His voice really is perfect for R&B and neo-soul (I think he has that accent because those are his favorite genres to sing). I LOVE how the entire song parallels the journey that's being described in the lyrics-- the verses are calm (quiet, uneventful days at sea) and the chorus is more turbulent because that's when the waves of the sea are stormier. The storm strikes during the triple rap, and the blurry sounding part after the rap is the ship emerging from the storm, having barely survived. But at the end, the ship and EXO have finally arrived at their destination, with their Black Pearl waiting for them.
