Debora has been trying to post this comment but hasnt had any luck so she emailed it to me and here it is: "Hello team/gang/ community of Lisa Eldridge devotees! I am so pleased to have joined you all. I am afraid to admit I am still more comfortable talking on a telephone than chatting globally with my cyberpals but my 15 year old helped me figure out how to do this. Thank you for your warm comments. I am trying to find a way to print your commentaries up and make wallpaper to cheer me up when those mood swings get too steep. And thanks for all your suggestions: I have gone out to buy fish oil and serenity cream, primrose oil and now have a 15x mirror. I DID have a 5x one but could not see a thing. As to skin care, if you want to know the truth, I tend to use cheap Vaseline (or whatever is on sale). I put it on most nights as I lie in a bath looking at the ceiling trying to remember what I forgot to do that day. My grandmother used Crisco Lard, a type of cooking fat (this was in the 30’s ,40’s and 50’s). Every once and a while I splash out on a treat from Chanel or something I see Lisa recommend. And thanks for the comments about being too young: I am 56 and have been running on this cheap hormone-depressed petrol for 2 years now. I love that Lisa is helping us look great at all ages. Now if only she could do something about my missing waist and back cleavage!!! "
Using vaseline/crisco/lard actually has a bit of a truth to it, in that it keeps moisture in the skin. That and sunscreen which Lisa & Debora were talking about in the video. Thank you, Lisa & Debora!
Thank you Lisa Eldridge! Finally, a professional make up artist addressing make up for 50+ skin. We need much more help than young ladies who have young, plump, elastic, forgiving skin. More of these please.
This lady is amazing, she handles her menopause so well, with sense of humour and class. I was absolutely in love with her personality and the look was amazingly beautiful, natural... gorgeous!!!! You can be beautiful at any age. Attitude counts too! ! Love your job, Lisa!
Debora is the most stunning menopausal woman I have ever seen. All of us women have this to come, glad to hear Debora share her experiences with a touch of humour!
I reached menopause early on, just as I turned 40 (I recently turned 45). I've been using sunscreen religiously since I was 18. There are many things that I just recently began doing like acupressure, oil cleansing method, I naturally have oily skin, but it has normalized somewhat since using OCM. I have gravitated more to the use of BB creams than foundations, as they seem too thick for me now. I am even transitioning in my quest to let my hair grow white, lol. I've had white hair since adolescence, and have been dye-free for almost ten months now. I accepted the aging process with grace, as I've always been young at heart. It was a blessing to see this video, and I hope others find it as helpful as I have.

This is a fantastic video! Thanks to Deborah for her humorous insights into menopause (she sounds just like me with the eyesight etc)!! She's a gorgeous woman and you showed just the right makeup and many of the same ones I've found to be the best for "mature" skin, as well as some new things I'm going to have to try! Thank you. xo ~angie
Lisa, you have no idea just how much I needed this tutorial! I'm 36, & have been in menopause for 2 years. I had a hysterectomy, which of course sent me into menopause immediately. It has been very difficult to adapt to. I have hot flashes ALL day long. I live in state that reaches 100+ degrees in the summer. So, makeup has been a real challenge. Sometimes I sweat so badly that by the end of the day, my eyebrows are down by my eyelids! My brows are so thin & sparse, that I have to fill them in, or I look sickly. I relate to Deborah, & very much appreciate her willingness & courage to discuss her experiences & challenges with menopause. And, I also appreciate that you gave such great tips & took the time to make this tutorial for those of us that are in Deborah's same situation. Sending light & love your way.🌹
+candice bergstrom I'm so glad I saw your reply to this, I didn't go through a hysterectomy but menopause hit me way earlier than expected. When we tried to get pregnant years ago they said I would menopause early and my mom menopaused at 45 so I thought that would be my deal. I have been going through menopause for going on 4 years now and I'm turning 43 next month. I started at 39 and I have been taking bioidentical hormones since then. The problem with me is that they work for a few months, I have no hot flashes( and I get them all day every day between 40 min.