Your daughter is a good dancer..may you will share more of your ideas about crotons and other plants.
Amazing, I liked the way you planted two plants in one pot. As usual your video is unique, informative and this one was surprisingly innovative. Thank you for sharing, best wishes for upcoming videos, take care have wonderful gardening. 🙏😊
Thanks for Nice videos. My gold dust croton , brought from nursary, in my balcony potted in 12inch pot as per your advice potting soil, watering in 2-3days but now with in 7-8days the leafs are, yellowing and falling. What to to whether any organic fertiliser to add.?Pl advice.
This is such an amazing video and a fabulous combination of plants....would you please make a couple of more videos about such combinations? It is very important to know which two plants can be planted together based on watering and other aspects....it would be helpful. Thank you
@Hirak Biswas, Thank you and definitely it's possible :-) But, if you want to grow both Croton and Aralia together, please go for the local variety of Croton (like I grew). The Hybrid variety doesn't respond too well (in terms of Foliage Color) if it doesn't get the direct sunlight. Thank you :-)
Wow..gold dust croton looks amazing...adds wonderful colour to garden...the arrangement you made is really innovative👌👌 Overall nice content...well explained..
@Bhagya Laxmi Raghupathruni, Thank you for the feedback, appreciate it :-) Just recently I published one video about the seeds I used and please watch this - th-cam.com/video/kiF0jeLWGMI/w-d-xo.html
Beautiful video with very good information. I hope I will be able to take care of my croton. I woul like to know rain Lily and Mogra. My rain Lily is not flowering so how can I use bonemeal for flowering? Also, mogra plant has gone to dormancy, I've pruned plant. Used npk and vermicompost but not producing single new leaf? Please reply. Thank you 😊
Most of the problems can be solved simply by repotting once. Arelia is a slow growing plant..and basically this variety. You can use fresh rich soil mix, repot it and provide enough bright light. It should get recovered. And once it starts growing, you can prune here and there to make it bushy..Good luck!
Hey bro. I am new to gardening and i just bought a croton from nursery and repotted. But the pot is not draining properly. So wanted to know where i went wrong and how can i fix it. Your response will be much appreciated. Thank u
@Bhaswati Barman, Crotons are usually hardy and don't die too soon...While in pots, we need to be bit careful while watering. They don't like too wet soil. In water, they root well and I already have 2 cuttings for which I have some other plans. If you keep in water, allow few hours of morning sun and change the water frequently. They wouldn't die and perhaps, you can try once again :-) Anyway, I would upload one video showing more and more details..thank you :-)
Wow.. your daughter is jolly kind of person. She dances with energy. Surprise was awesome. But sir,u haven't reply my comment of your latest rose plant video.
@R. J., Thank you SOOOOOOOOOOO much for your feedback, much appreciated :-) Yeah, she enjoys when I record her..ha ha..does her own gardening videos as well (just in her own world) I replied to your comment yesterday itself, please check :-) And, I would appreciate if you don't call me sir, thank you :-)
Very nice idea gvn to us. Thanks . Chandan ji , I stay in Noida ,hv a request to u that if u could send me the cuttings of alamanda dwarf variety of purple colour as here searched many places but not getting it.
Hi - this is your friend and fellow plant lover, Sujata, from the Midwest of the United States. I have a question for you regarding the Sunny Star Croton plant. I bought two small ones after I saw your video above, they are just so pretty! I am growing mine indoors in containers. But I made a big mistake and put them in maybe too sunny a Western window sill, and did not water them enough. Yesterday they were both completely droopy - leaves all wilted - etc. One has revived for the most part, after watering and moving to more of an indirect light location, but the other plant is still completely limp, not dead yet, but completely limp and so sad. Do you have any suggestions on how to revive it? I feel just terrible about it...I am usually not so neglectful with plants!
@SCP, Warm welcome and I am sorry for taking bit more time to reply :-( Like you said, they must have faced too much western sunlight and western sunlight is not good for any plants actually. Even some of my balcony plants suffer too...as it also gets mid-day and western sunlight. It's okay if a plant is getting whole day of sunlight, it adjust itself depending on the sunlight intensity. But, plants really suffer a lot where they are in shade from morning to 12-1 PM and then sudden very intense sunlight. But anyway, you don't have to worry much :-) Good news is, Crotons are really very hardy and just keeping the plants in bright area would be fine. Also, please make sure not to overwater, specially for the plant which is still limp. As they are in bright area now, please let the top soil dry out while watering for the next time. However, you can definitely mist the plant. I can understand and it's not your fault. It just happens sometime...even, terrible things happen with me too. No worry and they would be happy soon, Good luck :-) Nice to talk with you, Sujata. Thank you once again and TC :-) ~ Chandan
@@GardeningUpbeat Hi Chandan. Nice to be on a first name basis. Good news and bad news to report, from my end. The good news? Both little crotons are slowly reviving! I've watered them and placed them in less direct sun, and left them alone for the most part, and bit by bit, the leaves are standing upright again. Yeah! The bad news? I put a totem pole cactus out on my back porch, in full southern sun, and I think I've fried it! Now on a mission to save that little guy! Yikes! The trials and tribulations of amateur gardening...Meanwhile, thanks for your good advice above. I will mist them and keep a close eye on the crotons. They really are so lovely!
I just found this channel. I'm subscribes to many plant channels. Im surprised I didn't run across you sooner but glad I finally found your channel. Love the demonstrations to show people how to do the steps. Thanks!

@Sherry Porsch, Thank you for your feedback and thank you for your concern about my daughter...Well, for my daughter, I really don't see any issue here. She is just a kid who likes to play with plants and actually can't say it as a proper dancing..she just like to come in front of the camera as she can see her Dad recording all the time :-) She is getting bored as Lockdown is being going on from last many more months...unable to go to school, unable to meet her new little friends...So, I keep her busy in gardening ...Anyway, thank you for your concern, TC :-)
Hope you are doing well! The croton looks a lot like my 42 year-old gold dust acuba. Your daughter is so beautiful! Such thick, glossy hair! Love the colors she is wearing, too.
