I have a STR 675 and it fjts me like a glove. I never do trackdays, only one long-distance riding annually. I don't ride to work on a daily basis. I mainly go daily canyon riding, 150 miles maximum. Do you think the 899 would be a proper replacement for my Triumph. You have a vast experience on those two bikes.
Foot pegs was the best mod I ever did to mine. If you ever get caught in a shower with the stock ones it’s lethal. I didn’t think that was how the EBC worked. Always thought it just raised engine revs when down shifting aggressively to stop back wheel locking up.
Another great video love your vids as I’ve said in the past I own a 959 had one problem a snapped steering damper while it was still in warranty Ducati Peterborough is my local dealer yes they said no problem 3 weeks later still no answer from them rang up a week before y warrenty ran out yes said James all good replacement here this week I’ll give you a ring to book it in heard nothing else that was dec I’ve got my steering damper fixed by a very good engineer as for Ducati Peterborough waste of time maybe because my Ducati didn’t come from them so in your vid saying that Ducati would stand by things outside the warrenty I have serious doubts about that ! Any way good to see the duc makes you smile as mine does keep up the fantastic vids, and keep safe jon.
Cheers Jon - I think like all manufacturers, support varies depending on the dealer you use. I bought mine from Ducati Croydon (excellent experience) and have it looked after by the service guys at On Yer Bike near Ayesbury - Who I must say have also treated me royally....
I toured my Ducati 848 quite a few times to europe. it's not comfortable as in a GS but the fuel range dictates you get a break fairly often. Get it on some mountain roads and you appreciate what they can do more than in most of the uk. Might be an option if you want to cover more miles on the bike this year. (not easy when you have 3)
Yes I'm defo going to try and get in some longer (100 mile plus) rides this year, normally it's a 50 mile blast and I'm done...the bike deserves better! Roll on Summer, don't like taking her out on salty roads.....
Everybody should have a gorgeous Italian bike in the garage! And an impressive stock of Becks! What about a track day series for the Ducati? That’s what it should be best at! Sports bikes can be surprisingly comfortable; except on the wrists if you’re in town for any length of time. Good vid & have a good one!
I got up and started to dance! I thought Mr Flyer was starting to combine his vlog's with a bit of beat groovin' !!!! Very nice Mr Flyer with the mods. Im the same like you, its like a drawing, one stroke too many and the whole picture changes. Very tastefully done I must say. Still keeps the Pani looking like a Pani, and not some kitted up drag queen! Mr Flyer, a word of advice, have a look at the Monster 1200 R foot pegs. They're from the Pani 1299 S & R, they came down from the Superleggera. They're milled from a block of alloy, and are the most grippiest foot pegs i've ever tried. But most importantly, they look mint ! A real work of art. The guy who designed them argued with the Ducati team to have them put on the top models below the superleggera i.e. Pani S & R, & monster R. He got his way thank goodness. They're a work of art, and i'm sure they've got them for the lil' Pani ;-) Keep groovin, groover !
Yup. It is entirely do-able. Last time I suffered a bit of 'numb-bum' on the first long day, but I've got a Ducati Performance 'Comfort Seat' to try this time, so it will be interesting to see if that helps. I'll keep you posted on what we are thinking dates wise in case you want to join Mark and I!
As a fellow 899 owner, I was really pleased that you endorsed it as a "keeper" - my thoughts exactly - despite being born a vey long time ago - i have no intention of buying another motorbike, i love it. Although, when i say not buy another motorbike, what i mean is............the 899 will still be my favourite This is Stephen Evans in Hanoi, can't figure out how to change from my daughter's account to mine.
Never did like Ducatis, then I got bored one day, took an 821 Monster for a test ride and ended up buying it!! There's a lesson to be learnt there somewhere! Lovely bike BTW - I'm with you, if you only looked at it in the garage it's still worth keeping!