-1 hr. apart), no depression, no mood swings( rage) and I sleep through the whole night, which I can't remember what that feels like. When they stop working each time my hot flashes get progressively worse. I used to just get hot behind the neck, face and chest, than they moved all the way south and now....I'm sweating with each one. I think my biggest thing is that I'm not sleeping so I have bags and blue/purple under my eyes worse than I ever have and can't seem to find a concealer to cover them right( I have a whole drawer full, lol) and my eyebrows aren't growing back no matter what I use on them to get them to grow back. I just had a huge boohoofest last night with my hubby about not feeling sexy anymore even though I'm working out and my body is looking better, the fact that everything else on me feels old doesn't help. He's so patient with me with everything but he says he hates that I waste so much time that we could be spending together, putting makeup on. My makeup is very natural but, like you, I have to draw my eyebrows in or just fill them empty spots up and that takes time because sometimes they cooperate( my MUA friend says they are sisters not twins, well sometimes mine look like distant cousins or not related at all, lol) and other times they don't. I'm trying so hard to hide the blue/purple under my eyes that it takes me forever. I tried to explain that I'm not 20 something with flawless skin and a full nights sleep, it takes more to cover up the uneven skin tone and etc... Anyway, after last night it was nice to read your comment and realize I'm not alone. Debora is lucky in that she doesn't have the deep dark circles under her eyes. I found a new foundation last week after 3 weeks of searching and it's from Exuviance skincare and I found it at ULTA. It's called Exuviance Cover Blend Skincare Foundation. I find that even throught the hot flashes and heat of Texas that it stays on. I don't even need to set it with a setting powder which is really nice. It's not as glowy as what I used to use but it's not completely matte either. If you have an ULTA near you go try it and see what you think. I also found a beautiful blush that just glides on with it and isn't dry and powdery looking. The blush is from BECCA cosmetics and it's called a beach tint, the one I got was Watermelon/Moonstone, it has the highlighter mixed in just a little. I...love..it...I use my small dual fiber MAC brush to apply it. Anyway, I'm writing a book. If you can go try those 2 things out and see what you think.
A couple of my own suggestions for some issues she mentioned! I wear a silk (real silk, not synthetic) bonnet to sleep in to prevent my hair from breaking as she mentioned. I pair it with a silk sleep mask, and I find this has the added benefit of preserving my eyelashes from breaking against the pillowcase, and keeping my eye cream and eyelash serum from being rubbed off. I’m sure it helps prevent some of the wear and tear that leads to crows feet also. It certainly helps with the sleeplessness issue by blacking out the light, and that’s a huge help during this time!
I am 55 years old, I think the biggest challenge of aging is learning to adjust our makeup and keeping our figures.. ...as Debora mentions, seeing becomes a big problem...I also think keeping our skin in the best shape possible helps, without the FIRM canvas...it at least, has to be in good shape....Love the tube story....never get on the wrong side of a woman going through menopause...LOL..Wonderful video...I am always looking for ways to educate women about skin and CHANGING our makeup techniques and products....Thanks for featuring a woman of age, her skin is beautiful! ( oh and lip wrinkles, don't get me started on them)...BISOUS!!
My mother doesn't wear make-up and won't let me give her a make over. Must show her this video, the end result was beautiful!! Always love your videos. :)) xx Gillian
I just wanted to thank both Lisa and Debora for this video. She looks stunning and how her resting face has a such a lovely smile to it is just so beautiful. My mother has already moved past menopause but I see her not being happy as she looks into the mirror and it is rather heart breaking when everybody else thinks she's just gorgeous and she cannot see it the way we can. I hope by helping being her as her on hand make up artist and using the tips and tricks Lisa teaches us I can make her happy with herself again. Lots of love to you all.
I'm 22, nowhere near menopause but I just LOVED watching this. It was so soothing to listen to you, Deborah, talking with humor about something that happens to us all. :) Makes it not so daunting to grow older!
I'm only 14 but I will still sit here and enjoy any of your videos no matter how long and no matter what subject, they're just so relaxing and educational :) x
I'm on the other side. At 52, most of her models are way younger and she's using looks that I probably wouldn't. But I agree with you. Her voice is so soothing, and I love her videos. :-)
I am also having problems lowering of the vision, I bought a mirror that increases the visibility of 10, it is fantastic and allows me to create detailed makeup on the eyes and lips. I am 47 years old and I still wear makeup every day of my life by improving my skills with the passage of time. Thank you Lisa for your valuable advice, Deborah is still a very pretty woman.
