I really enjoy your videos. I've lived in Daytona Beach and Lakeland for nearly 25 years, but now I'm living in Nebraska. Burrrrr, it's freezing here and I'm snowed in. It's a good thing I love to stitch and I'm getting a lot done. I'm 83 and I have many patterns yet to do. Love your sense of humor!
Carol, when you started doing your channel I made note of you and then to be frank: all hell broke loose in my life....I want you to know that I have watched your first teaser and your first video here and I plan on continuing on through until I’m all caught up. You have impeccable taste, refined abilities and I am in LOVE with you and your home...Lordy I’d love to come and just stand in wonder and awe of your displayed handiwork. Heavens a treasure trove! Thank you for your kind words spoken about me...I am not so sure about a super star, but thanks so much for thinking so :) I’m really just a girl from Indiana that loves to stitch! Have spectacular day! And thank you so very much for sharing your love of needlework and handwork with the world and with us, but most of all, thank you for sharing you with us!
Vonna I’m thrilled that you have taken the time to watch my videos. You ARE a superstar yet your sweet humble personality is what I see when I watch your channel. You have such a giving spirit and are an inspiration to so many people. Thank you again for watching and commenting. P.S. hang in there with college age boys. They have your heart I know ( mine is now 29 and took 7 years years to finish college but is now an engineer and married and doing well). They eventually learn to “adult” and it all works out ok, especially since you have nurtured them in faith!! God bless you Vonna!
The day you described with your sister where you drink coffee till it’s time for wine and stitch, stitch, stitch is my kind of day. Your projects are also my kind of projects. Thanks for sharing.
Watching your first flosstube was alot of fun. I had a friend teach me to cross stitch back in 1985, and at that time I found cross stitch kits and such at Walmart. And then of course my friend would loan me a pattern. So much has changed since then and so many incredible designers to follow now
It is December 2021. I have watched a few of your later flosstubes. When I decided to subscribe I also decided to watch from the beginning. I also stitch in hand. Love watching you.
Carol you did a beautiful job on Jennifer quilt. I have discovered that I enjoy working on a small with a larger project. Have a nice Easter. Great video!
Oh, my! You have so many beautiful pieces stitched. I also love to stitch pieces with scripture. Your wall is a feast for the eye. Thank you for taking the time to make a videos. I will be watching for more.
Welcome, Carol, to FlossTube!!! You are a fabulous new, budding, rising star!!! 💫 I was delighted to hear your association with friends Barb and Alma, and loved seeing your stitching of their designs. Your sampler stitches are gorgeous. I love your “kitted and ready” segment, too. And what a treat to see an R&R Reproductions Sampler in your stash... my LNS is the wonderful Dyeing to Stitch / R&R! Looking forward to seeing more from you!!! 💖 Donna Rae
Donna Rae. Thank you so much for your kind gracious words. Dying to stitch is definitely going to happen sometime. Hopefully this year. Also I watched your video and as always lived it!! And thanks for the kind mention. 😚
❤️❤️ congratulations on your first Flosstube again can't believe it's been over 4years Carol ❤️ thanks for so many beautiful sampler ànd quilt videos 🎉 InezArnetta 🌹
You are quite wonderful....a natural. And what a meteoric rise to fame on your 1st vid....wow everyone is talking about you! You mentioned something about 30 & 40 yr olds thinking that might be old (sorry didn't get the exact quote) I turned 70 this year & just learned to crochet (I knit & dabble in jewelry), bought a sewing machine thinking I could learn to sew (yes you can teach an old dog new tricks!!) and recently bought a teeny tiny stitch kit that I have no idea how to start but have a friend who is going to get me started & another friend who insists she can teach me to quilt...oh haha! Whew...breathless just thinking about the journey ahead! Hope to see more of you soon....we all do!! Thanx for sharing :D
Hello Carol. The earliest stitching I can remember is a flower card with holes that I stitched with bright yellow wool. I was sitting in a car and must have been about 4 years old. Lovely to have similar memories. You and your husband remind me of Mr and Mrs Beaver (and her sewing machine!). Enjoying your videos and much appreciation to both. 💐
Enjoyed your floss tube very much. I hope to see more. I’m also a quilter and knitter. So fun to see your great works of art!!! You are an inspiration! Thank you for sharing. More please.
I always look forward to & love all of your videos filled with eye candy & inspiration. Your prim stitching box is beautiful. I particularly loved today's video because I love stitching anything with Spring colors & bunnies.
