In this Episode I take you through another Fake VS Real. This time we are going to be opening the 2017 It Pennywise Action figure By Neca but the difference is one is Fake and One is Real. I take you through the close up of both action figures and show the difference between the knockoff and real. From the acclaimed 2017 horror film IT, drawn from the pages of Stephen King's original novel, NECA presents the definitive version of Pennywise in action figure form!
Based on Bill Skarsgård's portrayal of the nightmare-inducing clown, this 7" scale NECA Pennywise figure has been painstakingly detailed to be as accurate to Pennywise's ornate costume as possible.

Depends on where you bought it from. If you bought it from ebay, amazon an it came from china 9/10 it's a fake. It you bought it from a store like target, dye, gamestop or a major store like that then your good. Also I dont know if these are different companies that each make there own or is it just one manufacturer. I currently just bought 2 of the same bootlegs from different places to test out the difference

@DadTookOutTheBelt ! Well, if the owner of it is a person they could've bought it from China then sold it. So I recommend you try to buy one from the store or you can try contacting the owner about where it's come from. I recommend you not to buy it if you can tell between fakes and reals, which would be the go. If he says it has came from China don't buy it. I can tell between bootlegs and stuff and so I know what to not & do buy. I recommend you try some of these solutions.

A few things to note is that the fakes tend to have darker colors then the real ones and the lines on the fake necas face were thicker then the real one

You missed a simple tell: On the Fake Box the small Copyright and TM (Trademark) Symbols are missing on the bottom of the box. Where it says "It and all related characters and elements C and TM". If they put those on, they will get into bigger legal trouble.

That's always a way to tell but with the newer ones they've been getting real close in color

you can legit tell from just the balloon itself. The real one is a shiny balloon.
His eye being cross eyed is intentional, of you watch in the movie one of his pupils will drift off to the side a bit sometimes, there's clips on youtube

With his eyes, he does that in the movie, that was one of the main things about him is that they wanted him to have a wall eye.

Yes I tell people that all the time. In order for them to be real from china they charge so much because it costs them so much for the real from my understanding. What is weird though is you would think they would get it cheaper since it is made there.

The fake ones hair is shorter. It's also more of an orange colour while the real ones hair is taller and more red.

Well, depending on the price, if you can repaint it it's actually not that bad.
Oh damn, I just got stung buying a fake one from Ebay used. But the funny thing is the box has an original price tag that came from a collectible figure store. If i pull the top half off from the bottom half, there is a Chinese word written on the connecting part.
That sucks especially when your buying a collection or something. I have been lucky when buying collections because the people I bought the collections from were authorized Neca dealers.

One seems like a read up of chapter 1 and the other seems like a read up of chapter 2. Odd

We have no neca in belgium i think we only have the small figures from it like whit 2 characters from it i got the georgie bill and pennywise and its not neca neca does not exist here

hello friend I have a doubt, and who better to ask than you, I want to know if the copies, pirate, ko, bootcats of neca, are good or shit or not?
Depends on which ones your talking about an price your talking about. Right now a lot of the newer ones are the same price as the fake version so might as well buy the fakes. But as far as quality they are getting a lot better with the fakes. I always say buy the real but the fakes are good if you find them cheaper an plan on modifying them. In my experience the fakes come from any where from great to horrible an broken so depends on what you get with them. Neca usually always comes nice but might have minor defects but I never received one broken an when buying the real an opening if you received 2 left hand type of deal neca will send you a replacement depending on the figure so that's always nice

I just bought the actual Neca Penny and the hair fell off of one of the heads. It’s no big deal because all I have to do is put it back on. It was like they didn’t put a drop of glue on that head. 🤬

Always check the feet for the NECA logo the fakes don’t have the logo
A lot of the fakes I get all have the logos on the bottom.