Deborah is brilliant. It is so nice to see someone a little older. No offence to the younger ladies out there but 40+ women are under-represented in make up tutorials :) She is very attractive and funny and interesting too. You enhanced her beauty. Also, I bought the Chanel lip pencil recently - I love it - best shade ever. All on your recommendation...
GREAT VIDEO!You are a diamond in a rhinestone world Lisa! This is hardly ever addressed specially by anyone in the beauty/make up industry although aging woman account for more than half of customers/consumers of cosmetics and or services from beauty professionals .
I love this video, you address so many issues women have, young/old. I really want to know how Debora takes care of her skin (apart from living in England as she said :-)) because her skin looks REALLY good. Thanks, Lisa!
Love this video. Made me laugh bcuz your guest has a really good sense of humor sharing the struggles that we have at this age. She also has gorgeous facial features. Lisa you did an excellent job, very natural, focusing in her face strengths. ❤
Oh my gosh I had no idea that is why the pigment changes on the sides of my neck and my chest are so bad. When you said menopause brings out all the pigment from past sun damage, yes!!! It all makes sense now. I couldn't figure out why it was looking so horrible in the recent years, darn menopause!! (been going through it for two years). Wow, it feels so good to know what is going on! Thank you!!
OMG! I am beyond speechless! I never thought one day I would be able to pick a favourite video from you Lisa, but this one won hands down. Not only cause for your, very well known, make up transformative and enhancing skills, but because Debora is one of the most amazingly beautiful women I have ever seen. And I mean on the outside and the inside. Her skin is to die for, her eyes, her mouth, she is a stunner, but most relevantly her sense of humour and the attitude she has towards the inevitable for all us women is just comandable and inspiring. Hope I can meet her doing the make up on the tube, I will clap! Tks to the two of you for this delight.
Thanks Lisa and Deborah!! my aunt is 52 and going through menopause. she emailed me during the lunch break asking me for make up advices for her age ( I am 27 and has fairly good skin), so I forwarded her this video link, she loved it!! Thanks a million!! you girls made her day!!!
I Love your friend, she has such a wonderful sense of humor and positive attitude about "the change", All our lives we're (women) are expected to stay youthful and pretty and the pressure to stay young is intense, but we can't can we? You know better than anyone being in the beauty industry what its all standing on: youth, body and sex appeal. Older women have tons of sex appeal but sometimes are afraid to show it for fear of being seen as strange, or past their expiration date! Also, I think there comes a time when you say to yourself Dammit! throw all caution to the winds, put on those false eyelashes and live it up! If not now, when will never come. Thank you for a sweet video, Lisa xoxo
This is a great video. I'm almost 49 and believe I've just about completed menopause. All my life I've had oily skin but now it's much drier, which makes me happy. As far as aging, my hooded eyelids are not fun to deal with, but it's manageable. For all the younger ladies out there, ask you mother what her experience with menopause was like. More than likely, that's what will happen to you. When you do start having some premenopausal symptoms, don't fight it. After your first hot flash, you 'll know what to expect and it won't seem so terrible. The woman in the video talked about the hot flashes making her sweat. Maybe I'm strange, but I never broke a sweat. It was more like a heat originating from deep inside and spreading out; more like a cold sweat. I carried a bottle of water with me and found that it helped to take a few large drinks when one would start. If you start to stress, try to remember it's only temporary! It's just one of the lovely things about being a woman :) Thanks for this video, Lisa!
I am so grateful to have found this video! I have been searching or exactly the information that is contained in this episode. I am starting to experience the onset of menopause and I have no grandmother, mother, Aunt or older sister to ask. Videos like this validate the female experience instead of denying it. Thank you very much.