This came up on my newsfeed...I watch you regularly...loved to see your first. Will binge watch now... Love all of your finishes and wips and kitted projects....I would also love to be your BFF....
From one Carol to another...and from one sampler lover to another...your channel is wonderful!!! I've been stitching for about 33 years and my focus started as samplers with houses. Did a lot of Ewe & Eye & Friend and Blackbird... not doing as many samplers now, got caught up in more seasonal stitching but I LOVE samplers of all types. Can't wait to see what you are working on and some of those fabulous samplers on the walls of your home... Happy stitching!!
Enjoyed your video very much. I'm 34 and I've been stitching since I was 12. I don't have kids and I don't work a full time job,job so I'm very fortunate to get to stitch 4-5 hrs on a good day and at least an hr or two on a busy day. I also super love flosstube, look forward to seeing your videos. Happy Stitching.
Samplers are my first choice in stitching. . .one cannot have too many. Enjoyed seeing yours. And you are so right about Barb & Alma. I've know Barb since '87 and she is the same lovely person. Will look forward to seeing your text video.
I could just sit and stare at everything behind you hanging on the walls! I love your decor and your quilts too. I’m from south Florida, my closet LNS is in Ft Lauderdale. Looking forward to another video.
You are an absolute delight!! Love all your projects!! I just got back into cross stitching after a 19 year absence when I discovered quilting!! I am back now and so delighted in the designers and their beautiful charts!!! I am with you, no matts, no glass, when I have my pieces framed. I am just now getting into 36ct., but need a magnifying light to see the wholes. I am old too!! I subscribed and I am looking forward to video # 2. Happy stitching Carol, Lynn
Carol, great video! You did a wonderful job and I so enjoyed spending my time watching you. Loved all your stitching and you seemed like a natural at this. Look forward to seeing what your finished projects look like framed. Happy stitching
I stitch the same way, right to left with a sewing motion, also dropping down and "catching" stray stitches, like you. Love your video, can't wait for more to come!
I love your video. Margaret & Margaret was one of my favorite sampler designer. I have done several of her samplers more than once. Thanks for sharing.
Great video Carol! We have the same taste also. I mostly do reproduction samplers. I miss the Liberty store alot! I used to make day trips down there. I'm in Iowa and only three hours away. Country Sampler in Spring Green, Wi is to Die for! I quilt also and it is heaven on earth. Thank you for sharing!
Hi Carol I’ve been watching your videos for quite some time but I have never started at the beginning. I truly enjoyed it you’re a pro at this! you started off wowing me and you’ve continued all these years so good for you😂 I love your stitching …I love samplers… so that’s my joy also❤
Many thanks to Flannel Jammies Farm for recommending your floss tube channel. I am so glad you are doing this, what an enjoyable episode, I saw many, many families patterns! Although your completion rate far exceeds mine!!! Looking forward to your next episode.
Love everything you've shown! I'm a long-arm quilter as well and home you incorporate some of your quilting in the channel as well. I really like watching the multi-craft stitchers. Welcome to the community. Making Alma and Barb quilts is actually what brought me to cross stitching. I always wanted to go to school for textile arts and there just weren't any in my area. Maybe when I retire at the end of the year.... who knows? Looking forward to the video!
Ok so I’m losing the few marbles that I have left! I was sure I had answered your comment but it’s not here so maybe not? I love your videos, not to mention your beautiful sewing room!!! Anyway yes I’ve done some of the blackbird girls quilts and I love to hand appliqué. They are so talented. I went the textile and clothing merchandising route in college as my creative side is not that great!! For me it was all about the sewing!! Thank you for watching and my eyes are on you too!!!
LOVE all your samplers, finished and not. I too was taught to start in the upper right hand corner. I always stitch with one thread over two on 32 count. And of course you've enabled me. Happy Stitching.
Awesome job Carol!!!!! I LOVED watching your video.... all the Blackbird and samplers! We share these loves... Keep the videos coming... I want a tour of your home or at least your quilting business and stitching room~
Love your first video & am looking forward to watching more. Like you I’ve been stitching for decades so have seen peaks & troughs of interest in Needlework & cross stitch. I’m in the U.K. & love the way this stitching community is international
Thank you for watching and hopefully I’ll do another one this week.i so want to visit across the pond. There is a village in England called Whitchurch which is where my husband’ family originated!! Small world!