Hi I've just bought a CRF250 rally after seeing you're review. Started riding again after a long layoff. I'm a expat living in Perth Australia, if you're ever in oz let me know
It’s a thing of beauty and definitely a machine I would be very proud to own....the only other Ducati that comes near it in my opinion would be the 916....stunning. As always cheers TMF 👍
Sitting in my armchair, ive never owned a bike, and at 58 3/4 probably never will, but I absolutely love these reviews. Don’t forget to take us with you when you take the Ducati out?
Ive had my 899 exactly as long as you,and im not sure what to replace it with since i really dont need a faster bike. i still have lots to learn before im able to fully exploit what the bike is capable of on a track too. So im keeping mine too :) Get new pegs.. one of the first mods i did. tank grips are also a welcome addition. other than that.. just ride it more :D
Excellent vid, TMF. I, too, enjoy just looking at my 06 Ducati ST3S even as she ages ever so gracefully. It’s such a shame to put the cover on her LOL. Such artful design. My Fatboy is a looker, too, but in such a different way. Re the dealer service bill, I’d say you were treated very fairly really. I’ve had monstrous bills for service over the years and never had a break from Ducati corporate for anything. I do most of my own wrenching now when it comes to the routine stuff and now use an independent local guy for the intricate work with zero complaints. (The dealer is 2 hours away, too!) good recovery re the sound. Loved it all. Enjoy your beautiful bike.
Don’t ever sell it! Yup one of my favorite mods was the throttle spacer too on my 1299 which was quite touchy at low speeds. I need to get out on mine more to as I’ve been spending all the weekend rides on the s1000rr. 🍻
Time for a brew...or a beer! Nice bike worth hanging onto, will go up in value. Most manufacturers will honour a % off defective parts out of warranty if vehicle is fully serviced. You do rely on the dealer to be proactive though.
Will be interested if you change your tune once you've reviewed the V4 Panigale, more likely I guess if they release a mid sized ~ 900cc version. Still loving my 959 but not getting to ride it as much as I'd like as well. Thanks for your long term review update.
After test riding the 899 PANIGALE at the motorcycle live show in Birmingham 4 years ago I promised myself I would buy one. I managed to fulfil my dream last month and I am not disappointed. I am totally in love with her. The mods I have with the bike are the termi exhausts and tail tidy. That was the minimum requirement I was looking for as well as the low mileage. I am looking forward to following your other videos in upgrading her with new mods. I have a couple of questions... What was the engine braking setting you changed to, and how did you do that? Have you adjusted any of the suspension settings? Cheers, Ash.
The Bike is of course very handsome, kinda like the riding position of the SuperSport S better, (6’3) but what I found most interesting is the copious amounts of Becks Bier on the workbench next to the Purple Dumbbells 💪🏼. I see a workout in the near future. Have fun, love your vids, don’t remember seeing a BMW Grand America review yet.
I absolutely love mine. And I completely agree with regards to the feeling you get just looking at it. I've had mine since December and I've already done more miles than you ha.
Hi TMF, I have been watching your videos for past few months. Totally impressed with way you review the bikes.Thumbs up :) Can i ask you a question though? What do you do for a living? Quite a few expensive bikes & cars. It would give us an idea in how to own multiple expensive motor bikes & cars ;)
I'm surprised that you get that many miles on the bike with all the other stuff you do, well done. May be more coffee, less sleep more riding! 😨 Just put an Oberon clutch actuator (slightly bigger piston) on my Hypermotard, has made the clutch much easier to use, machanic put another earth to battery from case and starts heaps easier too.
Really - did you have that lethargic Ducati start too then? I've noticed it on pretty much all Ducati's I've ridden so just assumed it was a "Ducati thing"...it does always start which is the main thing!
My mechanic is a bit of a Legend and told me he has done this on a lot of Ducatis he has serviced Apparently they suffer with a bad earth from the factory, I have only ever owned the one but can say that it now starts even after sitting in garage for a week or so after about one or two seconds instead of the three or four button pushes and time outs that it used to. 😁
True Scott, owned an 81' 500 Pantah many moons ago and if left for a few days the battery would drain to earth.... they all do that sir... Still, in hindsight along with a Mk11 Guzzi Le Mans one of the most characterful and best handling machines I,ve had the pleasure to own.