Thank you soooo much! I am 57 and always loved (and was very good with) makeup. I have continued to modify and update as the years have gone by, but now the change needs to be a different sort of shift. Thank you for showing the way back to feeling pretty again! You have mad skills...the term 'makeup ARTIST' is certainly apropos at your door. Very best, Dina
I love Deborah so much! You're absolutely stunning. It's so refreshing to see someone with both a glow and natural beauty but with some evidence of aging-- REALNESS. I'm in my early 40s and have seen many MANY changes in the last couple of years, but I am not willing to relegate myself to a place that "older women" are supposed to go-- i.e. disappear. It's so infuriating that to be a natural beauty past your 30s is somehow considered an exception. Revolution!
I cannot say how pleased I was to see a tutorial for mature women dealing with menopause. I am in that category and it's wonderful to learn some good tips to deal with the unpleasant effects of this life process. I think it's high time that there were more videos about what women can do to still look their best even when their skin, hair and body is going through such a change. I also have to say that Deborah is amazing. Such a great personality, such warmth, intelligence and humor! A great example to us all!
Thank you so much XOXOXOXO for talking about makeup for us ladies who are experiencing menopause. It is refreshing and desperately needed. Menopause is challenging enough without all of the changes in our skin. It is a blessing that you believe that is older women are still beautiful. Thank you and many blessings.
Thank you so much for posting this video. I just turned 51 and it's been so hard finding makeup advise for women in their 50's. When I go to the department store and see sales associates in their 20's applying the wrong makeup on older women I just want to stop them and tell them about your videos. So thank you!!
There is a lot of trial and error in makeup for maturing skin, the number one thing for me is the crepey eyelids and finding the right eyeliner and tools to make the makeup go on without the skipping marks across the lids. I for one hate the fact that I have to gently pull the skin to even everything out. I would like tips and suggestions and recommendations on application and products in a video. Thanks
i am 48 and right into menopause and i love this. so many handy tips. i want all the products and debora ROCKS!!!! she is making me feel much happier about losing my looks and my marbles! hahaha
+haret0n We aren't "losing our looks and marbles" we are finding new ones! And as to foregetfulness, what were we talking about? I know, it can be annoying, but I get so much more exercise now that I must take several trips to recall what I meant to do (get, put away) the first time. Celebrate your experience and enjoy your new adventures.
i am 20 years old and am currently going through menopause, it's hard to understand at such a young age as many people don't think we need to know all about it yet! this was very helpful, thank you :)
I would love it if you could do a video on makeup for trichotillomania sufferers, as I have lived with it for a few years and I'm still waiting for those darn eyebrows to grow back. It such a rare disorder that I feel many people think they are alone so it would be wonderful if you could do a video on how to cover up and help the makeup to stay on whilst the person is recovering:) love you and your videos!! Ciao x
I love how this is makeup for menopausal women and at the same time younger women can use the tips in this video if they have oily or dry skin or other problems. You are truly amazing at what you do Lisa!
Ugghhh....I so needed this! It's not just hot flashes, but also less eyesight, more hair( in my nose for crying out loud!), thinner hair, and more. This 1 tops all your good work, Lisa! 🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇
Lisa, this is officially the very best video you have done! Kudos to Deborah for agreeing to be in front of a camera without makeup. She is really a lovely person based on this video. The interaction between the two of you was terrific!
I can't believe someone commented on her applying her make up on the tube. He's the rude one. At least she wasn't driving to work and applying it in the car. I hate how some men get annoyed when women wear make up and other men expect us to. The worst part is there's nothing I can do that will piss them both off :P
I really love watching women put their make-up on, on the tube. It's interesting to see what they do and what effect they achieve (though not always good!). I'm always tempted to strike up a full-on make-up conversation. Make-up is the best thing about being female. I can't think why anyone would be offended by someone doing their face on the train. It's completely practical - and the light is pretty good, too.
the sweetest woman on youtube ever !! I feel so proud for all the women who struggle with all the difficulties and still be funny and confident. Congratulation to Lisa's Eldridge team for this video
What a beautiful makeover! I just happened upon your channel when I saw the topic and I am also dealing with these issues. I have now subscribed because it takes true talent to vary your makeovers to fit the client. So many muas would have tried to make her over to look "younger" which is just the worst. Of course her skin is absolutely gorgeous! Looking forward to more of your videos. Thank you!
From one menopausal woman to another, Debora is beautiful! Thanks to Lisa for showing how to reveal this quickly and simply, and thanks to Debora for being willing to share. You are both an inspiration to women all over the world.