Saltbox Stitcher I grew up near a small town called Whitchurch in the county of Shropshire but I know there is another Whitchurch in Hampshire and there may be others Hopefully you will get to the U.K. one day and with your husband's heritage venture outside London which is all so many visitors see. Looking forward to the next video (no pressure 😄)
Love all your stitching so beautiful!!!! We live so close to each other and I am so happy to know that i am not the only one in the area. I live outside of Jacksonville across the border in Georgia in a town called Saint Marys and so far i believe i am the only stitcher here.
Great video! I have lived in the KC area for 30 years, familiar with the shops you mentioned. First rule of Maynia is that you make your own rules! Now, to go forth and stitch!
Aww lucky you! I miss KC! Except I’m a cardinals fan not a royals fan since I grew up in STL! Sorry! I’ll remember that about making up my own rules. I usually do that anyway!😜
Hi Carol! Oh my goodness! Your wall and finishes are amazing! Besides Theresa I'm sure you'll have a list of people who want to be your BFF! Seeing all your work inspires me to want to stitch more! I've only been stitching a little over a year obsessively! Years ago I tried Cross stitching for a while years ago but never kept with it. If you'd like, you can find me on Once Upon a Stitch. Now I'm going to watch your next video! Happy stitching! Lori S
Okay, so we pretty much are BFF's who just haven't met yet. Everything you held up (patterns, WIP's, finished projects) I was like: "Have that. Love that. Have that. Am working on that. Have that. Designed that. Finished that. Did that." I stay up until 2 stitching. I do not put glass or mats on my needlework. I love 40 count and samplers. Been stitching for 38 years. Love Barb & Alma. Thank you for sharing yourself -- I have subscribed...I think I'm subscriber number 72 (lucky #72). Thank you for pointing me to your video!!! I'll talk to ya soon. - T
Theresa thanks for watching. You are such a kindred sister, it warms my heart! But sadly I can't sing. I hope we can meet sometime. coffee at 3? teehee
Hi Carol! Welcome to Flosstube! I have heard you mentioned several times and finally found a few minutes to search you out. I’m so glad I did. What lovely pieces you have! And all the BBD! Love them! I haven’t finished watching yet, but wanted to say before I forget that I too only stitch in hand using the sewing method and stitch 1 over 1 all of the time. It’s a little different, in that I go over two threads on the back so I don’t get the slippage. It sounds weird, but I showed how I do it in one of my Maynia Stitch with me Flosstubes. I’ll figure out which one it is and let you know, in case you want to give it a try. Anyway, back to the show! And there you have it! Your first video! Wonderful job! As others have said, you are a natural. I am not a big sampler person myself, simply because it doesn’t suit my decor, but I do love and appreciate them, so I love seeing all of yours. That Exceedinly Diligent one is high on my list of must dos! Anyway, it was fun to spend this time with you and now I’m on to your next one! Hope you’re having a great week and had a great 4th!
Loved your video and your gorgeous work! I live in central FL and I also love all things prim- I just started the 23rd Psalm by Margaret and Margaret to go with the Many Mansions I have hanging in my dining room. I’m a quilter too- love primitive appliqué and dark and dirty fabrics! Please keep the videos coming, and thank you for sharing your lovely work and life with us😊
Carol!!!! Welcome to FlossTube!!! Oh my goodness I want YOU to be MY BFF!!! I didn’t want this video to ever end!!! I love everything you shared! We have the exact same taste and I drooled over it all! Please come back soon! Your backdrop makes me want to drop dead!!! ☺️ So so great! Thank you for starting my day with loads of stitchy goodness and your lovely personality!! 💕
Carol...I had to watch your first vlog twice because there was so much to look at behind you as well as what you were sharing that I got lost in the information of you vlog. I was very happy to hear you say that you are a purist when it comes to stitching for I too have a VERY hard time changing anything that the chart designer created. I jus feel like I'm taking away from the intent of the creator and far be it for me to think I know best. I did the stitchmaynia for the first time this year as I wanted smalls for a basket idea I have. I too finished a great deal of what I started and have even more WIPS since the first 18. I'm a stitcher with 38 years of needle time with most of what I've done being Berta Hummel charts and Christmas designs. FlossTube has given me a whole new outlook on stitching as I now realize that there are a whole host of stitchers out there in the stratosphere and I'm not all alone in this obsession I call a hobby. Your décor has drawn me in and your stitching has hooked me to yet another vlog. I really appreciate your gift of stitching and look forward to many more visits with you in the future.
Thank you for watching and for your kind comments! I hope to do another one this week. And I agree flosstube is great as it shows us we’re not alone in this hoarding obsessive hobby!!! That I can’t seem to get enough of!