Got that excited crouching by the bike I can hear your heart beat 😂 Really want a panigale.. but found tingly hands riding slow when I test rode a 959... My RSV mille being 60° is much smoother...
Nice update and on 899. :D I have a question about your garage floor. (yes really). Are they tiles or is it cut from a roll? I ask because I'd like to do something similar and have been looking at different options.
Interesting....I do recall that whenever I said "yes" to the "has the bike been modified...." question from insurers (even simple stuff like adding a hugger) suddenly at least half of the insurance companies would refuse to quote via the comparison websites, meaning that choice of insurer was limited and remaining quotes were higher. Yet if modifications were not declared there are usually all sorts of dire warnings about the bike not being covered. An issue I'd like you to put to the Principal guys if /when you get round to doing a Q & A with them. Why should costs go up when doing a mod that does not affect performance and could actually protect the bike?
Hi TMF, just a quick one apart from the extortionate road tax which has been mentioned, lol ........... glad you love the old girl, not my scene personally but I've never really been a sport bike fan, each to their own eh? Anyway my question is, and feel free to make it a vlog by all means, ............ what would you feel/do if you opened your garage door one day, and found all the bikes gone? God forbid I hope it never happens to anyone but the question stands. (I had a CG125 stolen after just 8 legal days on the road, and saw it the following summer in the river 100yds from my front door!) RSM8 as always
Hi TMF, thanks for the production. Enjoying your videos since you had < 5k subs. Keep up the great work. Obviously you ride because you love riding - but has it also got to do with the fact that it is one of the closest things to flying? Cheers
Wow thanks for being with me for so long! ...and yes you are probably right, there are many similarities between biking and flying and skiing I find....
I'm sure it's my OCD kicking in, but maybe you could list the costs using a monospaced font so everything lines up nicely? lol Love these videos, I don't own any of those bikes but I tend to use your GS video as an estimate for what my S1000R will likely cost to run. (though I hope my rear shock lasts longer!)
Maybe - I just find the cost of track days (once you insure the bike) a bit prohibitive against the fun they deliver. My last track day cost me IRO £700 all in and it rained in the afternoon so I only got 3 sessions on track.....just didn't feel like good value (I could have flown to the south of France for that)......
Hi TMF, swedish dude here who keeps enjoying your videos! Today I'm riding a str3 -13 and just love it. Thinking of upgrading to a panigale (899 or 959, with aftermarket exhaust if so) or a Tuono Factory >2015... I know it's two different bikes but they both looks so sweet imo. And one more thing... is it just me or does the Panigale appear orange in this video?
Well the audio indicates that you're alive! Question! I currently own a chopper (a honda rebel 250 clone actually), and I'd like to upgrade in the future to something that actually has good enough top speed for highway use (120km/h) and overtakes (my chinese clone feels like it's going to fall apart at 100+). Seeing how I mostly use it for commuting but I also enjoy cruising with a friend, can you (or anyone else willing to chime in) recommend a good bike that is comfortable enough, cheap, has fairly good mileage (over 300kms preferably) and possibly has ABS (or the addon option). I'm currently looking at the Yamaha MT-03, but I don't know how it will fare up on a long cruising day.
What about the Versys 300? I know it's a totally different category, but it's also an alternative..... If money were no issue I'd probably go to something like a V-Strom 650 for nice off-road (my city has casual dirt roads and lots of places to take it, specially near the coastline).
Pain looks fantastic. Yet another great review. What I want to know is when are you going to neck those cheeky bottles of Becks on the bench! Keep up the great work sir!
I should have read the comments, I sat here cleaning the ear wax out thinking I was going deaf :-) love the bike TMF, is it like an Italian tank 1 forward gear and 6 reverse gears :-)!!!!!
Actually that's the sort of over-the-top blinginess I don't like, there comes a point (and I think I'm pretty much there) where more is less....but if you like 'em fine! (just not for me)...
