    here to offer a bit of advice as someone who's been studying japanese and making significant progress: please don't use this :) especially as a beginner. the selection of vocabulary words are wayy too random and it'll be diffucult to retain. i recommend that after learning hiragana and katakana, start learning your kanji and get yourself a good grammar book (you can get them for free online as a pdf 🤫)
    a good beginner's grammar book will teach you not only grammar but beginner vocabulary in context. a personal piece of advice is to start a journal in japanese and write about your day/week bc it helps you figure out the grammar and vocabulary you need to talk about yourself and your hobbies. i did this for korean and it worked wonders !!
    if anyone needs any recommendations, i have a ton for websites, books and youtube channels :)

    As a native speaker, I have to say that this video has critical defect of lack of Japanese particles (助詞/じょし/joshi). In Japanese language, words are distinguished not only by the pitch of the word itself, but also by the pitch of the particle that follows it.
    For example, a word presented as "はし/hashi" might mean three different words: "箸 (chopstick)", "橋 (bridge)" and "端 (edge)". Without particles, while "箸" is distinguished from the others by the pitch of " *ha* shi", "橋" and "端" have the same pitch, "ha *shi* ". The subject particle, for instance, "が/ga" distinguishes these two words and they are pronounced as "橋が/ha *shi* ga" and "端が/ha *shi ga* " respectively.

      @@aeolian951 yes Japanese TV specially anime’s uses am wrong over extragted version of Japanese, they use words that is rarely used in modern society. And some Japanese words can change mean by just how you pronounce it like, BAKA it can mean, dumb, stupid, idiot. By just how you pronounce it if you pronounce it with an longer bakaa it can mean something else then just an short Baka this is just easy level, and fun fact about Asian languages, they are often backwards in an way. (Some words is placed in other order then we we mostly Is used to, and some words is almost none existing) like “You,She,He,They” are rarely used when talking, Japanese languages is often context based. But yes back to backward so the subtitle would be incorrect as the sound you will hear on the screen might sometimes be the last word in the subtitle as the backwards stuff

    I think the best way to learn vocabularies is from observing and listening to so many real conversations (various animes, tv show, radio programs, TH-cam, social media, etc) from the natives, instead of remembering it rawly like this, so you can also get the contexts in which situation you should use that word, besides there are some phrases that have different meanings depend on the context than their literal ones. For example: "Yabai"
    Just like how we learned our first language when we were baby

    • @chaoflaka8132
      @chaoflaka8132 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well one reason I can agree to this is because as I was surfing this, the word “dye” sounds an awful lot like “die”. And as many of us English speakers no, some words sound or look exactly the same but with different meanings.
      So Imagine if you confuse “somaru” for “die”, which that would be awkward.

Since these are words that are useful, I’ll write them down instead of listening to them in my sleep, knowing that I’ll forget all of the words that are mentioned in this. So for all you people who want to learn these words, write them down! And then once you do that, repeat the words over and over again so at that point you’ll become fluent in that exact word you’re saying!

      @@Tokari_ well I mastered hiragana and katakana from their videos. Now I use lingo dear for japanese. Kanji Study app for kanji and Italki for speech exercises. Now now here's what I DO to memorize kanji. So in my school learning Islamic was kinda difficult and there were alot of words that I never knew what they meant. So my grandpa (rip pops🤎) taught me how I can compared those complicated words into images in my head or words that rhyme with them and have similar meanings to them. I practiced doing it that way alot and it worked every single time. I have done the same with kanji. When I see a kanji that seems rather illogical. I try my best to make up my own silly imagination. Like for example the kanji 食 means 'food' the way they explained it made no sense so I came up with my own. This kanji looks like a hut. And the buttom right part looks like a pair of chopsticks. A place where you go for food. So that's how I remember this kanji. And the same goes with all others as well. Although some of them I try hard to come up with something but fail. So at that point I remember how the kanji looks like. However that's a rare thing to happen because I tend to have an active imagination
      I do recommend you buy like quiz sheets or like first grader text books to get the hang of reading and practicing writing OR you can find them in Japanese learning websites and practice there. And ofcourse you can always find japanese exam sheets and print them

However, it would be fine as background/passive learning while awake I believe. Also, I was expecting more native words and this video is loaded with loan words (words that are close to their western pronunciation). I'll keep looking for a solution.

      Is it normal to get a strong reaction to this while trying to sleep? When I was starting to actually fall asleep I started shaking and my feet were moving by themselves as some kind of reflex. And when I was sleepy and the start of shaking happened, Instead of seeing black it suddenly turned to yellow and it looked like a yellow lave lamp for a little bit. And if you don't know what I mean, you know when you close your eyes and it's all black and there's some blobs of dark color? Yeah it completely changed to yellow, like out of nowhere, like in milli-seconds, it was very noticeable since the switch was from dark to bright yellow really quick. When I started shaking uncontrollably, and my feet and hands started doing weird reflexes, I got worried and stopped listening to this, took off my headphones and just slept normally.
      Is this normal? Can this also be counted as "or you get a strong reaction"?
