Thanks for the photos. This is clearly the best meet-up the VC has ever seen. I only had four drinks over the two days, but that is my monthly allotment, so I'll have to cut back in Italy 🙂 I did make it to the pool again today, so that is something to celebrate!
Great retrospective of your meet-up. Loved the intro and the scattered video clips. This has confirmed my suspicion that an overwhelming portion of the vinyl community are not only of above average intelligence, but also gifted with a great sense of humor. I'm not sure I would have recognized FVA in the wild. I'm so used to him in his studio. In my hometown, during the 70s and 80s, there was a notorious strip bar known as Horseshoe Tavern. I went in there twice and both experiences were wild. Anyway, that's another topic. Great video, Brian!

The VC has turned out to be a very unique place. It is strange that you can feel a friendship connection just by watching videos, but it happens. I recommend meet-ups for all 🙂

Four legends right there. I’ve met a few people from the VC & it is quite surreal..especially as I find we start chatting away like we’ve known each other for years. Lovely that Ben flew 9000 miles for an AC/DC record. Fantastic that you start doing VC videos..& end up making mates for life. That fire alarm was probably to extinguish Ben’s shirt.
Ben's shirt did not disappoint. Your name came up a few times in conversation. It was all good! (Generally, it was something like how brilliant your sense of humour is). That's right, we sat around talking about VC personalities 🙂

We only scratched the surface. I think there are 45 to 50 record dotes in Toronto, plus a couple of online shops. A person could spend a lot of money here 🙂 Next time!

is Sonic Boom related to the stores in Seattle? I like that Beck album. Picked it up prob 10 yrs ago when Virgin was closing all their stores. That was kinda last REM album I was excited about. Side note: I tried to eat at that restaurant when I was in Athens few years ago but they were closed. I have both of those Midnight Oil as well. Pretty good. I kinda went on Midnight Oil spree after saw them live in 2017. Anyway cool stuff dude. Fun meeting up with other collectors.

Very cool. In that area, Kops and Sonic Boom are great, of course. I'd also suggest Cosmos and Neurotica as well as Rotate This and Pandemonium, but the latter two are farther west. Midnight oil were fantastic at the 2000 Olympics as a support act to Men at Work who in turn supported the ultimate Australian headliner Slim Dusty (and Kylies arse). £17 for a Fall 7"!! That story will never wash going through customs, blatant money laundering!

And also the segment on them being inducted into the Songwriters Hall Of Fame where they play 'Losing My Religion'! ... Great photos of your VC meet up.

Excellent video I was just in Kops in Oshawa and raided the reggae 12 inch bins. I’m staying at the Sheraton on Queen for a work thing in August across from Nathan Phillips Square and want to hit up all of these shops, plus any other shops that you can recommend?
Very cool. In that area, Kops and Sonic Boom are great, of course. I'd also suggest Cosmos and Neurotica as well as Rotate This and Pandemonium, but the latter two are farther west. Midnight oil were fantastic at the 2000 Olympics as a support act to Men at Work who in turn supported the ultimate Australian headliner Slim Dusty (and Kylies arse). £17 for a Fall 7"!! That story will never wash going through customs, blatant money laundering!
Gee, I must have missed that Olympics performance! I hope I am not an accomplice on the money laundering front, because I made no money on the deal. I must be doing something wrong 😑