Recently purchased my 2014 899 with just under 2k miles from its previous owner, and after riding today it exhibited an issue where the gear indicator failed to show when it was in neutral, and when in neutral it showed 1st gear and thus would kill the engine if I put the kickstand down. It clunks down to true first gear and up to 2nd but when I put it in neutral it just says it's in 1st, I also was riding it and several times when upshifting with the quickshifter it slipped out of gear instead of shifting up, then was in neutral and I had to pull the clutch and put the level into a gear to get it back. Anyone familiar with these issues?
My bike insurance is coming up for renewal so I thought Principle insurance do to the fact that's all I see when I view your videos, went on to their web site filled in the give me a call page sent it off, did anybody bother calling me? No! You wear the shirt you get the complaint. If your going to promote a company that sponsors you expect the odd complaint is all I'm saying. By the way another good video as always.
Not only that.... the old drinking problem has kicked back in or you are expecting a visit from the Crumble at the weekend 🤣. Only kidding TMF another great video my friend. Well done 👍
I know it would be a bit of work, but how about asking your insurance sponsor for a quote for the bike on its own rather than just dividing by 4 which is clearly incorrect, I hardly think the Honda 250 would cost the same to insure as the big Duke.
I like Ashall said ,....I believe the mic is picking up your heart beat LOL To my professional ears, the ol' ticker sounds steady and healthy.....but if you want to make your way over to the States I can hook you up with free Cardiac stress test ...just to be safe ;)
Lol... yes there's a sound issue.... at the end of each day I can rely on TMF to make me chuckle.... long may it last sir .... longer than the mic anyway 😂👍
To be honest TMF, I'd give my left "wotsit" to have a Panigale in my garage to be able to enjoy when I like!! So £0.94 is well worth the smile factor it gives!
Interesting calculation! Given that servicing was the largest part of that cost, the best way to bring the cost per mile down is to ride it more! How's that for an incentive :-)
I've phoned many different places and none have ever been able to provide me cover so I've just gone knowing it could get pricey. Makes it even more of an adrenaline rush! Ride Safe :)
It's still one of the best looking sport bikes ever made.
100% agreed...
Still thinking of getting one
Blew my Panigale 1299 engine 2 months after the warranty expired. Ducati has approved the goodwill claim, no issues
Good to hear - hope you get it all sorted....
It's quite a stunning looker and no one in their right mind could deny it. Love it!
Yeah me too Scott - lovely bit of design, Ducati nailed it when they came up with the Panigale....(in all it's variants)
Yes, if there are any further mods to come, then I think that's going to be it...
Cheers Steve - did you see my previous track day videos on the Duc?
TheMissendenFlyer I’d completely forgotten about that....senior moment....my apologies 😂😂
Lovely bike, I do really like the Pani even though I've never ridden one.. Sure I would love it being a big Vtwin fan!
...p'raps some day we can get you out on mine then, it's a lovely bit of kit and the 899 works really well on the road...
I could bring my blade and we could do a sport bike swap vid!
10 green bottles sitting on the bench!
May be slightly less than that now... ;0)
I have your same problem. Here are my machines.
1. 2018 Triumph Street Triple RS
2. 2018 BMW R9T Urban G/S
3. 2015 Harley Low Rider
4. 2015 Harley Ultra Limited
5. 2008 Suzuki DRZ 400
Cars:
1. 2015 Lexus RC 350 F-Sport
2. 2015 VW Golf GTI Autobahn
3. 2014 Nissan Xterra Pro-4X
See the old gs rear shock has become a wall hanger hahaha
james goodwin
like a constant reminder of a lesson learned
:-)
Exactly right...same reason that cracked lycoming cylinder is there....
TheMissendenFlyer
make an exhibition piece for tate modern
:-)
That is awesome and a great idea. “Wall of Fails.”
james goodwin perhaps it’s possible to use it for opening all the becks in the man cave.
I got up and started to dance! I thought Mr Flyer was starting to combine his vlog's with a bit of beat groovin' !!!! Very nice Mr Flyer with the mods. I'll check them out - cheers for the advice Groover!
Glad to hear you use Nigel at Mototune in Chesham. He has looked after my R1200RT for several years. Brilliant service at reasonable rates. Alan
Yes, he's a handy fella to have available...he's starred in a few of my videos too!