Absolutely loved this. She was fantastic. Real women telling the truth. There's nothing better. Honestly, she looked great before with her gorgeous skin and even more amazing after. I personally don't think she needs anyone's permission to apply her makeup on the tube. Do what you have to do unapologetically.
Debora seems like a lovely person to have a chat about anything, really. She also looks amazing and seems to be holding on amazingly with all those scary changes. Thank you Lisa, I need to show this to my grandma!
Wonderful as always! Beautiful make-up and woman. I would recommend her to take some oil fish or Omega 3 every day, I started that and all the symptoms disappeared. I take one gel pill every day, and no more sweating, no more anything, if this can help. I have a dry skin too, so thank you for the tips.
THANK YOU! I was diagnosed with breast cancer at age 43 (last year in 2016) and chemo threw me into medical menopause. It's nice to see a beauty-related discussion (hell, ANY discussion) about this phase of life.
Deborah looks like she's 40 -- even without makeup! I'm old enough to barely remember menopause -- it gets better, trust me! ;) Great tutorial, as always.
This is so raw and real. More women need to talk about real issues like this! Lisa, you did a wonderful job with the makeup. It's absolutely beautiful. And Debora, you are gorgeous with or without makeup! Thank you for sharing your personal experiences. I'm sure it will help out a lot of women.
How wonderful to see such a fresh, humorous and accepting approach to a natural process we are probably all need to cope with. Thank you Lisa and Debora!
What a beautiful lady, inside and out! And thanks Lisa its about time women over 20, 30, 40 started getting the products and info they/we need! Beautiful result!
Thanks for this video Lisa! I had an 'Ah ha' moment when Debora spoke about watery eyes. I didn't event connect that it could be b/c of my menopause. And I love the eye primer tip on the upper lip. It. So frustrating to get my makeup done, and set and then my lip breaks into a waterfall. My solution was to powder and then found myself removing everything to start all over again. Thanks to Debora for being so honest, I can identify with EVERYTHING she spoke of. It's refreshing to know I'm not alone... As I write this I am in the middle of a hot flash😅
I've all but given up on makeup because of hot flashes. I can't take an HRT so I suffer the full gambet of symptoms. Thank you so much for doing this video! It's several years old and still relevant!
I've waited so long for a MUA to cover this subject, and I really thought I would come out the other end of this make up tutorial with a way to wear make up again. What I have found is that everyone's menopause experience is different. I know that if I'd been sat in your chair as soon as you put on the first cream I would have started to sweat. I'm talking water poring down my face, you would never have got to the foundation. I must be an extreme case (just my luck) and now hoping my 4th and strongest yet of HRT will help. I hope your video helps all the other menopausal women out there. Many thanks Lisa xxxxx
I'm a teenager (14 years) but I love to watch your videos, I watch every single one because you are gorgeous and your model today is beautiful! Could you do a video about peach fuzz or facial hair and how to kind of cover it? And how to make make up to not look so cakey or anything like that? :) xx
Did you know Marilyn Monroe had a layer of light coloured peach fuzz all over her face and refused to remove it? She thought it gave her a nice glow on camera. x
I didn't know that, wow. That lady was the queen ;) Are there even ways to remove it ? Like all over the face ? I am just realising that I have literally no idea about all that... x
VeshOfficial There are facial waxes, but unless you really trust it and have good experience with waxing, I recommend against it. I've tried it and on every place I waxed, I broke out like crazy. Looked like a clown for weeks! (thank god for concealers)
VeshOfficial You can use a depilatory cream like Nair or Veet but I wouldn't recommend that for sensitive skin. Olay also has a good one (I have sensitive skin and the Olay one doesn't burn or break me out). You can also wax it off (I'd have it professionally done). Some girls even have their cheeks threaded. With waxing, depilatory creams and threading it won't grow back coarse or black so you don't have to worry about that. (I'm an Esthetician so I learned all about it in school lol). If you don't want to go the removal route, a good tip is after you apply your foundation and powder take a clean brush and stroke downward lightly on your face so the hairs lay down. Hope this helps!! :)
As you get older you forget that peach fuzz exists, trust me no one is looking at your peach fuzz and everyone has it! Don't go get waxes or anything at 14. I used to be horribly self conscious of peach fuzz and i was convinced i had side burns (actually just my hairline finishing close to my ears). Once you realise no ones actually looking and its totally normal then you'll feel better. It comes with age (i'm 20)
I love this! I'm sending to my mom and aunties! Such lovely ladies having girl talk like we all do with our close friends. Lisa, thanks for all the sisterhood you bring to us!
