- Aerosoft are back with an exciting new release, populating the vast waters of the North Sea, English Channel, Irish Sea & a small corner of the Atlantic Ocean with their NEW Offshore Landmarks - North Sea pack.

The comments I have been seeing recently, saying XP12's lighting is miles better the MSFS's. Well just point them to the night lighting of this add on. It just blows your mind what we can do with graphics in 2022. Aerosoft have blown me away with this expansion pack. Much needed, and expertly crafted.
Sadly you'll never sway hardcore Xplaners away - they'll always have something about MSFS to moan about 🤣

Brilliant add-on I’ve a couple of mates who work off-shore on these rigs and when I showed them your vid they were well impressed. Looks so real, thanks for your hard work you are one of the first I come to for msfs content.

Really cool and amazing detail! I hope we’ll get a Sikorsky S-92 sometime for offshore helicopter charter flights.
That'll be cool! I was digging around for some Bond Helicopter liveries for the H145 tbh to make some of the flying a little more realistic looking but couldn't see any!

Just bought this today, but a wee bit worried of blowing up the rigs with my heli flying, its a wee bit HIT or miss 🤔😉 nice video btw 👍
Amazing detail on the platforms. Small negatives: they never flare or have main crane operation during helicopter movements.
Yep it's nice for sure! Re: animations, I guess it's not possible currently to have the scenery continuously detect nearby aircraft and have the animations stop but I can't code so no idea! 😅 I guess if that was the case you'd never see the animation too

Is anyone experiencing difficulties steering the crew vessel. I’m using thrustmaster Airbus yoke rudder to steer and it starts to turn but when you let go it returns to the original heading or thereabouts.
it's always been impossible to steer for me!

Not intended. They did buy commercial availible models and imported them as is without polygon reduction.
They where able to do this in MSFS without FPS degradation.
For X-plane they have to optimize a huge amount of models. The work involved is to much to make it commercial interested.

You'd have to see if it's available via the MSFS marketplace - if it is, then I imagine yes it'll be compatible 🙂 more information will be available via the Aerosoft website for information about compatibility
