Great video and will help many learning to launch and retrieve their boats, Good rule of thumb with the trailer for launch and retrieve is use the wheel guards half to 3 quarters in the water theres enough trailer in the water to drop in or put the boat on the trailer and can be seen in the mirrors of the car.
@@GetnNibz all good you had all the info just an old trick I was taught by the older fisherman teaching me as you can’t see the back end of the trailer you use the wheel arch every little bit helps and hopefully your video reaches those that need the help it’s very helpful. And for those of us with out a catch or hook for easy launch we are jelly of how easy it is for you lol
@@UnforgivenFishing cheers mate I heard that too probably should have mentioned that also. The moment I got the new boat I just started driving it on and off all the time to get better at it.
@@GetnNibz that’s it as you said practice it gets easier and doing it on skids isn’t easy getting the perfect line to keep it straight too. See a lot struggle at the ramps

You did well and I love your boat and trailer, but, being Olivers Hill, at low tide the concrete barrier at the end of the concrete ramp will not allow you to get the trailer in to deep enough water.
