Just found this video on TH-cam and was thinking the whole time. I would pay for the tracklist, and literally, you have a patreon. Happy to kick you down at least a month. For membership, maybe more. Thanks for this. This was so good. Appreciate you not gatekeeping either.Because technically this post was free.
ayyee! pm me ill send you my new version. I heard it done first at a t-pain concert and i knew it was the sample from it so i saw it coming haha love being a dj. But came home from that being like i gotta make an edit
This just goes to show song choice is king! You took it from business hours with the lights on and audience disconnected to an afterhours college party with the entire crowd locked in. Good stuff! Gotta love playing 2010's hits too. Not sure how much of the set was planned versus off the cuff but it flowed in the best way.
@@BrianDiener yeah it's crazy just how fast this place transforms. Literally all of this set believe it or not was just me on the fly. I am the worst at prepping. I have a bunch of crates for eras, genres and situations (like open, prime and close) but I just look real quick and load or think of something off memory. While I'm mixing since I am mixing pretty damn fast (a song a minute), I am loading up the prepare folder with stuff as I think of it. I'm usually thinking a few songs ahead where I want to go with things. On top of that after I play at a nightlife spot I'll take the history and throw it into a subcrate under a crate for the venue. I also have a subcrate for like stuff I think will work or I wanna try etc
As a dj myself, you killed that set, sure some transition were ehh but no one really noticed because of your song choices and the insane environment YOU created. 👏🏽👏🏽 to you man. I wish I was there brotha. Sick ass set. Also I’d like to purchase some of your music😂 you have good taste in remixes.
@@luisb2842 yeah I agree I am more prioritizing mixing fast and song choises and slam mixing on alot of the trap stuff. Check out the link in the description alot of the remixes I use you can find on clubkillers dms and DMP. I also get a lot from SoundCloud
i think you are a good dj one tip is let the music play not mcing every drop you can have way better crowed continue to dance if dropping a track makes it easyer then using the mic i would keep practicing at home cross fader any way good job
I used my electro voice, etx 15p 3 times, sent them back because they kept clipping at low volume ....they sent me two new ones, never took them out the box ... I switched over to bassboss

@@Brink33 thought it was great , wish I had better camera angles to show the crowd more. Party bars are kinda harder for the crowd bc there was no room really to move and a lot of it is them drinking and bouncing vs dancing. I feel like I connect with this age group well bc I am in my 20s still so it's an easy mix
@@djnvision got it! Great set man, and lots of respect for logging and the transparency you providing. Also people might hate on the mic work but I got mad respect for it since I am sure it does also drives you out of your comfort zone a lot.
@@djrydak Yeah the mic work thing is very much a thing up in the north east. Boston/NYC club DJs primarily. I started last year abouts pushing to much more quick mixing with mic work and slam mixing.

I wish I was there! What a great gig log you freakin killed it. What speakers were you running there?
2 ETX 12Ps and a Maui 44G2 Sub. They had a pair of ZLX 15s I couldve used but i was like nahhh
Sick job bro , one piece of advice slow down some of your transitions for a cleaner sound other then that you killed it !
Yeah some times i forget to make sure they are in the same bpm when slam mixing fast.
for a white boy you got some flavor bro lol fire set 💯