Carol I just love you cause you & I have so many of the same back grounds. I was born in New Jersey & moved to Pennsylvania back in 1992. I know that’s different places than you, but two different states. I have 2 grown boys & they have families of their own.I have 6 grandkids, but my husband past away a little over 2 years ago. I might of told you all this in another video. I wish there was a shop like salt box sampler store cause there’s nothing close by me & it stinks lol. I love to stitch & also quilt but I like to do hand quilting not machine. I’m an old fashion country girl. I love samplers also. But omg so many things that you have done in your past is the same kind of crafts I have done since I was a child . It runs in my family & now I’m teaching my grandkids. I was suppose to be moving to Florida to live with my youngest son & his family cause they didn’t want me to be up north anymore & I was really looking forward to getting away from the snow & cold weather. But now they came back to renovate their home they own up here to sell. Now they tell me that they are going to buy a larger home so I can still live with them but here in pa. I’m really disappointed & I never thought I would feel this way cause I always said I would never want to live in Florida. They were living on the gulf side in a town called Seminole in penniless county. I probably spelled that wrong. They loved it there but I don’t know what changed their mind. Can I ask where you live in Florida if you don’t mind? I just love your home, it’s my taste & love your work. Oh how I wish I could meet you. I feel such a bond to you. My mom passed away many years ago & my mil is still alive & does some cross stitch but she’s not into it like I am & since my husband passed we aren’t as close anymore like we were. Why I don’t know. So I really don’t have anybody that I can be friends with & stitch with, I would love it if I did. I would love to be your bff. You keep saying your old but you sure don’t look it. I’m 66 years old & my boys are 31 & 38. Does your daughter stitch or quilt? I’ve never been to any stitch conventions or what there called, sorry. I just never have anyone else to go with & money is so very tight for me. I could just listen to you all day. I watch my grand kids & that’s what I do is stitch when I can. I sleep late if I don’t have to watch them, but I do stay up late with the tv on & im stitching cause I’m alone for now lol. I just can’t believe how much we have in common. Darn I wish we lived closed to each other. Sorry I kept rambling on. I’ve just never met anyone with so much of the same likes & back ground. I just love you. You are the sweetest & most talented lady I’ve ever met. God bless you & your family. Hugs
Saw your sister today probably. I went in to pick up an order and they could not find it, however I got a call later and they had found it! I live in Wichita and have shopped at the stores you mention. Love them all. Love Hearts Desire for years. You have some beautiful finished pieces.
Aww lucky you to be able to shop Hearts Desire. Great shop!! Have you visited The Silver Needle in Tulsa? It’s not that far from Wichita and worth the drive! Thank you for watching!
Hi I’m new to the cross stitch community and to your floss tube and I’m loving it!😊 Thank you for sharing all your amazing projects and your knowledge.
Love your first video and can hardly wait for more....your work is absolutely gorgeous! I live close to KC and was pretty heartbroken when Old Mill Stitchery closed. And I would be happy to be your BFF!
That was a sad day when Mary told me on the phone that they were going to close. I so miss the Old Mill. They did a lot of my framing! As well as kit up anything I needed! And BFFs it is!!! Thank you for watching and hopefully I’ll do another one this week!
Watched your channel after Kitten Stitcher gave you a shoutout and I am so glad I did. I also love almost all the same things that you do. Have either stitched it or have it. I also stitch one thread on 32 ct fabric. Can’t wait to see the next one to see what else we have in common.
So happy to meet you! I loved watching your video and all your beautiful stitching! Your wall is ahh-mazing!!! I have just recently started stitching Samplers...and on 40 Count! I’m loving it!! Thank you for sharing and I can’t wait to see more beauties 💕
Thank you! I’ve had so many comments about the wall, it’s actually my dining room and my house is fairly small but it makes me happy! I hope to do another flosstube this week, so maybe I’ll show some more!
So glad you're doing videos. Oh my gosh, your stitching is beautiful. I love samplers. Look forward to seeing more. Thanks for sharing. I believe that Lori Brechlin at Notforgotten Farm has the organic sawdust.
Hi Carol! I finally found your channel! I decided to start from the beginning so you’ll see some ❤️ pop up over the next week or so. Full disclosure, I’m Laura, formerly of The Addicted Sisters flosstube. I feel like we have to have meet in person! OMS was my closest shop and I took various classes and joined clubs through them. I adore Hearts Desire. I try to visit as often as I’m able. Love your first video. You’ve done such a great job!! 💜 - Laura :)
HI! I really enjoyed your floss tube and look forward to your next video. I'm on summer break from teaching, so I'm stitching as much as I can each day. I can't wait for the day when I am retired and can spend all my time stitching (when not enjoying my grandchildren)!
