The strange thing is that the flawed gameplay actually makes some poor maps play quite well. I actually often enjoy Punta Mar, Strike and Himmelmatt because of the inconsistencies the game has in time to kill. People can't just camp amd hit you with long shots, because sometimes these shots won't bring you down and there are loads of flank routes. Some of the better designed maps play poorly though, for the same reason. Al Bagra being the best example of this.
Some of these top picks absolutely clears the bo6 beta offering. People are waaay to swayed, and harsh towards IW map designs. They are very hit and miss but some of them are stellar in todays modern standard
Thank you! I only prefer doing tier lists when it's ranking A LOT of something, but when it's not too many items, I much prefer just straight ranking them
I'm glad you really liked Himmelmatt Expo! I think it's my favorite along side farm 18 in mwii. Sucks it got so much hate before it released due to the dom flag locations
I quite like Himmelmatt too. I remember watching a video by Gilmour (when the map was released) and he hated it, but I played it and thought it was fairly decent!
The reason Black Gold comes up so much is because everyone leaves when it comes up so the matchmaker is constantly trying to fill Black Gold lobbies. Sad side effect of no map voting and lobby disbanding.
Maybe we should use it to reverse boost 😂 No one enjoys this map, but we have to find a way to get it bumped out of the running order. Let's see more Mercado.
I disagree with El Asilo being one sided. The stronger side you're talking about has a strong spawn camping position with the ledge they have to deal with so it balances it out
I wouldn't go that far, but I'm not a fan either. It's too big, has several massive long lines of sight, and has that awful maze section indoors (bunny hopping central).
@@johnmorris1009 funny being 10 months later… I don’t mind Farm 18 now lol. I’d rather a map have the option to snipe or use a long range rifle than be too small. But it’s still not a favorited/liked map for me
al bagra fortress is the worst control map ever ( obviously a CDL thing but still horrible horrible map... LOL ) I actually do enjoy it for HP, Its also really bad for snd its literally one bombsite warfare

I think it has less truly bad maps than 2019. There are perhaps 3 or 4 awful maps in this game, but half of the maps in 2019 were awful.
