The most clear tutorial I have watched, and encouraged me to try myself to make a prayer rope. Thank you and God bless you!🙏🏽

I am going to try this technique, ive been trying the more common 2 string knot, but because i want to use wool, its very difficult to tighten the knot, as well as complete the final stage in the two string process. This 4 string method seems like it may be better for me.

Can someone tell me how to keep the knots close together like he did in the video? Everytime i tighten a knot it just slides away from the previous one

What helps me is to slowly pull the knot closer together while tightening it! So instead of pulling it very tight together all at once, gradually pulling it together and towards the knot!

Veoma nerazumljivo.

Beautiful work and thank you for share but i find it shameful that the christian faith is STILL laying claim to things that were have previous history in other cultures. Its ok that a cristian from long ago borrowed something from another culture but give credit where credits due and dont claim it as youre own because its not. Blessed Be

The Coptic Egyptians. The native indigenous made these with wool coated in beeswax. Not Arabs but Coptic Christians. They then spread through the orthodox church... the original church, two thousand years ago.

Fun fact, multiple cultures use symbolism from other cultures, intentional or not.