Hi Carol! I’m Vanessa, I’ve heard about you from many other flosstubers but have never stopped by until this past weekend. I’m sorry that I’ve been so hard headed! 😂😂😂 Your stitching is stunning. I too have been stitching since I was a child (about 45 years). Sadly, most of my Stitchy things have been gifts. Your stitching wall is glorious to see and has inspired me. I’ve ordered the items to start my first REAL sampler, Ann Grimshaw (I think). You are my spirit stitcher!!! I will be trying to catch up on your channel this week. I’ll try not to bombard you with comment notifications but sometimes I just have to express my gratitude for such a love of stitching and admiration for those that have come before me and still carry the torch. Nice to get to know you. Happy New Year 2022! Vanessa
Fabulous video! Almost felt manic as I watched. I love samplers but certainly don't have as any as you. Excited for the next video. You are a natural. Thanks
I enjoyed Episode 1 so much! It was like having my mom again - the samplers, the Scriptures, the old cupboard, the quilts. Keep up the great work. I hope you'll post again.
How fun to find you on floss tube. I'm Iley from Overland Park, KS. and live three blocks from Gloria. I run into Alma occasionally and hook rugs with Lynn and Mickey. Remember them from Saltbox Sampler? How I LOVED that store. I took all the classes so we probably took a few together. It's a small world. I just got back into cross stitch a year ago after watching floss tube with Priscilla and Chelsea . Love your videos. I'm also a rug hooker and in the Stateline guild. Love it all!
Lucky you! I love Florida but I still miss Overland Park. We lived in a little house just a few blocks from the quaint little prairie village shopping area.
Just found this! I have stitched since 4 and using my mom's treadle machine. I lived in St. Louis but now back in Hannibal. Love our Hickory Stick shop here. Loved the store in Liberty! Wish my major was Textiles. I am a nurses, retired, and loved it but love needlearts!
Carol - Welcome to the floss tube community! Love all your pieces and all the pieces you have started along with your WIPS. Cannot wait to have 5 hours a day to stitch. Happy stitching!
Loved this video. I started from the beginning to see what your stitching was all about. After watching you have caused me to go buy 4 Blackbird Designs you showed, wishlisted the Plum Street Sampler Pink House for later and hunt down the Hats of to Uncle Sam kit (successfully.) I started cross stitching back in 1982 stopped in 1997 with the birth of my 4th child (life was too busy with homeschooling to stitch & lost interest) then picked it back up last year because of my sister getting back into it and inspiring me to pull out a wip from 1997 (still not done as I moved onto other happy projects.) Will come back for more of what you do. I am a seamstress, beginning quilter, and avid knitter - give me all the hand crafts!
So happy your doing videos, very well done. Love your work, now you are not older than dirt and neither is stitching by the lake, because I'm older than she is! Would love to see your whole wall, just beautiful. Come back soon, hugs, Lana .
I absolutely loved your video and all of the information that you gave on each piece. I do have to admit that I've been to your beautiful home and it is quite an inspiration for the soul. Remember the time we counted more than 200 quilts that you had completed leaving me utterly speechless but also laughing hysterically. Can't wait for your next video and of course more time together with coffee, wine, and stitching. BFF's since birth. Love you sis.
I just found your video via a friend who found you. I live in Wichita and shop at Heart's very often!! LOL I know Debbie quite well, and I have attended all of the Heart's Camps since it started almost 20 years ago. Love Barb and Alma and have had the opportunity to learn from them at Heart's Camp as well as at the Old Mill. Such a fun duo they are; just love them. I also love to stitch one over two; mostly on 40 count; love Lakeside Linen and samplers. I have been stitching since the early 70's and I stitch a lot every day since I retired in 2013. I so enjoyed seeing all of your stitching and your finished projects. I look forward to more videos from you. Happy stitching.
Oh my I thought I had answered this but my technical skills are definitely lacking. I think I typed it but didn’t hit send! I bet we have met in person at one of those retreats! I hope to get to Wichita this fall and will definitely get to Hearts Desire! I have some pieces I need framed and Deb does such a nice job! Thank you for watching and hopefully I’ll do another one this week!
