This was Surrey Settings' 2nd meet, once again at Farnborough Bowl. However this time, the Surrey Police used a different way to control the meet, by joining in themselves!

The funny thing is, if that police 5 series is a 535d it's probably quicker than some of the cars there, with a 0-60 time of ~5s.
Yeah it sounds weird to say but diesel German cars tend to be mad quick with the right size engine. My dad has an X3 30d which is by no means supposed to be sporty, but doesn 0-60 in under 6 secs
@@robinthebobin6537 A 335d/435d will do 0-60 in less than 5s stock. Remapped they're rediculously quick.
It’s a 530d, does it in about 5.3 seconds. They didn’t do a 535d of this new 5 series

@Hugh Mungus its bullshit thats what it is... Basicallt if youre caught in a car meet or car cruising you get a s59 warning.(no way to apeal). If you are issued a section 59 again within 1year since your last your car gets seized and you go to court. You cpuld get a ban with unlikited fine or even a prison sentence. Its absolutely killed the car culture here in west midlands.
@@YN-io6kj Unfortunately WMP had to take action because of repeated complaints from residents. Previous attempts at engagement failed and antisocial driving continued. The dickheads in the car community ruined it for everyone else by being unable to actually behave.

This is how the police should always attend car meets. It gives them a visible presence & allows them to control it, but puts everyone else at ease
If you are not bellends at meets, the Police can be pretty cool. As soon as idiots appear, the traffic cops go into beast mode and that's not fun for anyone.

Its people doing silly stuff on the public road which gets them in trouble.

You can just see their heads bopping to some classic Eurobeat and pretend they are doing a scene for a live action film about a Tofu driver, so they got to show of their leet skills, by smacking a curb with one of their wheels, while one wheel is spinning, as they already blew up their welded diff earlier that week. Of course they have M3 Evo wing mirrors fitted to their car, and an eBay special M3 badge
For the meets that come to mind with me, you see a Focus-ST, that's got either twin or quad exhausts with a Mantune sticker on the windscreen and knockoff (fake) Focus RS decals/stickers. It's normally got counterfeit Bilstein B4's (they are too cheap to even buy counterfeits of the good Bilstein's), wheels that belong on the cover of Max-Power in the 90's and of course they have anti-lag, not knowing what it's really used for!
The the final member of the tri-fector of "You're car meet is now fucked over" Is your Mk3 Golf, rocking Porsche 944 wheels and a sound system so powerful it belongs as a member state of NATO, naturally blasting out dubstep, that is playing off a CDR, that keeps skipping due to the vibrations coming from rear hatch/boot, that has a worn out lock.
For the last 14 or so years I've been going to car shows/meets, I've mainly owned BMW's , so have experienced two of the three cars of doom. There used to be a pretty cool German car show called Deutscher Club (I use to have an E30 Alpina C2 2.5 at the time) and I remember when the "VAG" boys would turn up and it just baffled me so much, why they did what they did to their cars or what part was meant to be cool. Oh and the amount of SEAT's that were present at any German car show or meet would outnumber any of marque!
@@BlatentlyFakeName When I use to help out with a club that my local car buddies started, I would typically be the one to talk with the police officers, and what would normally be a problem was the noise levels that caused the most trouble.
What always gave me a glimmer of faith in humanity, was whenever a twat would do a burnouts or try drifting in the carpark, they soon found themselves surrounded by 50 to 100 really royally fucked off people, as it would almost certainly get a meets shutdown or worse, cause the police to close all routes in and out the car park, with flatbeds on their way to collect as many illegal cars as possible.

20:20 Someone's probably already answered but the elephant came about from an construction/engineering company that used to occupy that site. In the 60's (I think, not 100% sure) there was a show in London organised by someone who was also involved in the engineering company so the engineering company created the Camberley entry into the show. They built the elephant out of concrete piping and then, after the show, put it in their front yard where it still sits today.
