Very helpful guide! As a returning player, it's been a struggle to figure out how I should be building old characters from when I stopped (2.6), it's like a different game entirely now. I returned in 4.6 but I suppose it wasn't in full swing until 5.0 hit. Nearly all guide content I find is geared toward new players with some mentions for veterans, but never anything specifically helpful for a really old account like mine. I've been making do though, just recently like a couple weeks ago got an Aggravate Keqing team going as my first actual dendro reaction based team (since I left before playable dendro was a thing... but thank goodness for the Nahida rerun), though I still need a crit rate troupe circlet for Fischl (who's C4... hopefully that can change soon). It's amazing how much more damage this initial team attempt is doing than what I had on return. Soon I'll be able to stop struggling to get silver in event combat things (and sometimes even failing to get bronze) lol
1.0 four stars like Xiangling, Xingqiu, Fischl, Sucrose and Bennett are all still great and work with old artifacts (like Emblem, Noblesse, VV), so you haven't missed much, especially since you got Nahida. Dendro main character is a solid alternative to her if you need another dendro team.

And if I'm lucky enough to get Alhaitham that'd be great too. Seems like we're in a pretty similar spot! I returned for Natlan and managed to pull Nahida. First team I tried both nahida and fischl together was in my Keqing aggravate team. I just finished building my Kuki as well and let me tell you my Nahida-Kuki-Xingqiu-Fischl team almost rivals my C0 Neuvi team. I find all the little damage ticks you get with it very satisfying as well. And just fyi my Kuki is C0 and she still puts out numbers big enough to 36 star abyss. You could honestly throw a barbara in that team if you don't have a good xingqiu and it'd still work out.

The simple answer is because Genshin doesn't release a whole lot of off-field DPS characters. Most five-star characters are on-field main DPS, and most four-stars are niche support for specific team types.
Fischl doesn’t work well with The first great magic since, 1 she’s not using charge attacks, 2 she’s the only electro character so she doesn’t gain gimmick stacks, 3 the movement speed increase from the theatric stacks are useless on her since she’s off field, other than it being a Crit damage stat stick, just use r5 stringless
Maybe I missed it, but another big upside of Fischl is that she is an excellent electro battery. (Especially her pairing with Beidou, making Beidous build so much easier.)

Right now I'm the running her in an overload team at c6 with c6 hu tao, c6 kuki shinobu and c0 chevyruess. I have a r5 stringless but I'm currently using her signature weapon.
She's got a lot of good off field use that ages like fine wine. I mean people keep talking about pyro archon replacing xialing for example at the moment

But having Mavuika would surely give my Kinnich a more interesting team comp. I really want to try overburn team with Kinnich and it doesn't work well without Xiangling. And even with Xiangling, her pyronado just can't keep up consistently every time I do NA. I keep on seeing things like if you really don't want another pyro on-field DPS then Mavuika isn't worth it and I do have a lot. I am more interested on getting another pyro off fielder since my Xiangling will forever be stuck on National teams lol (or on my burning vape comps).

Restarted Genshin recently, and i had Fischl on my main team on my old acc too and i've been using her a lot on a nahida team this time around. Even at c0 and now c1 she does major damage and i'm happy that i've somehow pulled the stringless thrice without touching the weapon banner. Hoping to get her cons from the current banner, because i miss her c6 a lot
No fischl with 80 pulls .....but got tighnari @ 5 pity, was guaranteed nuevellete which I got with 40 pulls, still didn't get a single fischl with the remaining 30 pulls
Fischl’s personality might be all princess, this and that. But, she is one of the most broken characters ngl.😊 And I only had to wish 40 pulls for C6..😅
Guys I pulled 40 pulls in total got Nivulette,Heizou and yaoyao on the first 10 then on the second 10 pull I got a favonius bow on the 3rd 10 pull I got fischl and on the last one I got mona and fischl c1

For once Furina is replaceable but not him.Even Mavuika couldn't dethrone him. She powercreeped Arle and Xiangling altogether but not Bennett . Instead she needs him in her best teams

i had like 60 pity but i wanted fischl c6 i had c2 i wished now and i didnt want neuvi(saving for mavuika) but i thought i had no choice i won my 50 50 and got neuvi then was wishing for fischl i didnt get fischl but i got another neuvi while i was skippping animations😭😭😭😭😂😂at 30 40 pity and the next 10 pull i got 3 fischls and 1 sethos c 5 now now ill wait for c6 fischl in the shop ( this was a reminder of my kinich pulls when i got c0 at 30 and c1 at 50 and weapon at 10 pity (weapon 50 50 lost)
I'm having a hard time to like fischl i regret investing into her the dmg is not impressive even with a decent build, E duration feels awfully short, cons are almost required to make her look good, needs hyper investment to pop off. I barely have any use for her since i always have a better unit to replace her. She's horrendous in hyper bloom teams (yes i tried her in plenty of other teams not just HB just pointing out it's bad). Yall treating her like she's a must build unit when she's rlly not.👏👏
I find Yae superior in all teams aside from the fact I need slots for the theater. The better range and smooth gameplay works so much better for the characters I play. And she got a bigger buff through the reaction buffs since she has EM scalings.
One big change. Fischl DOES NOT need much ER. Infact she never runs ER sands. 140-150 ER is PERFECTLY FINE even in Solo teams. Because she herself is an insane battery.

I heard that Mavuika's off-field can't compare to Xiangling and it is more like a better Dehya. I don't know how true is that tho

Aqua and hunter's have the same crit value, but aqua provides an extra 20% dmg buff. Why would hunter's be above it?

No. I've been unlucky and have C0 Fischl for the longest time now and she is a monster. Her A4 passive is really all you need.
She have a long CD on her skill
