Explosive. Blazing Hot. On Fire. Daredevil stunt. Intense. Fast and Furious. You would think one is describing an action movie. Nope. Just Band-Maid's newest MV release. That Kanami solo on top of the car with the smoky orange fiery glow is just EPIC! The massive explosion behind the band was equally awesome. Band-Maid never disappoints. But, then again we can't expect anything less from them at this point. They are hands down the best and hottest rock group in the world. They are on FIRE 🔥🔥🔥
The start of the song is the "Maid's Waltz" and they play at the start of every concert. You should give the older song "Wonderland (Live)" a listen from their you tube page (Its very melodic with powerful vocals) for a change of pace since the new album is all energy all the time.

I like what someone noted about the metaphor of the cars. It's the British and American music industries, and the direction it is headed. Once it goes up in flames there remains Band Maid. They cannot control J-Band Maid, Po!

This video was recently shot. Japan is this winter and this year is a heavy snowfall. The shooting was done in the rain , and it seems that it was really cold. Saiki singing in front of the flames of dusk is breathing white. The Budokan live on February 11th was canceled, but it was announced that it will be streamed live on the same day. Tickets will be on sale soon. It seems that it will be performed with the set list prepared for the Budokan live. This is actually their core ‘Band Maid Sound’- fast-paced, on-your-face Hard Rock with crunchy riffs and catchy af choruses, ofcourse with a complimentary solo as the perfect icing on the cake. More than half of their catalogue (around 100 tracks) have this sound but Kanami writes and arranges them in ways that makes every song sound fresh and interesting in their own right, while still retaining that familiar BM sound. This I feel is their music’s strongest asset. And being the freak of nature she is, the fans have gotten used to an album every year, comprised of similar consistency in quality and meticulously crafted songs. Till date, they really have managed to deliver without fail. Infact their musicianship and songwriting continues to mature, with their new album “Unseen World” truly being their best in both those aspects.
I heard a theory the two cars represent the UK and USA rock music scenes, always jostling to see who's best. In the end they both get blown up by 5 highly skilled Japanese Maids.
A Japanese fan commented : the 2 cars represent American (Cadillac) and UK (Jaguar) rock. Then you have Band-Maid rocking ON TOP of these 2 cars and eventually destroying them. It was just a fan having fun while watching the MV I believe. 😁
Kanami and Saiki's parents complained about this music video. Kanami's parents: My daughter is afraid of heights, but it's terrible to let her play on the car! (OK on the table.) Saiki's parents: Let my daughter sing on the car! LOL.
Thats a tough one, Bond intro tracks are usually pretty smooth, but I am really tryign to think through them all if there were some more up beat ones. Definitley part of an action sequence for sure. ✌✌
It would be so easy to slide all five of them into roles in a Bond movie, for sure. Miku is Bond's spunky, seemingly ditzy local contact who's actually a crack shot with a mind like a steel trap. Akane's the sunny, happy-go-lucky girl-next-door type waiting tables in the _Peanuts_ cafe who winds up having to drive during the car chase/shootout that ensues after the goons attack Bond in the cafe; fortunately her hobby is drifting. Kanami's the head-in-the-clouds academic whose research is sought by SPECTRE for nefarious purposes. Misa is the mysterious and dangerous assistant to Bond's nemesis for the movie, the main SPECTRE operative - who of course is played by Saiki.
Or maybe an anime of BAND-MAID. They would travel the world doing concerts as a cover wile secretly doing battle with and ridding the world of evil Yurei….. What you all think?