I think looking at it in the garage and polishing it often is probably 50% of the pleasure of owning a nice bike, certainly for me!
Sadly very true!!
Yeah that sounds like a heart beat👍👍👍🙌🙌
It reminded me off my gym class mic it happened when the battery nearly out it’s annoying but a good sign at the same time
I’m keeping mine too. Another whizz around the NC500 on it this year with the SW Motech panniers on!
Really? Is that the plan?? Liking that idea...
Yup. It is entirely do-able. Last time I suffered a bit of 'numb-bum' on the first long day, but I've got a Ducati Performance 'Comfort Seat' to try this time, so it will be interesting to see if that helps. This is Stephen Evans in Hanoi, can't figure out how to change from my daughter's account to mine.
You are clearly a very wise man Stephen....unless forced for some reason, my 899 is staying with me too....

Exactly right! Can you help me explain that to Mrs Flyer??
No.......................you're on your own with that one! I'm in enough trouble with my wife for having 3 bikes!!
Hi I've just bought a CRF250 rally after seeing you're review. Started riding again after a long layoff. I'm a expat living in Perth Australia, if you're ever in oz let me know
Thanks! I'd love to get under there one day - it's on the bucket list!
lol, mic is picking up your heartbeat...it lives!
hehe nice one...
I have a similar 899 Panigale. Just booked it in for a 9000 miles service with Nigel from Mototune based on your reviews :)
Good fella Nige....
She's beautiful, red, Italian, fast, great handling and comfortable! Maybe they'll get it right one day? Love the improvements.
Thanks Earle - personally I think they got it bang on with this one! Love my Duke...
It’s a thing of beauty and definitely a machine I would be very proud to own....the only other Ducati that comes near it in my opinion would be the 916....stunning. As always cheers TMF 👍
Thanks for watching as ever Shane!

Get new pegs.. one of the first mods i did. tank grips are also a welcome addition. other than that.. just ride it more :D
Which pegs did you get? Might have to look into that (although I've not had an issue with mine, I tend not to ride her in the wet)....

Thanks for watching and for stopping by! All the best - TMF
All your bikes suit you. Please don’t replace the triple with the lekky bike. My bike’s had its cover on since October.
Oh dear, that is sad. And don't worry, the STR is going nowhere!
Thanks for the review rich dude, super relatable.
Agreed, beautiful bike. I would never sell mine, even if I couldn’t ride! It’s like a work of art
I feel the same!
Thanks TMF, the Pani is a lovely looking machine and if I could own more than one bike it would have to be a serious contender.
Yes I am very fortunate to be able to indulge myself with a few bikes....
Will be interested if you change your tune once you've reviewed the V4 Panigale, more likely I guess if they release a mid sized ~ 900cc version. Still loving my 959 but not getting to ride it as much as I'd like as well. Thanks for your long term review update.
Indeed - stay tuned!
Id never sell mine 899 panigale.
Still got my ducati 749 aswel. There keepers lol
Great vid 👍
100% agreed!
After test riding the 899 PANIGALE at the motorcycle live show in Birmingham 4 years ago I promised myself I would buy one. I managed to fulfil my dream last month and I am not disappointed. Congratulations Ash - great bike as you know. The manual explains how to change the engine braking and no, I've not touched the suspension (yet!).....
Must get me a Ducati one day. Simply beautiful machines.
Agreed....love 'em (well most of 'em)....
The Bike is of course very handsome, kinda like the riding position of the SuperSport S better, (6’3) but what I found most interesting is the copious amounts of Becks Bier on the workbench next to the Purple Dumbbells 💪🏼. Cheers TBB - not sure if/when a Grand America review will be on the cars, would certainly like to try one of those big beasts though!
Never thought of that I’ll do it Monday👍
Do what??
Nice summary; lovely bike! Shame on you Mr TMF for not riding it more! Did we hook into your heart monitor at 3:40?
Cheers Andy - and yes you did! ;0)
I absolutely love mine. And I completely agree with regards to the feeling you get just looking at it.
