Sad to say but if ownership doesn't change, he will be gone just like Machado, Mancini, and others at or near new contract time. The current ownership will not even get close to paying the elite players market value. The Orioles could be a real dynasty if the owner would loosen the purse strings.

Adley got to live that Hollywood moment where he looks out at the crowd around him. That's a moment we all wish we had growing up.
I never ever would have thought I would follow some east coast MLB team, but Adley was born and raised the next town over from me and I am totally on the O's bandwagon. This is going to be so much fun. Someone needs to ask him about his legendary grandfather.

I lived in McMinneville when his grandfather coached at Linfield College. Very well respected man and family.
It's been just over a year since Rutschman was called up and holy cow has this guy been awesome. The impact he has on this team is something that we haven't seen out of a single Orioles player since Cal Ripken was called up in 1981. Cal's presence transformed that team from a team on the brink of a title to finally being able to break through. Adley in this case has elevated the O's from baseball doormat to playoff contender. And it's shown especially in the pitching staff. The O's rotation has gone from giving up the most homers in a season in 2019 to 4 years later being respectful. And this is without John Means, as well as Grayson Rodriguez adjusting to big-league hitting. Once Jackson Holiday is called up next year this will be a fleshed-out machine that will be dominating everyone.
the rotation gave up less home runs because they greatly increased the distance of the left field fence! The pitching staff still sucks
@@jonathanwright4160 That's part of the equation. But Rutschman's presence behind the plate is also a factor. Although this year they've given up fewer homers on the road somehow. The back of the bullpen is excellent, but the rotation and front of the pen do need work. And thank goodness we still have more top prospects coming.

We had a Dinosaur bbq in Harbor East for a while. Guess it didn’t get enough business for the super high rent. It was a huge place.