Very enjoyable video Lisa! Deborah is very fresh and youthful in her appearance and you did a fabulous job accentuating the positive. Please express my thanks to her for her candor and sense of humor. Having a sense of humor is absolutely the best cosmetic out there and an absolute must as we gain maturity. The actual cosmetics are icing on the cake. Thank you!
THANK YOU!!!! I went through surgical menopause at 35 and now I'm 45 and I have struggled with hot flashes/dry skin and wrinkles...everything changed almost over night! This is such a great video that really answered so many problems that I have encountered.
What a great video! I have a lot of the same issues... desert dry skin, sparse lashes, poor vision... and oh, the chin hairs! It was like one day none of my makeup was appropriate for my skin.
Debora is just gorgeous! And I love how Lisa is so encouraging and knowledgeable about skin, skin care and make up. Thank you so much for this awesome video. It gives me hope! (Currently going through menopause and NOT loving it! LOL)
At 44 you are a long way off from the menopause. You are looking at 50-54 so enjoy a flush-free life while you can. Hey, there's always HRT. It practically eradicates the flushes.
Thank you Lisa for do this video! I loved Deborah , I live the same problems since I received the diagnosis of early menopause when I turned 38. At first I was startled by the heat, I thought I was having a stroke hahaha My doctor was very gentle and attentive to me because he knew it was difficult for someone young go through all this . Always had good humor and , like Debora , amuse me with the challenge . Play with everything and give funny answers to people is a way to go through it more easily . I won the magnifying mirror of my husband , he has always done everything to help me , is patient and does not tire of saying that I am still beautiful and the great love of his life . It makes my heart warm . I do not do hormone replacement for medical advice (I have relatives who have had problems ) then I make use of foods that help , Tofu , soya and nuts. In the most ? Have fun, we are alive and full of health, have passed by menstruation is now easier ... Kisses from Brazil
I am utterly confused by blush, the advice seems to be totally random depending on the make-up artist, place it high, not too low, not on the apples of the cheeks after your 30's, 40's 50's (I'm 58) and yet here you are putting blush on apples of Debora's cheeks to beautiful effect. Could you clarify? Personally, I believe that the problem is that most of the make-up artists here on youtube (which I adore) are all young... :D Debora's make-up is stunning and so well done, thank you.
Thank you for this video. I am 46 and this year I have witnessed the onset of aging skin. I found this tutorial so beneficial. Lisa, you have such a gift for making a woman's natural beauty shine through Deborah, you were beautiful before and after your makeup application.
The 'M' word has been taboo for too long! I love the look that you created with Debra! Her 'look' was sensational... and what I loved about it, she does look radiant...and yet NATURAL beauty....shone right through. Lisa you are amazing, and so informative. Loved watching this... thank you to both of you, for taking teh time to share this!
oh finally! It would be lovely to see more of these as many products/ styles that suit young clear youthful skin, don't suit those of us over 45. It is that time of your life when you start to have more time to look after yourself , and can't get away with a quick swipe of mascara & lipgoss for a busy day. Thank you Lisa…I hope you do more of these. Lovely!
Lisa, this video for me was a-m-a-z-i-n-g. Menopause caused me to have to change my entire skincare and makeup regime. I bought just about every product in this video and they're all super for me. We don't talk about menopause enough and thankyou to your lovely model. Highly recommend these products, thanks SO SO much Lisa xx
Wow she looks amazing, not to mention that I would never had guessed she was going through menopause. This has helped me understand makeup even more, not only for menopausal women, but for those who think they can't wear makeup because of sweat. Your wonderful Lisa, thankyou!
wow, what a lovely video! I hope menopause is still some time away, but I am less scared of it now ;) Debora seems to be a fantastic person and a fantastic friend to have, what a treasure!
it's ridiculous how it's not necessarily seen as an "okay" thing to be putting on makeup in public but also as women, we're expected to appear somewhat presentable at almost all times... I heard there are men who judges women for not putting on any makeup at all!
