Phantom Dinghy Sailing - 13/07/14: Race 3 - start and first beat

Third race of the day started off fairly well for me, until towards the top of the first beat I messed up a tack and then capsized which killed the race for me.
One the second lap I slipped after a gybe and fell back on the tiller extension, which snapped off and disappeared overboard. On getting back to shore, I discovered the centreboard pivot pin had sheared, so the board was jammed in the slot.
All in all, not the best day on the water, and not cheap either!