Lorrie Michevious Stitches told us all to run not walk to your channel and I sure glad I did. I love your stitching style. Very much like things I Love to stitch. I look forward to seeing more of your samplers you have stitched. Fantastic first video. Thnak you 😁
Wow! That's all I can say to all the images I see in your video. Love all your design choices and the other prim stuff that we can see in the background. Can you do a house tour soon? You seem to have a gift for displaying the right things together - kind of like Priscilla (except not country style)! Can't wait to see more of you Carol.
I have a fairly small house but I love the primitive folk art look and fortunately so does my husband. I’ve collected a lot of antiques too so I mix all that together and it seems to come out ok. It’s always fun to rearrange too!! One comment I always get is that it’s homey!!! And to me that’s a good thing! Thank you for watching!!
I thoroughly enjoyed your video. Love all your samplers and your projects. I have lots of the Margaret & Margaret patterns, but haven't stitched them. Seeing yours makes me want to hunt them out and get started on one!

The day you described with your sister where you drink coffee till it’s time for wine and stitch, stitch, stitch is my kind of day. Your projects are also my kind of projects. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for watching! Some people may call it lazy but stitching, coffee, stitching, wine is a perfect day!! Especially if you don’t spill!!!
Watching your first flosstube was alot of fun. I had a friend teach me to cross stitch back in 1985, and at that time I found cross stitch kits and such at Walmart. And then of course my friend would loan me a pattern. So much has changed since then and so many incredible designers to follow now

Thank you for watching and hopefully I’ll do another one this week! I love samplers with scripture!
So glad I went back and watched this first episode!
Oh my, it’s so awful, I was so nervous!!!

Loved this video. So thankful that Primitive Stitcher shouted you out. Blessings to you....Renee
You are a natural at flosstube with such beautiful works to share. Thank you for jumping on the bandwagon. I really enjoyed watching.
Haha! I think I’m a natural nut!!! Or so I’m told!! Thank you for your sweet comments!
Thank you! I hope to do another one this week!!!
Hi Carol! I enjoyed watching your FlossTube and can't wait to watch the rest. Welcome to the world of FlossTube! - LaDonna
Love, love, love your first video and all your stitching!!! Thank you for sharing with us! Can't wait to see what else you have on your walls!!!
Thank you for watching and hopefully I’ll do another one this week!
You're a natural! Wonderful video, wonderful stitching! I look forward to future installments.
Hopefully I’ll do another one this week! Thank you for watching!
Time to rewatch Carol! I see several things I remember being inspired to stitch because of you 👏🤗
Aww you’re sweet!!
@@saltboxstitcher I had forgotten so many of the beautiful things you’ve shared, several of which I’ve now stitched because of you 🤗
Wow. That’s wonderful!
Thank you! I get caught up in seasonal stitching too! It’s all so much fun!
Thank you so much! It’s so relaxing to stitch for a long stretch of time. Enjoy!
Samplers are my first choice in stitching. . .one cannot have too many. Enjoyed seeing yours. And you are so right about Barb & Alma. I've know Barb since '87 and she is the same lovely person. Will look forward to seeing your text video.
Lucky you to know Barb so well! She is a sweet person! And so talented!! Thank you for your kind words!
I'm so impressed with all of your work. Thankful that Pam and Steph recommended watching you. I'm a new subscriber now.
I’m glad Pam and Steph mentioned my channel. They are so fun to watch. Thanks for subscribing!
I could just sit and stare at everything behind you hanging on the walls! I love your decor and your quilts too. I’m from south Florida, my closet LNS is in Ft Lauderdale. Looking forward to another video.
Come sit and stare while I put the coffee pot on! Hopefully I’ll do another one this week!
Loved your first video! Like you, I love 💕 samplers.
Thank you for watching and hopefully I’ll do another one this week! I use readers to see the higher counts. I’m thankful for good lighting too!
Great first video. Love all of your finishesd pieces. Great background. Also love the quilt. Please share all the things. Welcome to flosstube.🌻
Thank you for watching! Hopefully I’ll do another one this week and show some more things!
Saltbox Stitcher looking forward to your next video. You have so much to share.
Wow so many gorgeous samplers. You are a wonderful addition to the floss tube community,
Thank you so much!
Carol, you are such a lovely lady and I enjoyed your video very much. Looking forward to next time...
Thank you so much! Hopefully I’ll do another one this week!
