    Seeing how gigantic Durin it was, it makes you wonder how Dvalin and Barbatos managed to defeat him.

    • @keelanc1681
      @keelanc1681 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      Well, barbatos is a god after all. Weakest of the archons is still a god.

      @@keelanc1681ut in lore, only the Primordial One could compete with the dragon, so no, Venti has nowhere near the level power of the Primordial One to defeat Durin.

      @ZetaMoolah ปีที่แล้ว +36

      @@witmanntheinfinite Aren’t the dragons you’re referring to called Dragon Lords/Sovereigns? Those ones are on another level.

    • @keelanc1681
      @keelanc1681 ปีที่แล้ว +23

      @witmanntheinfinite yeah the seven sovereign dragons strongest of their kind...durin is an alchemical creation, one suffering abyssal corruption, not a lord of vishaps/sovereign dragon. The anemo archon, and Dvalin, a dragon that is suspected to be the reincarnation/current incarnation of the anemo sovereign dragon facing a corrupted far younger alchemical dragon? While it was a fight that left them both needing time to recover, its not at all a surprise to me that the pair came out on top.

      @Keelan C thats what venti says now but there's no evidence of that being true 500 years ago and honestly even today

  • @moonmilkgalaxy

    Never not sad for Durin 😢
    Im also continually perplexed by the primordial one... originally I saw them in a neutral/positive light and assumed they lost and that's why enkanomiya was abandoned. But thinking about the fact they were the one who sent the sky frost nail and listening to Ashikais new video I truly don't know what to think

    • @sageofsixpaths8392
      @sageofsixpaths8392 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Yeah, I also thought the primordial one lost to the second who came, and the second was the one who formed celestia, but now I'm back to square one, I guess 😅

    The Princess had the power to see the future, right? She saw the Dragon fall, I think

    • @SiliconOneFour
      @SiliconOneFour  ปีที่แล้ว +17

      Yes, she did foresee Durin falling, and soon afterwards the Skyfrost Nail descended onto the mountain and wiped out the civilization.

    dragonspine for me is not finish yet because I notice the one area there were susbedo come out in old patch 2.3. That area have a deep cave but cannot access for now (you can see a cryo cicin mage maybe observing that area or waiting for her comrade to come out and a disable alchemy table there)
    that area is near on starglow cavern and emtombed city outskirts it's middle is a lake were you can fish

    Great job, keep it going!

    Thought I should point out here at 5:00 , you mentioned the large figure in the mural. The text on the mural when translated from the ancient Teyvat script into Latin, say something along the lines of “Angels help the faithful. Be quiet, listen and learn.” At least that’s how my father thought it said. He studied Latin for a time in university. I’m not sure if the figure is an envoy or the Primordial One, but it’s a neat detail I thought I’d point out.

      I feel like this fits interestingly with one of the Tsurumi Island murals which says smth along the lines of: "Heaven is not to be watched", with watched seemingly being in the "overseeing" kind of way. To me, combined with the mural you mentioned, it would imply that The Heavens help those who unquestioningly follow their laws ("be quiet, listen and learn") , but will punish those who have even a hint of suspicion (those who would "watch" the Heavens).

    Just a corious question when you cover the chasm in the future:
    If The Chasm was created by a meteorite that fell there six thousand years ago, why does the chasm shape like a spiral? Shouldn't it be more like a crater?
    what's the reason why the chasm can be shaped like that

    • @SiliconOneFour
      @SiliconOneFour  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I haven't researched much into the Chasm myself, but I'm thinking other things may have happened afterwards to create the shape. It could also be a result of mining on the surface.

    • @zelktheinvader7874

    8:20 Now, I'm not sure which one it was, but I remember that the description of one of boxes mentions the foundation of Kheanri'ah, so I'm thinking that Ukko might have gone there after the disaster, only to be turned into a hilichurl when that nation was destroyed as well and then returned to Dragonspine in his hilichurl form.
    However if this is actualy true, it would mean that either Kheanri'ah was a short-lived nation or that Ukko had an exceptionally long lifespan...

    The 'Primordial One' threw down the nail?
    Where is your source, is this confirmed?
    The Primordial one has not at all been linked ti Celestia. Celestia 'aka the sustainer' could be the second who came?
    Or have nothing to do with Phanes and his shades. Or they could be related?
    Can you explain the in game source for claiming it was indeed the Primordial One who sent down the nails?
