As a 31 year old middle class dude who lives his drifting dream through Assetto corsa, this is literally what we all wish could happen. What a very, VERY lucky man!
For a guy that had never drifted,never used a sequential never experienced a race/drift spec clutch and the added feeling in your head of is this even real and cameras everywhere watching for your every reaction Joel did extremely well. The whole video was amazing and I couldn’t stop smiling watching it. I love how even in the end Joel decides to not go with James’s s15 because he wants to get seat time and the r32 and other add ons will help him achieve that goal, James was still right there to support that decision and show that even though he is the world champion in drifting, and him and his team built an amazing car, that it’s not about the car, it’s about drifting.
I wanted to win the car as much as everybody else here but seeing how thrilled Joel was to win the S15 made me happy for him and eliminated all my sadness. Man deserved it a lot. I can't imagine how tough it was to let the S15 go for the R32 but he definitely was thinking smart. Congratulations Joel!

Definitely a smart choice picking the more feasible option with cash and a trailer to be able to physically get it out to the track and enjoy. It, definitely would be hard to pass up that weapon of an s15

Wish that could be me. Going on drift events, sliding a lot on sim in assetto but never had a chance to drift irl. Taking some random e36 from the street is not the same as your s15, your setup is so f perfect that the car is soo smooth. Watching your povs car does what u want, you dont fight with the car. Amazing. Congrats to the winner. I guess i will not see you this year in Warwas in PGE this year :/

Would be really cool if you done giveaways of day with you on track teaching others drifting. It's lower budget so more people could win and just learn by spending a day with legend.
That choice at the end is even better. A car that (no insult to the winner) is so far into high level territory that it's probably too much for beginner, or a winning manageable platform with the means to support the dream. Now it begs the question... who will be driving that beast?