Carol, great video! You did a wonderful job and I so enjoyed spending my time watching you. Loved all your stitching and you seemed like a natural at this. Look forward to seeing what your finished projects look like framed. Happy stitching
Thank you so much! It’s always fun to get back framed pieces! It’s just hard on the wallet!😩
I stitch the same way, right to left with a sewing motion, also dropping down and "catching" stray stitches, like you. Love your video, can't wait for more to come!
We must be stitch sisters!
This video is awesome, so much eye candy! Beautiful!
I am a new viewer of Floss Tube. I enjoyed your post and getting to know you a bit. Excited to see more of your beautiful stitching.
Thank you for watching!
I love your video. Margaret & Margaret was one of my favorite sampler designer. I have done several of her samplers more than once. Thanks for sharing.
You go girl! Doing them more than once is a superhero kind of power!!! Thanks for watching!
Thank you for the kind remarks for Margaret & Margaret!!
Love your channel. Your stitching is exquisite. I hope you make many, many episodes. Until we meet again, take care....Crystal.
Thank you for watching and hopefully I’ll do another one this week !
I loved seeing all your samplers. I am returning to stitching after 20 years. I left Wichita 24 years ago and have fond memories of "Hearts Desire"
Thank you and how great that you are back to stitching!
Great video Carol! We have the same taste also. I mostly do reproduction samplers. I miss the Liberty store alot! I used to make day trips down there. I'm in Iowa and only three hours away. Country
Sampler in Spring Green, Wi is to Die for! I quilt also and it is heaven on earth. Thank you for sharing!
Wow lucky you!! I might get there in the fall! Fingers crossed! Thank you for watching!
Hi Carol I’ve been watching your videos for quite some time but I have never started at the beginning. I truly enjoyed it you’re a pro at this! you started off wowing me and you’ve continued all these years so good for you😂 I love your stitching …I love samplers… so that’s my joy also❤
Oh my my!!! Those first few are awful!!!! I was so nervous and I sounded so awkward!!! 😳😳
Many thanks to Flannel Jammies Farm for recommending your floss tube channel. I am so glad you are doing this, what an enjoyable episode, I saw many, many families patterns! Although your completion rate far exceeds mine!!! Looking forward to your next episode.
I’m thankful to Donna Rae too!! I love her flosstube channel. Thank you for your sweet comments!
Thank you for watching and one thread on 32 count is my goal. It’s so much easier than wrestling with 2 strands!
Awesome job Carol!!!!! I LOVED watching your video.... all the Blackbird and samplers! We share these loves... Keep the videos coming... I want a tour of your home or at least your quilting business and stitching room~
Thank you so much Faye. You are a superstar with all of your beautiful finishes. Maybe we can meet sometime. Thanks for your kind comments.
Carol your work is absolutely gorgeous and true keepsakes. I am going to subscribe.
Thank you!
Love all your stitching so beautiful!!!! We live so close to each other and I am so happy to know that i am not the only one in the area. I live outside of Jacksonville across the border in Georgia in a town called Saint Marys and so far i believe i am the only stitcher here.
Thank you! I saw on Facebook that a new quilt store is opening soon in St Marys. That’s a great place to meet stitchy friends!!!
Lori S
Thank you and the more you stitch and finish pieces, you’ll be inspired to do more. Enjoy!
KittenStitcher i
Theresa thanks for watching.
Love your channel. So nice to see another sampler stitcher. Keep up the great work!
Thank you for watching!
Great first video. You are a natural. thanks for sharing all your wonderful stitching.
Thank you!
Please keep the videos coming, and thank you for sharing your lovely work and life with us😊
THise 2 samplers are both very dear to me. Enjoy!
Thank you for the kind remark for Margaret & Margaret!!
Thank you for sharing your beautiful needlework. It has inspired me to stitch again.
Thank you!
Wonderful first video!!!! Loved every minute of it!!!! Can't wait for you to do more!!!! :-)
Thank you for watching and hopefully I’ll do another one this week!
And you are sweetness personified!
Heidi Cran miss your videos!! Have you been lost stitching all your beautiful quilt blocks?! 😊❤
Your décor has drawn me in and your stitching has hooked me to yet another
vlog.
Hugs
Wow. To all the things. Beautiful stitching.
Thank you!
Saltbox Stitcher the Silver Needle is on my to do list. I have been to Tulsa many times but my time was limited. I will go soon! Loved your video.
Thanks for the "shout out" for Margaret & Margaret! Still around after all these years!!
Hi I’m new to the cross stitch community and to your floss tube and I’m loving it!😊 Thank you for sharing all your amazing projects and your knowledge.
