Kukajin's sword is attainable if you dont kill her. It's one of her rewards for a specific set of bosses to summon her with (and pay vigor). However, I did smash the statue since I didn't really care for the quest.
I’m absolutely shocked there are ppl who are saying this game is anything short of spectacular… it’s like DS1 interlocking levels with DS remake graphics and amazing level design and exploration. The combat to me feels great as well. I think some ppl just want to hate because they were calling early the game would be bad due to their opinions about the 2014 game? Idk it’s easily my GOY so far. The performance issues have been over exaggerated as well. It’s about how Elden Ring was on PS5 at release. Mostly stable just occasional drops in certain areas if you play on performance.
I agree, I keep trying to get my friends to play it, and they never will. I loved it at launch, and the devs have been working hard on this game and I appreciate that, and it's way better now than it was on release, so it's going to be unfairly judged.
Because it's not good, they omit even more information from the player than Dark souls, nearly every weapon feels identical, and early game my bare fists had more DPS than every weapon unupgraded. It's a bad game
I'm dual wielding bloodlust and hallowed praise +7 currently with an agility/inferno build. For spells im using the damage and defense buffs and the big bonk inferno hammer. Really fun and slaps in pvp too.
Just finished the game with a pure radiance/ pietas sword build and it was tons of fun. Even bosses that are resistant to holy damage still take alot of damage. Stats were 55 rad, 35 vit, 25 end
The Sword of skin and Tooth is a really good strength weapon, I haven't beaten the game yet but I think it's worth mentining for all the strength builds.
I think the old mournstead spear is worth a mention for the poke poke poke mains out there. I’ve leveled up both the old mournstead spear and the starting spear ( which scales better with agility) and even with 36 agility, the crappy scaling old mournstead spear does 20 more raw at +5…not sure which one is best mid to late game but for now the old mournstead spear is doing good work. Not to mention that it’s literally the first item you pick up after leaving the hub world.
I hope there are better spears. I don’t want to use the same spear for the whole game. Looking at the wiki though I’m not setting my hopes too high. Although if you haven’t tried dual wielding spears I’m having fun mixing things up that way. It’s surprisingly good.

Looking at the wiki I’m interested in the skinstealer spear. It’s the only one that is S scaling that I’ve seen. I want to see what it looks like leveled up because I leveled up agility and all the spears I have are quality. I want to see what pure agility scaling is like in the game

Really looking forward to getting Bloodlust for my Inferno Build. I just wish that there weren't so few Inferno weapons before that. The Raw Mangler Axes are nice, but they lack the punch other weapons have.
Rusty cutter from the skyrest bridge carried me pretty well (it does scale with infernal and strength) an feels a little stronger than the axe. Plus i love the short sword moveset in this game

what would u recommend for a dual wield build? I can choose between Bloodlust, Pieta Sword, Left and right hand of sword of stillness. Right now i Run Bloodlust + left hand
You what crazy ive seen a lot of youtubers play this game and use the charge ability wrong. If you use a charge attack you can get bonus damage if you time it with the silver circle and insane stagger damage as well.
So enjoying this game night it last night on steam its a breath of fresh air for the souls genre and it plays really well with my pc i get a easy 60fps with 4k all ultra settings from what i read it wasnt gonna run well but liw and behold it runs incredibly well
Anvil is excellent early game even if getting to it is suffering. Low requirements, massive physical damage, and quality scaling so even the dex builds can sometimes pull out a big grug hammer to exploit staggers.
Heal her with radiant magic or the status clearing throwables/consumables/whatever after talking to her. Rest at vestige and grab the catalyst behind her. Go to Skyrest and down toward the double doors, straight ahead from the vestige, and she's to the right. Talk to her. Then summon her during bosses in the future, but after you win, go back to her and manually pay her for the service. Repeat until she disappears, leaving the sword, and her shield and armor as a bonus.

The problem with some of these weapons isn’t finding them, it’s getting the stats and upgrade materials to use them.
Facts !It sucks that Majority of the op weapons needs high agility or inferno which is the lowest stats of my strength radiance build

Interesting thing about bloodlust, kills with magic while bloodlust is equipped in your main hand also activates the heal on kill effect.
Doesn't have to be in your main hand to heal you
perfect off hand for inferno builds

I think halberds have the best move set and range of all the weapon types.

Devotion's Might is my fav weapon. I love pancaking enemies over and ever. I can usually stun lock anything into a stack of pancakes.

Been rocking the Fallen Lords Sword - 30 inferno requirement and has an A- scaling at +7. This thing is a beast
Grinning axe build and nahuta ritual hammer/ iron wayfarer hammer build are fun.
Love your vids, but why only equip the first weapon and not show any of the others? Stats are only half the reason you use a weapon

Agreed. That's why i settled in with a long sword and a shield. They can carry you in times of despair in the game.

Try to release the charge with the sound cue for more damage.
