First time I heard this song wax after a team of multi-colored spandex-wearing superheroes helped saved a city from a giant mechanical purple guy made of ooze.

I recognize El Centro when I see it. I just left there actually (with the T-45's out of NAS Kingsville). This is a great update to the original video. Boss Bartlett put together one the finest Blue Angel teams so far. I'm old school, so I prefer the F-4's, but the F-18's look pretty good up there.

If the video gives you goosebumps then go see them in person at an Air Show it will blow your mind, especially the 700 mph sneak pass. Been to several shows and it never gets old. Will see them in March near New Orleans.

I was late to watch them cuz i got a flat tire, i was beside lake ontario and i still got to see the show, they scared the crap out of me as they flew over my head in a magnificent streak of power..... I am canadian but moved to South América last year to enjoy the beautiful weather the rest of my life, but my wife and i have ties in USA and canada so we willl always visit... My wife wants to see the Blue Angels and the Snowbirds.... We saw the blue Angel movie last night... Its great... ❤❤❤

You might want to check out a genre of music called Synthwave. It's music that's very much done in this style. TheMidnight is one of the more popular bands in that genre.

I had the pleasure of living at the end of their runway in Pensacola, FL for about 5 years. It never got old watching them flying upside down and trimming my trees. I will always be a Blue Angels fan!

I come from a Navy family, so every time I see this video my heart swells with pride and patriotism. We live near a major airbase, and the Blue Angels were here recently for an airshow. We stood in the park for a couple of days leading up to the show and watched them practice. I swear they were so low over our house I could see the rivets on the bottom of the wings. Their show was amazing!

Absolutely Love this, mainly because of the Blue Angels! My Dad was a "Blue" in the late 50's & 60's, he was with the engine maintenance of the planes. Best Time of his Life!!

I am an Annapolis native. Tomorrow is The Blue Angels annual air show over The Severn River for Naval Academy Commencement Week. I looked up today and saw The Blue Angels practicing. It was so cool.
Beautiful! Van Halen's 5150 was one of the best albums ever created. Every song is a banger on that album.

Ever since I was a kid the Blue Angels have always been my favorite scene of any air show!!!! I got to meet two of the pilots at the Rickenbaker airshow last year!!! They are my heroes!!!!!!!❤

I used to be a Marine Engineer on the NOAA Ship Whiting in the late 80's/90's. We came into Pensacola every other weekend on Thursday afternoons. The Angels practiced then. I can't tell you how many times I saw them practicing as I was coming into port. It was a very very good memory.

When I was a very young boy my Dad placed me on the shoulders of a Blue Angels Pilot's shoulders and he lifted me into the jets seat. I'll never forget that. Dad just passed away and Mom will pass tonight after suffering for death by natural causes. Very sad to say the least but this video is uplifting...

I love our own RAAF Roulettes, The RAF Red Arrows, The USAF Thunderbirds and my Favourites without upsetting the Guys and Girls above who are legends as well of their Precision Display Teams and of course the Blue Angels are right at the Top of my list.
I have seen them perform whilst on holidays once and what a sight they are from the Very Start. The Starting Narration and the fantastic walk to the aircraft and the Precision of the start up to taxi and take off and then the Brilliance of Their Display sends shivers down your spine.

The F18 Hornets are also such an Awesome Aircraft and their is something about them.
Is it because their Naval Aviators at the Pinnacle of a Flying Career thats truly the best of both Worlds being at Sea at some Stage obviously and in the Air and knowing that these Guys and Girls would be catapulted off an Aircraft Carrier and thren land back on that Vessel takes a Unique Set Of Skills and it shows in what they do.

Been to about 3 of their airshows within the past year, I know a BUTT TON about them, definetly deserve the respect they get. I'm also VERY happy that people from other countries get to enjoy our demostration of the F-18. Also, its the Superhornet instead of Hornet. They changed it back in 2020.

I remember this video from back then. My father's cousin, Dennis Wisely, was Commander of the Blue Angels 1980-81. I saw them perform in Lakehurst, NJ in 1981 when I was a kid.
I researched this and it is one of the hardest top three jobs on the planet to get. You literally have to be number one top of your class in everything since elementary school. And number one in several Aviation schools including Elite Aviation schools you have to be the top in. Even to be considered

A few years ago my daughter, grandson and I saw them in Biloxi MS and the owner of a yacht pier lets us walk out to the end of the pier to watch them on the Friday practice and some of the low passes were so close as they were approaching for low beach pass I could have thrown a rock and hit them. Needless to say they wouldn't let us on the pier on the day of the main show. Safety LOL.

My late uncle retired USAF MAJOR never forget 45yrs when home from flight school THE NAVY/MARINE pilots were nuts landing on a moving aircraft carrier...but added the best pilots he flew with