I've had mine since December and I've already done more miles than you ha.
Yes I must try harder......
Another great video sir. And the first time watching on the Big Screen Smart TV! You are almost at 60K subs! Your channel is growing pretty fast!
So far so good! Liking the sound of that new TV.....enjoy...
Hi TMF, I have been watching your videos for past few months. Totally impressed with way you review the bikes.Thumbs up :) Can i ask you a question though? What do you do for a living? Either it’s picking up your heartbeat directly or are you wearing a Fitbit type thing that is interfering along with your heartbeat
Not the first to spot that!
I thought you were going to start rapping over the bass beat! Panis are lovely... if I test ride one I’d bet I’d get one!
...that's for the three year review.....
Thanks for that súper review. Would be nice to know the servicing costs (270£) what was included: oil, filter.....Cheers
Got that excited crouching by the bike I can hear your heart beat 😂
Really want a panigale.. but found tingly hands riding slow when I test rode a 959...
My RSV mille being 60° is much smoother...
Not had that issue on the 899 - the 959 is for girls!
TheMissendenFlyer ha ha.. sure... I may be going back to an IL4 end of this year.. cross plain R1 is top of my list ( 14b )... you ridden one?
Really enjoying this kind of videos!
Glad you like 'em!
You have to put a clear clutch cover on that mate haha.
Nice update and on 899. :D
I have a question about your garage floor. (yes really). Are they tiles or is it cut from a roll? I ask because I'd like to do something similar and have been looking at different options.
It comes on a roll from Costco - really good stuff, recommended!
Great vlog as usual, TMF, certainly a great looking bike. Regarding the mods you've done, did any of those affect your insurance premium?
Well I was hoping having the tracker fitted would, but sadly not, no (at least not that I'm aware)....
Of course your keeping her. I notice the GS Shock hanging on the wall, is that the duff one or the eBay jobbie as BMW gave you a new one?
That's the "duff" one - nice bit of wall-art I reckon....
Well clearly I'd be gutted and would call the Police! Thanks for watching and stopping by once again - appreciate all your support - TMF
cant wait to see your view of the panigale v4s
Yes looking forward to that - I'm waiting for the dry/warm roads first though....
I'm sure it's my OCD kicking in, but maybe you could list the costs using a monospaced font so everything lines up nicely? lol
Love these videos, I don't own any of those bikes but I tend to use your GS video as an estimate for what my S1000R will likely cost to run. (though I hope my rear shock lasts longer!)
Trust me that font drives me nuts too!
I liked the track day vid you did on this bike TMF... perhaps time for another outing?
And one more thing... is it just me or does the Panigale appear orange in this video?
...it's you :0)
Lovely bike, a future classic I think
I think so too...
Another very good video :) Keep them coming!!
Will do - cheers!
I think the MT-3 would be perfect, or in a similar capacity the Duke 390 is a hoot - or the BMW G310.....
They are well on their way to going, no need to worry (they get replenned from time to time)....
Great Vid! Glad to hear they are solid bikes!
I should have read the comments, I sat here cleaning the ear wax out thinking I was going deaf :-) love the bike TMF, is it like an Italian tank 1 forward gear and 6 reverse gears :-)!!!!!
:0)
Love how all the beer bottle labels are facing the same way 😂
That's because I've been involved in placing them there....
goo.gl/images/3BZRz6
I wonder what an amateur psychologist would make of that?
You knew they would be like that. We all love watching TMF, we probably just don’t want to live with him.
get a clear clutch cover as well, looks dope;)
Actually that's the sort of over-the-top blinginess I don't like, there comes a point (and I think I'm pretty much there) where more is less....but if you like 'em fine! (just not for me)...
Can you chops a different text and colour for the captions please? It's really difficult to read. Love the 899
I'll think about it..... :0)
Ducati help fund a new engine and parts when my mates 1199 went bang at 17k miles.
Nice one Ducati!
Should have called them David - at least you could be in with a chance of winning that free holiday then!!
