- Our final port of the 10-day cruise - Holyhead Wales
We toured the BEST Medieval Fortress in Europe = Caernarfon Castle with an amazing tour guide however the weather did not make it easy on us.
We visited Wales in late May and had great luck with the weather. Beautiful country.
Yeah, we were told that was not usual for the area. I would love to go back in May-June and spend more time! Thanks for watching.

We loved the whole trip. Scotland we loved so much we're probably going back next year for a week. We kept looking at the scenery in Ireland and Scotland, saying "ooohh, I wanna hike that".
Great set of videos! All of your tours had great guides, but you didn't mention who ran the Caenarfon Castle tour! We are taking a similar trip on Regal nest summer and hope to use the same tour companies.
That was a tour through Princess and we both forgot the guides name. He was fantastic. Enjoy your cruise. It was amazing stuff! We are actually thinking of doing it again, with more ports in Scotland next time. Thanks for watching.
Interesting @@RobinT-treehugger Don't see that one on our cruise but could be too early yet. Or I'm not looking close enough (just booked yesterday). The other tours from Paddywagon, Odyssey and Serca look much cheaper and smaller groups than typical Princess tours.
@@LeeS-c5c Not surprised. It didn't show up on our cruise until almost a month out. Princess is odd that way.

Holyhead is the port town where the ships dock.
Was the drive to the castle scenic? Did you feel you got a "taste" of Wales?
It was a nice drive plus our tour guide was amazing! He had so much information to share on the bus ride as well as at the castle! I wish the weather had been better. Enjoy!
