how heavy the holder is. Again, hope this helps, but I think mounting it in the vanity is the best idea so you don’t walk into the powder room and immediately see toilet paper rolls.
Just kidding should have watched further, the vanity is floating! Maybe find a freestanding that can tuck underneath the vanity and still be accessible. So many comments over toilet paper holders!
First off beautiful home and you guys are so cute.. suggestion…the living room coffee table is beautiful and matches well so maybe no need for new one. If you want the oval table swap the couch and living chairs, or put couch facing tv and chairs on each side of fireplace? the dining chairs are gorgeous and should stay. And bring curtains further up on wall. It will make room taller and make huge difference❤❤❤ just a suggestion. You have gorgeous pieces and moving them around may be worth a shot.
Love the salt tray! Perfect for salting cocktail glasses too. Go for the striped bed! It’s cute and different. I think the stripes could play well off the ship lap and nothing else in the decor is “farmy” so I don’t think it too much.
Hey guys, just a suggestion for your dining area. If you do a custom piece, u could do a piece big enough that u have 2 bar stools on each side so that you’ll get the bar stool affect and the sitting of a table (4) and with it being custom you could remove in the future if someone else would want a dining table instead. Beautiful home! The tile in the bathroom is really nice. They do make self-adhesive toilet paper holders that don't require drilling if you did want something on the wall.
You could also get a double drop leaf table and keep the leaves down with only 2 chairs unless you have company. Some of the drop leaf tables are really beautiful.....when opened they are usually oval.
Maybe switch the couch and the two chairs, to help separate the living space from the dining space and make it look more balanced instead of all the chairs being next to each other!
I feed my German shepherd on a raw meat diet called Answers. He absolutely loves it!! And he has beautiful coat and his poops are so much easier to clean up outside. It was a game changer for sure! My shepherd is literally my fourth child and want nothing but the best for him just as my other 3 kiddos! ❤
for the fireplace-i think go with the bigger one and possibly find/spray paint black screws so they don’t stand out against the black cover. i think that would look really sleek and more discreet.
I know this is old and you've probably already ordered stuff but I loved the more modern side tables you pooped in canva quickly, I think having those make it feel less "farm house" but I think either way if you add other more modern and contemporary pieces it won't feel that way

Barstools that tuck in would be fine since you want to use as a rental in the future. But you guys don't need any advise, since you both have great ideas and taste. The first baths are usually in the kitchen sink. Until they can sit up. Easier on your back and they are extremely slippery when wet lol

For the half bath, the toliet paper would look nice in a small basket on top of the stomp & it will add another texture to play against the tile/wood.
Really dig those bar stools Julia!! Beautiful & of course would look great with your existing "chunky" lol! dining chairs. I heard Hunter mention a bench as a possibility for the dining area with the oval or rectangle table - I think that would be a great idea!! a bench on one side would keep the space more open.

I love the stump with the toilet paper on it but I think it should just be one layer and not two if that makes sense. Also you can do a conman strip to hold the toilet paper holder or do the standing ones

I have a bathroom with a similar issue, we put the holder attached to the vanity on the right side of the toilet. Then store extra in the vanity. Another option is to purchase the really strong 3M strips, they are like command strips on steroids. And stick the holder to the tile without drilling! Love this video btw! Hope that helps
They are called Scotch Mount extreme. Some can hold up to 30 lbs! Of course the paper towel holder + roll is only a few lbs or less depending on how heavy the holder is. Again, hope this helps, but I think mounting it in the vanity is the best idea so you don’t walk into the powder room and immediately see toilet paper rolls.
Just kidding should have watched further, the vanity is floating! Maybe find a freestanding that can tuck underneath the vanity and still be accessible. So many comments over toilet paper holders!
First off beautiful home and you guys are so cute.. suggestion…the living room coffee table is beautiful and matches well so maybe no need for new one. If you want the oval table swap the couch and living chairs, or put couch facing tv and chairs on each side of fireplace? the dining chairs are gorgeous and should stay. And bring curtains further up on wall. It will make room taller and make huge difference❤❤❤ just a suggestion. You have gorgeous pieces and moving them around may be worth a shot.

Go for the striped bed! It’s cute and different. I think the stripes could play well off the ship lap and nothing else in the decor is “farmy” so I don’t think it too much.

Hey guys, just a suggestion for your dining area. If you do a custom piece, u could do a piece big enough that u have 2 bar stools on each side so that you’ll get the bar stool affect and the sitting of a table (4) and with it being custom you could remove in the future if someone else would want a dining table instead. Anyway just a thought, hope it helps! Best of luck!

Beautiful home! The tile in the bathroom is really nice. They do make self-adhesive toilet paper holders that don't require drilling if you did want something on the wall.

You could also get a double drop leaf table and keep the leaves down with only 2 chairs unless you have company. Some of the drop leaf tables are really beautiful.....when opened they are usually oval.
Or maybe get a basket for on top of the “stump” for the paper.
Maybe switch the couch and the two chairs, to help separate the living space from the dining space and make it look more balanced instead of all the chairs being next to each other!
I feed my German shepherd on a raw meat diet called Answers. He absolutely loves it!! And he has beautiful coat and his poops are so much easier to clean up outside. It was a game changer for sure! for the fireplace-i think go with the bigger one and possibly find/spray paint black screws so they don’t stand out against the black cover. i think that would look really sleek and more discreet.

I know this is old and you've probably already ordered stuff but I loved the more modern side tables you pooped in canva quickly, I think having those make it feel less "farm house" but I think either way if you add other more modern and contemporary pieces it won't feel that way

I personally like the way you have to living room furniture, you just need a small table with simple chairs. I also like the small sectional in Julia canva markup. Barstools that tuck in would be fine since you want to use as a rental in the future. But you guys don't need any advise, since you both have great ideas and taste.
