      Hey Soloist:) Thanks for watching AND for taking the time to jump in on the comments. So I've been playing pretty much nonstop using the built-in CabClone (I own 2 Cab Clone IRs and LOVE THEM) and a bit to my surprise I've been LOVING It. Akin to using different cabinets and EQ'ing to taste, I've been spending a LOT of time playing direct with this amp and like I said LOVING it. Look forward to hearing your thoughts when the second 'demo' video comes out if you get a chance to watch. Thanks again for watching this video and taking the time to share your thoughts:)

      Hey Mike - thanks for watching and taking the time to share your thoughts. Not sure where you're located, but I'm here in sunny California, not far from Boogie and everything, and I mean everything has gone through the roof price wise, another contributor to why so much gear on the market is made overseas. The same people I met when I picked up my Mark IIB from the factory over 40 years ago are still there today. Keeping great employees for that long speaks to the integrity of Randall Smith and his passion for the utmost quality in design and construction. Excellence does not come cheap, and while this amp is not inexpensive, it's not mass produced in some sweat shop overseas by someone who doesn't know a speaker cable from an instrument cable. Quality is always worth paying for in my book, and knowing the care my friends there have for a great experience for the end user, I know there so not about just charging big bucks 'just because'. Manufacturers are leaving the state in droves and Boogies has stayed true to their vision, values and people. You get what you pay for. That's my two cents, and regardless, I appreciate your taking the time to watch and share your thoughts ~ Doug;)

      @@DougDopplerMusic hmm.. I watched some technicians videos on YT that serviced many boogie amps. I have doubts of buying one now. There are several problems with those amps regarding reliability and servicing. Look at psionic audio or Brad's guitar garage channel for details. Amps are in same price range as Bogner or Friedman now, but quality of circuit seems to be worse.

      @@pz1792 Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. I can only speak from my experience. Personally, been super impressed with them all the way around. Thanks again for watching and sharing your thoughts:)

      Hey Steve, thanks for watching and taking the time to share your thoughts. So I live in California, not too far from where the Mesa/Boogie factory is located. Unlike the vast majority of the amps on the market Boogie not only manufactures things in the continental US, but does so in a state that is one of the most expensive to live and operate in. This is one of the finest amps I've EVER played, and you don't get quality by cutting corners. As Maddi pointed out, the JP~2Cs travel everywhere and are reliable and awesome. With zero snarkyness I'll say that you get what you pay for and for the people who opt to buy this amp, they're gonna love everything they get. The design and execution thereof are nothing short of AWESOME:) Thanks for watching, and taking the time to share your thought, both appreciated:)

      @@DougDopplerMusic Yeah, good luck getting a tech to work on it when shit goes down hill. With how good the modulars are now, and how many great amps are on the used market THAT price tag is bad business.

    • @DougDopplerMusic
      @DougDopplerMusic  13 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@Dobis86 Hey, thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts. First off, the only thing I've ever had 'go wrong' with any of my Boogies was tubes. LOTS of road miles and totally dependable, for me. Per the modular rig thing, that adds some additional points of failure and usually the need for a power amp, not a flyable solution like my Mark V 25 which I bring on the plane in a carry on. And thankfully I'm close to Boogie in case I have anything I need addressed, and they are THE place I'd suggest anybody in the States consider going to first. They're a great company with a ton of OG employees who care a lot more than the day workers making many of the amps on the market these days. While I value your input (seriously, always good to see outside of one's bubble IMHO), I don't agree with your take on things. Regardless, I DO appreciate your watching and taking the time to comment. Cheers ~ Doug;)

    It's really sad to see how Mesa prices are sky rocketted in Europe. 6000€for this amp and 1900€for a 4x12, 600€ more than 2 years ago. It's unbelievable and to me unjustifiable. I've ever used Mesa, for almost 20 years, I sold my last one to try another amp and I'l never buy another Mesa again brand new, at these prices is a matter of principle, it's a theft.

    • @DougDopplerMusic

      Hello Hagstrom - thanks for watching and thanks for time to share your thoughts, both appreciated. Over the past two years a few things have happened here in my beloved California, where Boogies are designed and manufactured. Prices for components and shipping thereof have skyrocketed. Getting goods shipped overseas has also become more expensive. I feel you as a musician, but as a reference point, an new iPhones is an obscene amount of money these days, and just about everyone seems to have one. On the box they say designed in California, but aside from that, it's all done abroad. The jobs, the manufacturing and everything has been sent overseas. If that phone were made in California people would probably be saying that same thing you are about the cost. While I value you're taking the time to share your thoughts, I also know that the great people at Boogie who have stood by the same factory and people I've known for decades. They're doing the right thing and while it IS expensive as all get out in Europe, the reasons aren't as black and white as they might seem. That's my two cents. Like I said, thanks for watching and taking the time to share your thoughts - both appreciated:)

      @@DougDopplerMusic Thanks Doug for the reply, I agree with you. And I know you, as a musician too, understand how frustrating can be this situation for guys like me Mesa aficionados, long time users that see those insane prices. I also understand the increasing components and parts costs. This is the situation we have to deal with now. Thanks again, hope this sitution will change soon, allowing us to buy Mesa again. All the best.

      @@pucaccio io li capisco eh, ci mancherebbe. Per 20 anni ho usato Dual rectifier, triple, mark IV, quad, studio preamp, multiwatt e sinceramente di soldi per loro ne ho spesi tanti, non ho guardato ad altri marchi. Ora però credo che certi marchi con la scusa del "E' aumentato tutto" se ne stiano approfittando un pò. Perchè non ci sono intermediari, secondo me la questione Gibson ha influenzato la cosa in un certo modo. Quando si renderanno conto che in Europa il mercato del nuovo sarà un fallimento o avranno in stock un macello di roba, forse cominceranno ad abbassare le pretese. E questo droga anche il mercato dell'usato perchè tanti aumentano i prezzi per strumenti che fino a ieri ti tiravano sopra, non parlo di vintage ma di strumenti che non voleva nessuno. Parlo tipo delle Recto anni 2000 che tutti odiavano e te le vendono come le multiwatt che son nuove ed è anche giustificato (come tutte le nuove uscite.

      Just wait a few years, the secondary market is your friend.
      I got a Mark IV for $900cad, a few years back.
      The more people complain about high prices, the more likely they are to ship their factory to China.
      If you want a cheap amp, get a Joyo Zombie, made in China, great value.
      There are lots of cheap apps out there. I'd rather Mesa keep the quality high, and we keep our eyes peeled for a deal, when the dentist gets bored. 😂😂