Thanks for the honest review
You're welcome...hope it was of use/interest - TMF
Would love to see a few more vids of you riding the panigale, track day maybe? She's beautiful 👌
Thanks Mikee T - I hope to get more done on the Panigale this year....did you see my previous track day videos on the bike?
TheMissendenFlyer no haven't seen them🤔I will check them out thanks
Not only that.... the old drinking problem has kicked back in or you are expecting a visit from the Crumble at the weekend 🤣. Only kidding TMF another great video my friend. Well done 👍
Cheers Snarkman (hic!)
Keeping the family jewels cool next year 😋
Err, not sure I follow palantir135?
I saw you put a heat shield under your saddle to keep things cool....but maybe I need new glasses🤓
Have you got that electric bike charging nearby your camera audio setup?
Nope....this was recorded pre the Zero's arrival....
Hi TMZ and viewers. I also think I need something to tame the throttle on my vfr800fi. What can I use? Cheers Andy
'fraid I don't know Andy - my 899 fix is specific to the Panigale....
TheMissendenFlyer thanks anyway
I know it would be a bit of work, but how about asking your insurance sponsor for a quote for the bike on its own rather than just dividing by 4 which is clearly incorrect, I hardly think the Honda 250 would cost the same to insure as the big Duke.
Yes good idea - perhaps I'll do that for next time - thanks....
Such a beautiful bike!
But shouldn't there be Peroni instead of Becks? ;)
Yes you're right there - mind you my GS was parked just out of shot....
TheMissendenFlyer ah yes fair point :)
Always wanted a ducati but would be worried all the time about it getting robbed ☹️
Well that is a concern - hence having the tracker fitted....
As a first panigale should I go with a 899 or 959 which is 5k more? Much essential differences ?
I'd say save the 5K and go 899...
Good bit of Hart beat going on lol
Your heartbeat as you review the cost of owning the Italian stallion.😆
He he nice one... :0)
maybe its my laptop but the bike looks more orange than red ..
Oh crikey - not another one - must be my in garage lighting..
Hi TMF Any updates on your Harley review
Not yet - likely to be when the weather warms up a bit - stay tuned!
I like Ashall said ,....I believe the mic is picking up your heart beat LOL
To my professional ears, the ol' ticker sounds steady and healthy.....but if you want to make your way over to the States I can hook you up with free Cardiac stress test ...just to be safe ;)
Cheers for that!
Great review
Cheers as ever Jack....
Found it - thanks.
One factor you forgot in your financial calculations. Walking into the garage and seeing this bike. That has got to be worth a few quid!
Absolutely - joy of ownership....priceless...
Very nice, agree it's the best looking panigale, my old bones would suffer though 🤣
I thought that - but surprising how you get used to it
What's changing next year to let you ride your own bikes more then TMF ? Hopefully not less videos !
No, just a desire to get out and ride mine more - I bought them because they are the bikes I want to ride and ironically I'm riding other bikes more!
Great vid as always!
4 bikes i can understand ... but 3 cars ?? 😎
The 3 cars are not through choice I can assure you....
Lol... yes there's a sound issue.... at the end of each day I can rely on TMF to make me chuckle.... long may it last sir .... longer than the mic anyway 😂👍
Cheers Andy....
Was that your heart racing in aticipation of the yearly costs?! On a sidenote, it cost you 94 pence per mile to run last year!!
....best not to do those calculations I find....
205£/Year insurrance cost??!! OMG. I live In Sweden and I don't think I can get that price /month
Crikey!
Errr, who do you use for insurance then, that’s pretty good?
Principal insurance......
Any track days planned on your 899?
Not at the moment but I would like to do some more if I can get the cost (including insurance) right....
I've phoned many different places and none have ever been able to provide me cover so I've just gone knowing it could get pricey. Makes it even more of an adrenaline rush!
Ride Safe :)
Beer getting warm?
Sorry, mind wondering as sports bikes not really my thing. Ducati may have been watching your GS issues?
...I couldn't possibly comment! ;0)
I totally agree Flyer.Just teasing.😂
Great choice of beer TMF; as the saying goes... "You don't have to be Posh to swallow Becks."
Not heard that one before - good one!