Wonderful wonderful wonderful discussion and makeup application! I chuckled a few times because I can relate...sweating and chin hairs. Beautiful woman....her skin was nearly perfect before the makeup...absolutely stunning!
Beautiful everyday look! I love that Deborah's face looks dewey with a subtle glow rather than a flat matt mask and that the eyes are not overdone. The way you did her eyes draws attention to how pretty they naturally are rather than to her makeup. I love the look!
Wow no way she was 56 when they made this video :D she is gorgeous, and she has aged so beautifully just like my mum! I hope when I'm this age I can still look this flawless hahaha
this was one of my favorite videos. the model is a gorgeous woman. i applaud her for being willing to put her vanity aside to give all of us a glimpse at the real life issues that a woman going through the change can expect to experience. thank you so much!!!
Debora has been trying to post this comment but hasnt had any luck so she emailed it to me and here it is:
"Hello team/gang/ community of Lisa Eldridge devotees!
See below... the 'real' Debora found her way on to here, finally! X
Beautiful!
Lisa Eldridge
genial
Using vaseline/crisco/lard actually has a bit of a truth to it, in that it keeps moisture in the skin. That and sunscreen which Lisa & Debora were talking about in the video. Thank you, Lisa & Debora!
Im taking tamoxifen & therefore going thru the change just wanted to say thank u for broaching the subject x
Does anyone else find these videos very soothing?
She looks stunning even before the makeup!
What a gorgeous, humorous and intelligent woman Debora is.. she shines..
I've also experienced the same problem with hair breaking off around the hairline.
Hello team/gang/ community of Lisa Eldridge devotees!
Thank you. xo ~angie
Great video beautiful make up
I actually thought of you Angie when she spoke of having trouble putting makeup on with glasses! She needs your makeup glasses:)
Jennifer Robbins
Também tenho esse problema, porque uso óculos 24 horas por dia praticamente kkkkkk .
Deborah was much kinder than I would have been. I would have told him that he needs to mind his own business.
Deb is crazy gorgeous and funny too! Please do more videos with her! Like more make-up looks or something!
What a beautiful woman! And I just love her personality and humor. I would love to see more makeup looks with her - stunning :)
I'm only 14 but I will still sit here and enjoy any of your videos no matter how long and no matter what subject, they're just so relaxing and educational :) x
I m 17 and doing the same lol I just live watching her work
I agree, I'm not close to having menopause but I find this kind of tip helpful because I'm sure we will go through this at one point in our lives.
***** exactly, also I really like the lady getting her make up done "now I can sweat in peace" lol
I feel the exact same, I am also 14 but I will continue to watch all of Lisa's videos :)
Im seeing her tomorrow, Ill ask what she is using to cleanse and moisturise etc at the moment X
mehrunissa ok so she told me she is going to come on here herself and tell all re her skincare etc. Look out for her comments : ) X
Great! Look forward to her comments :-)
Can Debora share her skin care tips? Her skin is gorgeous
What a stunner! She's gorgeous and her skin was flippin' perfect. Thanks for all the tips. xo, Tracy
What a lovely lady she is! I laughed when you asked if there's anything else you can help her with and she says "You mean in my life?" haha
Omgosh! I'm glad I'm not alone on trying to do eye makeup with glasses! I was about to resort to using a monocle, like Colonel Klink, to do it!
Revolution!
Wow she is so lovely!!! I am going to show this to my mom :)
oh thats great, thanks : ) X
Beautiful lady, inside and out! Would love to know her skincare routine.
Celebrate your experience and enjoy your new adventures.
i hope i look as good as debora when i reach her age. she's gorgeous
I agree, she looks lovely ...and has a great personality too X
i am 20 years old and am currently going through menopause, it's hard to understand at such a young age as many people don't think we need to know all about it yet! this was very helpful, thank you :)
she's officially the best model ever be on your channel lisa, well, aside from yourself.
