The topics I want my channel to be about are entrepreneurship, social media marketing and personal branding. I only have my android phone so I've been procrastinating starting but I've started messing by making IGTV videos.
I love this, Salma, especially for the fact that you broke it down step by step and emphasized the importance of gaining content clarity first before putting gear. Also, unlike the popular saying that people should niche down when starting out, you gave a contrary view by advising people to test the waters first before they niche down which makes more sense. I mean, why limiting yourself to a topic when you don't even know what topic will attract people more? Thank you so much for this salma, you are the best.
I started a TH-cam channel 10 years ago and don't regret doing it but I have started a early new year resolution, be better, to improve myself, improve my channel and make my channel more of a community. But one thing that I lack on this is commitment and after watching this the keyword I picked up on this is commitment.

Great video! I appreciate your content and it has helped me so much. I 100% agree...start now. It took me 3 years to get up the guts and finally on Jan 4 2020 at age 60 I uploaded my first video on my iPhone7. No editing, no lighting, no mic. And yes, it was MESSY...and still is a little messy....but I have managed to upload every single Sunday...still SO much to learn but I am having a blast. Thank you for always posting great content. I learn so much from you. ❤️
7:50 Awesome advice, so encouraging! Part of the journey is definitely playing around with different topics and styles, and it's so easy to get stuck because you overthink it from the start. Even many tutorial videos on TH-cam can build up this pressure like "You need to optimize this and this and this", to the point where you get discouraged and give up before even trying. This guide feels like a breath of fresh air. No pressure - just learn by doing, one step at a time. Love this approach! Thanks for sharing!

I started my channel in Jan 2020. I knew nothing back then. My focus was to get comfortable on camera. I am still working on it. But I have overcome that awkwardness I had when I started. Again, I remember, that was the time when I found your channel 😃

Now I opened a second website (bilingual Italian/English) that is growing well and I so want to start talking more about lifestyle/beauty/blogging in Italian and English or using subtitles. But I'm a bit all over the place, trying to rebrand my youtube channel. Hence I'm just like any other beginner. Can I create separate playlists with different topics? It's so hard to have a channel with more than one focus. It's so hard to gain subscribers if you talk about multiple things. Sorry for the length, I hope you can help!
