RB's are fairly strong, friend had an RB30 that was 600hp, was driven a couple times a week and sat on limiter most of it's life, that lasted about 2 years on stock internals, motor was completely unopened apart from putting the RB25 head on an RB30 block, blew up on the dyno at 800whp with stock internals but upgraded cams

This is the first video that hurt to watch, but I think I needed to see it to learn an important lesson. We all get caught up in keeping the miles low on our rare and fun cars out of fear that anything would happen to them or that their value will decrease. What I learned is that cars are meant to be driven to their fullest. I don't think everyone should go destroy their stuff like in the video but we should at least enjoy what we work so hard for. Thank you WhistlinDiesel for always making entertaining videos that you can't find anywhere else.
Well the Skyline is not that rare. You just need to learn how to import one that follows the 25 year rule. WD 2 skylines are not the late 90s model that everyone wants. Yeah it's still a Skyline and cool but he has a early to mid 90s model. Wait till the late 90s R34 hits the 25 year law. Japan exporters cannot wait. They have fields of all models waiting for buyers in the US in a few years. A few mins of research on YT could tell you that. Tons of Skyline enthusiasts that tour Japan and show you what is waiting to be exported based on year and model.

I think the shop was called countersteer.
RB's are fairly strong, friend had an RB30 that was 600hp, was driven a couple times a week and sat on limiter most of it's life, that lasted about 2 years on stock internals, motor was completely unopened apart from putting the RB25 head on an RB30 block, blew up on the dyno at 800whp with stock internals but upgraded cams

So thankful to have seen Whistlin's educational vids on Skylines! I always loved the skylines and GTR's and still do, but I can't afford this!
The vids of him breaking cam shafts like tooth picks are what influenced my decision the most, besides the two blown engines in a matter of miles/meters/feet(???) minutes/hours(????)...

This is the first video that hurt to watch, but I think I needed to see it to learn an important lesson. We all get caught up in keeping the miles low on our rare and fun cars out of fear that anything would happen to them or that their value will decrease. What I learned is that cars are meant to be driven to their fullest. I don't think everyone should go destroy their stuff like in the video but we should at least enjoy what we work so hard for. Thank you WhistlinDiesel for always making entertaining videos that you can't find anywhere else.
Well the Skyline is not that rare. You just need to learn how to import one that follows the 25 year rule. WD 2 skylines are not the late 90s model that everyone wants. Yeah it's still a Skyline and cool but he has a early to mid 90s model. Wait till the late 90s R34 hits the 25 year law. Japan exporters cannot wait. They have fields of all models waiting for buyers in the US in a few years. A few mins of research on YT could tell you that. Tons of Skyline enthusiasts that tour Japan and show you what is waiting to be exported based on year and model.
