I had the same problem. My skin was also dry and using too many products changed its type. I discovered a blue tansy oil at sephora which will calm your skin down. When I used it, it drastically improved my skin and my acne slowed down. It was meant for oily skin and I have dry skin but my skin has improved since I started using oily skin products. Now I have very less scars and just period acne. I have also started using primer before putting on makeup and that has helped my skin too. Thanks for sharing your journey. I use the same face wash and it has helped me too. Keep posting.

Hey honey, I had acne as well it wasn't going until I started drinking a lot of water, stopped eating junk and also had micro derma or hydra facial once a month which helped me a lot (with the zap and blue laser)

Hey dii , I do recommend you the face and neck massage . It’ll increase the blood circulation into your whole face and decrease the chances of acne to pop out . I had been suffering from acne but after stating face massage and no applying a single product on my face . I saw the difference in acne frequency . You can use your skin care products side by side start massaging it can help. Bless you with more power and love .

I loved this vlog, I'm also having acne due to the weather in Canada... it's been few years when I have consulted to a derma and again I'm waiting to visit one.
I'm doing everything ok as I change the skin care routine according to weather change but still few acne shows up here and there.... my dermatologist has also suggested Cetaphil products but I didn't see much of a difference....

My husband had acne just like you and I just changed his routine. Asked him to use oil free products for cleaning, toning and face cream. Innisfree, Yves Rocher helps. They have specific products for each skin type and voila it’s gone. No need to use any antibiotics. Just use right skin care products and it will go in few months time. For scars, it will take a year or more to go.. v but that’s ok
Important is to cleanse, tone and provide moisture to your skin twice a day to remove any dirt from face

This is very relatable. I always thought it was an internal factor, so I quit consuming products like protein, paneer, milk (including all dairy products), and bread. I started eating healthy and watched a bunch of dermatology videos on TH-cam. I even bought serum creams and tried various other remedies, but nothing seemed to work. Finally, I decided to visit a dermatologist. After one month of following their prescribed treatment, I started seeing results. I no longer get acne like before, except during my period. My dermatologist prescribed antibiotics, Clyndaminine, Adapalene gel, sunscreen, and a cleanser. I have been using only these three products for a month, and my skin is clear.

just a suggestion that you should use korean skincare. it’s really cheap and very very effective but obviously it takes sometime. you can get that from winners which is in new westminster except that it’s not available anywhere. btw lots of love to you and fufu❤❤❤

Question about hydroquinone- it’s a topical steroid that ‘could potentially’ affect the ‘thickness’ of skin of used for long term - what did your dermatologist suggest for how long could you use it for? Only when you experience acne or forever?
Thank you so much. My derma suggested me to use hydroquinone only on my scars. Once they are gone, I will stop using it.

Hi Keerat, I wanted to share a skincare routine that has worked wonders for me in dealing with acne and acne marks. I've experienced similar issues in the past, including breakouts from an improper diet and the bad habit of scratching acne patches.
In the morning, after washing and drying your face, apply rose water by spraying it on your face and gently dabbing it into your skin with your fingers. This helps provide moisture. While your skin is still damp, apply 1-2 drops of Niacinamide Serum in a similar dabbing motion. You can also massage it upward onto your neck. When you're at home, there's no need for additional moisturizer, vitamin C, or sunscreen.
You can follow the same routine under your makeup as well, and then continue with your usual skincare products and makeup.
If you have an active acne breakout, apply a small amount of the serum directly to it.
I began this routine last year, and after three months, I noticed a visible improvement in my skin. I've been faithfully following it ever since. I recommend trying this routine for a couple of months, and I believe you'll see positive results. Thank me later!

Hi Keerat, I have been in the same situation for about 6-7 years where I went through terrible acne. I can say similar to yours. I had consulted 4-5 dermatologists as well. In such case, you should get a ultrasound done for your ovaries Bcz sometimes cyst in ovaries causes acne. I had a ovarian cyst which was actually causing acne, trust me I have tried every product and even went through laser treatments. But after I got the cyst removed, I haven’t got a single acne and no scars or what so ever. My skin is so clear like it was in my early 20s. So I suggest this for everyone going through acne. Pls do get a test done asap!

Same brand won’t be available but similar composition would probably be available on a prescription.

My skin journey has been identical to yours! I had clear skin when i was in india and as soon as i moved to canada I started getting acne n painful cysts on my face.Once I was talking to my mom on video call and I told her how painful my acne was 😢 She contacted a dermatologist from Chandigarh n i had my treatment through WhatsApp calls 😅 Nevertheless my skin has showed so much improvement in just 3 months.Like you said cutting down dairy and sugar has been so beneficial..Thankfully Im not getting any more acne !!