That’s great!! Thank you!!!
Love love your video and all your work, and knitted up projects and your enthusiasm - love needlework in all forms and you just inspire!
Oh you are too kind!! We should all inspire each other in our needlework! Thank you for watching!
So glad you're doing videos. Oh my gosh, your stitching is beautiful. I love samplers. Look forward to seeing more. Thanks for sharing. I believe that Lori Brechlin at Notforgotten Farm has the organic sawdust.
Thank you for watching and hopefully I’ll do another one this week! I think my sawdust came from scattered seeds on Etsy.
Thanks. AND I used to live in KC and still have family there! Thanks for watching Laura!!!
Hi from Texas.... I love your Channel....l am also a quilter (at least 5th generation quilter) and I adore your house quilt in the background : )
Wow so many generations of quilting! How wonderful! Do have some of those quilts? Thank you from Florida to Texas!
Honey, You are your own star! Love this!!
Aww how sweet!!! Thank you!
HI! I really enjoyed your floss tube and look forward to your next video. I'm on summer break from teaching, so I'm stitching as much as I can each day. I can't wait for the day when I am retired and can spend all my time stitching (when not enjoying my grandchildren)!
Thank you so much! I hope to do another one this week!
New subscriber here and love the joy you bring. Cant wait to see more of that Glory wall behind you too!
I also never wanted your video to end! Gorgeous things. The wall behind you!
Thank you and come back soon!
Thank you for watching and hopefully I’ll do another one this week!
Vanessa
Thank you for watching my rambling. And thanks so much for your kind comments! I’m stitching on Ann too!
Iowa State alum, yay! I just found your Floss Tube on TH-cam. Really enjoyed your videos.
Fabulous video! Almost felt manic as I watched. I love samplers but certainly don't have as any as you. Excited for the next video. You are a natural. Thanks
Aw thank you!! Sorry for the mania!!!
I enjoyed Episode 1 so much! It was like having my mom again - the samplers, the Scriptures, the old cupboard, the quilts. Keep up the great work. I hope you'll post again.
Awww how sweet! Thank you so much!
You are a very talented stitcher. I’m so glad you started a Flosstube channel.
Thank you!
I love everything you do. So happy I found you💕
Thank you!
Love love your stitching wonderful video look forward to watching more
Thank you for watching and hopefully I’ll do another one this week!
Carol - Welcome to the floss tube community! Love all your pieces and all the pieces you have started along with your WIPS. Cannot wait to have 5 hours a day to stitch. Happy stitching!
My WIP pile is definitely growing!😳😳 hopefully I can video another one this week and show some finishes!!!
Great video.....your sampler wall looks wonderful....fun kits and wonderful quilt....thank you so much for sharing
Thank you for watching!
So glad I found your video. Amazing stitching!
Thank you so much!
Feekes Fam you are so right! BFFs since birth! Love you!
I’m starting at the beginning! Love -love -LOVE!!!!
Oh my. That first one is AWFUL. I was so nervous.
@@saltboxstitcher no. It was great! You’re a natural!
I really enjoyed your video. Your house and Samplers are so beautiful! I hope I can attend a retreat with Barb and Alma someday❣️
Thank you so much! I think BBD are going to teach at Dying to Stitch next April. Maybe that can be on your bucket list!!!
So glad that I found you!!! Your work is amazing and beautiful!!!!! Your home looks amazing!!!!
Thank you for watching!
Lorrie Michevious Stitches told us all to run not walk to your channel and I sure glad I did. I love your stitching style. Very much like things I Love to stitch. I look forward to seeing more of your samplers you have stitched. Fantastic first video. Thnak you 😁
Stitcharella thanks for your sweet comment!!!
My friend, Carol, does the most beautiful stitching! I am so proud of you!
Carol Sanford thank you so much, I really had fun with it and plan to do another in a few weeks. Thanks again for your sweet comments.
Loved your video! You are such a prolific stitcher, with such a body of beautiful work. I look forward to more videos.
Thank you so much!
Thank you for showing all your beautiful work and charts. I have gone a bought some already!
Oh good I’m officially an enabler! Haha! Thank you for watching!
Go for it!! They are such beautiful samplers! Thank you for watching and hopefully I’ll do another one this week!
Enjoy stitching them!!
So fun to watch! You have beautiful stitching and we have such a similar taste. Enjoyed it and I look forward to the next one!
Thank you so much! I’m going to try to do another one this week! My husband is my techie so I need his help!!!
