These videos all ignore the science. There are many dozens of papers showing that microwaves work by agonizing l-type voltage gated calcium channels, which then stimulate the production of inflammatory cytokines. There is clear evidence of oxidative stress, which is reduced by known antioxidants. There are separate papers showing that microwaves break down the blood brain barrier, causing leakage of toxins and neurological damage.
For some reason, Dr Gregor departs completely from the scientific method when he covers this field.

    • @CasperCG
      @CasperCG 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

@Dinar exactly. Why didn't Greger show this peer-reviewed paper for example. "In healthy participants and compared with no exposure, 50-minute cell phone exposure was associated with increased brain glucose metabolism in the region closest to the antenna."
      www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3184892/
      Or here's another interesting one:
"...our analysis demonstrates that low-intensity RFR is an expressive oxidative agent for living cells with a high pathogenic potential and that the oxidative stress induced by RFR exposure should be recognized as one of the primary mechanisms of the biological activity of this kind of radiation."

How can one care so much about the food that humans ingest and downplay the effects of radiation that we are all swimming in? We are electromagnetic beings after all!!

Perhaps he lacks an understanding of voltage-gated ion channels - he wouldn't have covered this properly in an M.D. course. Or maybe he has been "warned" not to go too close to the science in this area.

In Russia, everyone talks about the dangers of Wi-Fi, we have a good researcher "Tyunyaev" (last name), which shows that it is impossible to measure EVERYTHING with one instrument. waves of different frequencies from other devices create a common "mess", and he used very expensive instruments from the laboratory to show that the space of an ordinary house, where there is Wi-Fi, a TV set, and a PC, is a potentially dangerous area for a person, for a human cell.

More than 28 thousand studies have been done on this subject and yes they all point to that type of radiation being harmful. Anyone who says differently doesn't know enough or knows but wants people to suffer. It really is that simple. Then there's the fact that the telecommunications industry(which is absolutely massive) uses this same type of radiation. The last thing they'd ever want is all these studies becoming common public knowledge. They could lose billions if not trillions.

Compromise solution: get a WiFi router that you can set to automatically shut off the WiFi RF during sleeping hours as well as reduce permanently the output to RF antenna in the settings to the minimum required to achieve the speeds you need (frequently only 50% of the standard default power setting and maybe even 25% for some smaller places). I have done this literally decades at this point. Third party software may be required for some models. Just be advised that your neighbors still have all of their WiFi on all the time at full power....

But today… there are towers, wifi, cell phones EVERYWHERE. There are so so many. How can we even control the waves when there are thousands of them coming from every direction. How can we control the vibration in our system. Like how a microwave cooks your food. And eye damage to screen lights and UV flashes for face scanning. The harmful side comes from the rate of exposure.

If it's a health standpoint I might as well say, children with parental control have better health because Wi-Fi and instant access to NutritionFacts.org are a GOOD thing. Wi-Fi is a delivery system, it delivers both good and bad things. It is very subjective and hard to make any reasonable claims about health, other than the objective radiation that this delivery system radiates. And yet, after decades of attempts to show any kind of correlation between porn consumption and "violence against women" (nobody cares about violence against men, obviously) they have come up with nothing. If there was a causal link then sexual harassment should have gone up as access increased through the internet and guess what? It hasn't, instead the stats are going down. Funny how this works: videogames does not make kids violent, porn does not turn kids into rapists and come to think of it, jazz music did not turn a generation into animals either.

  • @kamilk

I do like the normally very factual Dr. Greger analysis, but this time it was far from the merit. It's a kind of mental gymnastic (or mental equilibristic) effort that I'm always amused by (from wifi to p0rn in no time ;) ).
First he didn't take into consideration such variables as exposure duration, distance from both access-points and built-in WiFi cards in electronics, not mentioning transmission power of these interfaces which (depending on the manufacturer, technology used and device state) can frequently exceed safety standards when overriden, faulty or misused.
And no, I'm not a tinfoil hat wearer. I use this technology quite a lot, but knowing how does it work, from the physical layer to data transmission protocol nuances, makes all the difference when it comes to spending time with wifi and designing the wireless network infrastrucutre.
Ridiculing or oversimplifying aspects of the wireless data transmission does not solve risk issues.
Blaming it on the p0rn is... well, quite an abuse :/
And btw, accusing tinfoil hat wearers of being p0rn addicts is at least awkward.

A bit misleading title but in general it's a big issue that parents seems to not be aware of and trust schools to much. How many of you parents had a good look into sexual education that starts in grade 5? I don't believe that in that age our children have to start experimenting sexualy and basically those lessons encourage them to do. That's not normal!!!!! Then you have almost all school expecting children to have iPad so even if you against mobile phones they will have access to porn.