Ciao x
Deborah, you have some of the most beautiful skin I've ever seen on a menopausal woman. You look absolutely radiant and beautiful.
I love how this is makeup for menopausal women and at the same time younger women can use the tips in this video if they have oily or dry skin or other problems. You are truly amazing at what you do Lisa!
Lisa's every work on mature women takes 10-15 years off them. Stunning! Great talent and skills!
Ugghhh....I so needed this! It's not just hot flashes, but also less eyesight, more hair( in my nose for crying out loud!), thinner hair, and more. This 1 tops all your good work, Lisa!
🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇
Love the dialogue with these two, I'm feeling educated and enjoying this personality of this model. She's funny.
Ikr???? he cares about women applying makeup but not those weirdos picking their nose??
I really love watching women put their make-up on, on the tube. It's interesting to see what they do and what effect they achieve (though not always good!). I'm always tempted to strike up a full-on make-up conversation. Make-up is the best thing about being female. I can't think why anyone would be offended by someone doing their face on the train. It's completely practical - and the light is pretty good, too.
Eve Chen lol
the sweetest woman on youtube ever !!
I'm 55 yrs old and this was a great video and Deborah is beautiful!
VeshOfficial
You can use a depilatory cream like Nair or Veet but I wouldn't recommend that for sensitive skin.
LOL)
Debora, you are gorgeous! Thank you for sharing this with us! I am 44 and not there yet, but this needs to be discussed more! xx V.
At 44 you are a long way off from the menopause. You are looking at 50-54 so enjoy a flush-free life while you can. Hey, there's always HRT. It practically eradicates the flushes.
Actually u could have it early! A friend of mine is having hot flashes at 40!
It really depends on the facial structure (blush placement). Debora still has full cheeks (regardless of age) so it is appropriate.
Your friend is indeed beautiful, and you brought that out even more. Her honesty is so refreshing and great.
oh gosh I love this lady's sense of humor! I wish I have such sense of humor when I'm her age. Great job Lisa :)
Thank you for this video. I am 46 and this year I have witnessed the onset of aging skin. I found this tutorial so beneficial. Lisa, you have such a gift for making a woman's natural beauty shine through Deborah, you were beautiful before and after your makeup application.
I find tutorials that use models who look like real people rather than those who are classically beautiful, are more helpful personally.
The 'M' word has been taboo for too long! I love the look that you created with Debra!
Her 'look' was sensational... and what I loved about it, she does look radiant...and yet NATURAL beauty....shone right through. Lisa you are amazing, and so informative. Loved watching this... thank you to both of you, for taking teh time to share this!
her skin is so beautiful!!
Lovely!
Debora is absolutely stunning!
She is beautiful and the Make Up...STUNNING!! This is so much prettier than all those ultra cakey tutorials with 100000 products on youtube :)
Wow she looks amazing, not to mention that I would never had guessed she was going through menopause. This has helped me understand makeup even more, not only for menopausal women, but for those who think they can't wear makeup because of sweat. Your wonderful Lisa, thankyou!
She is AMAZING and wouldn't be worry to Go out with no make up on because she is gorgeous exactly the way she is! Ps. Your laugh is sooo sweet!
Lisa- I've been watching your videos for months now. I love how you enhance and correct without changing the character of a woman's face.
I love Deborah!!!
Debora is absolutely stunning, great sense of humor, love it. The beauty shines from within.
LOL!!! She has a fantastic sense of humor. I think she's a beautiful woman.
wow, what a lovely video!
I think applying makeup on the tube is a smart use of time.
Lin Phillips I think so too!
I used to get compliments from my fellow commuters on my daily "bus makeovers"!
Wonderful wonderful wonderful discussion and makeup application! I chuckled a few times because I can relate...sweating and chin hairs. Beautiful woman....her skin was nearly perfect before the makeup...absolutely stunning!
Haha the end of the video - "I can go away and sweat in peace" :D Lovely video Lisa!
I hope when I'm this age I can still look this flawless hahaha
this was one of my favorite videos. the model is a gorgeous woman. i applaud her for being willing to put her vanity aside to give all of us a glimpse at the real life issues that a woman going through the change can expect to experience. thank you so much!!!
ps: she does not look 56!!! good for her.
