Hello Sir, I wanted your suggestion. Two months back I have rescued a baby Alexzanderine parrot (looks like a male but not sure). It just entered my house due to a predator attack. After one month, we kept him in an open place but it didn't fly. We took proper care for 2 months. Now he has learned to fly and roams in the entire house. We feel like he should be left free as he has the entire sky to fly. AIso is it safe to directly leave him or is there any proper way to release him? Or should we keep him with ourselves?

I would never recommend to take your parrot to a normal pet,bcos they dont have practical experience in dealing with birds, especially exotic parrots .I had an african which was 7 month old when i purchased it,it got a bout of diarrhea and i took him to a normal vet as I couldn't find an avian vet in my city.The horrible doctor give him a heavy dose of antibiotics and he died the next day.Its better to take help from people who breed and care birds as they know more.
