Im always surprised that this is automatically considered a bad thing by some. If nobody paid, the game would cease to exist.
I also came back after light speed bundles so far I agree the cadence is too quick but they are timing out nicely for me. I will be sorting out my cls team for JML once I've finished current farms and can see myself being pissed off when the cls pack comes out which it will eventually. It leaves you in a weird position of do I just focus on the raid and wait rather then do what I think is the best thing.

I came back with LSBs. It's been fun to be mildly competitive within a few months.
Also the zeta argument - if someone offered me a corvette for $1000, im not going to turn it down because it has no gas. Im going to go get gas when i can, not say "no thank you though, it's useless without gas"
This is perfectly framed for my thinking as well. Tired of hearing all these guys say these characters are useless from the bundles without all the modding and zetas. I’m more than happy to have them ready to build while I focus on farming other things.

I think Phat Phil had a good point that they are releasing all these catch up mechanics because CG wants people to be feeling Bo and Jar Jar and whatever next newest thing they come out with. Love the video I follow all three of you pretty closely so it’s great to see all of you in the same video discussing things.
I think the consensus answer is if CG is going to keep doing LSBs they should have a road map for releases. The feeling of wasted effort is what is upsetting players.
Yes! Lightspeed bundles are definitely a good thing but this right here can instantly ruin them. Imo they can double the price for LS bundles proving we get a roadmap of what is coming so we don't end uo wasting our time.
Yep. Finished my night sister team last month and got them all to relic 3. So many materials could’ve been saved
I specifically like the night sister and “C-3PO” bundles because I wouldn’t want to spend time farming either of those factions
Veteran players are out here buying Gungans & Mandos, or have a history of prior spending, but somehow actively criticize LSB packs for new/returning players.

The problem is the new accounts that dont or cant spend money will be left even further in the dust.The Whales can fight other Whales, which dont impact 90% of the community. Im all for the LSB but i think they are just too powerful right now. You can unlock 7star Negotiator + decent squad for 50bucks.
Veteran players criticize what it does to the game if people don't actually do the fun stuff, the grind and the results you get, and just go streight to the late mid game and then realise that the game is not fun for them as they can not make the same progress you made before
And as you mentioned Songeta at the end. As far as I am aware from watching him for almost a year now, he never spent on that account. Don't judge him by his gp or his relics. He is a long term grinder who had fun at doing that
@hotepra2661 fun is experiencing the new content that is advertised, not being locked behind years of journey prerequisites for characters released over half a decade ago.
Veteran players should be happy LSB are breathing life and bringing new/returning players into this game, I don't see why you would think this is bad but to each their own.
Also, and this is a key point, my mention of Songeta is referencing his overall negativity in this video towards LSB, which feels unwelcoming to newer folks. Not his spending habits or skill. I'm sure he's a great player, but that's irrespective of what was said.
I got back into swgoh because lotr home died, and lots of people were talking about swgoh…but the hypertrophied and lsb are what hooked me
Love how they just complain about lightspeed bundle but give no options of how to fix the early game. It’s crazy that they don’t think having to spend get 2 for a year and half to get the 4th and 5th best fleet in the game is okay!

I took a 3-4 year break from the game and came back last year about 3 months before the light speed bundles first showed up. Definitely helped me catch up. Went from about 1.5 million GP and no GLs to right now I’m at almost 5 million GP and 2 GLs and almost the executor. For my account it’s been a big help catching back up
Which imo is a problem. Punishing the people playing the game and not wanting to spend money. The LSB are way to powerful. 10bucks to almost unlock Rey and SLKR is crazy. Now you can unlock 7 star Negotiator at the cost of 50buccks.
edit: I also bought the SKLR bundle and the amount power i got from it once i unlocked SKLR was night a day. Went from Carbonite to Chrom 1 in just a few GAC.
What every LightSpeed Bundle has pointed out to me is that there is always more to work on. I had taken breaks in the game and avoided the Hyperspace bundle. I had no galactic legends, and it was rough finding anyone that I could even compete with. Every challenge you sought help the advice was get this specific team, with these specific mods and then pray they haven't changed something in the last few years to make it even harder than the requirements reflect. They made Jabba a requirement for a event with good rewards, and have it reoccurring. Getting Jabba is a pain in the butt, but I've been working that way. Was just getting to the point of JKLS, and the first light speed bundles show up. Never had a thought of working on first order, resistance, or Star Killer.... so hell yeah, I bought them all. Got SLKR to where he should be only in the last month or so (took a long time).
I need to gear up StarKiller, but then I would need to finish out and gear up a team to go with him. Need to finish up BB-8, and Training Rey so I can get Rey.
Somewhere during all of that, the next set of Lightspeed bundles show up. I already had Thrawn but my phoenix squad was pathetic, so I took the easy out and got them to Relic levels. Guess I should have saved that money since I've not finished out Commander Rex.
Need to finish out Piett to get started on Executor. Wait, why haven't I finished gearing out Darth Traya, Darth Nihulus, and Darth Sion since they're fully stared... My clan leader said everyone one should stop all other work, and work on their Geonosians to get them all to relic and I only had two of them there. Meanwhile, why haven't I finished the Jabba requirements yet, I had all of this time, and that was what I'm working towards, right?
Last round of Lightspeed bundles show up. Hot damn, finishing Geonosians with a purchase, yes please. Nightsisters, sure sounds good... wait a min, they're not that great without Merrin, and I don't have her finished yet... Oh, GAS, lots of dupes I already have, but it will finish the Negotiator I needed the last star on. Start the GAS event, oh heck, now I have to throw everything at finishing out Padme Amidala.
Other characters I am told I need a Vandor Chewbacca for the Dash team, Zorii Bliss for the Resistance, and Threepio & Chewie for my CLS team. Meanwhile I have this JKLS that I don't really have a good team for. I never got my Bastila Shan to Relic. My Johani still isn't relic. I'm adding relic levels for Threepio for Jabba requirements, and C3PO doesn't feel useful. My Qui-GonJinn seems awesome, but isn't geared past 11 yet.
It's all so frustrating. No matter what you do, you feel like your teams suck. I guess I should completely abandon the big farm for Jabba, and focus on the non-main characters that supplement the big teams. I also hate how I see old videos where people do events and they go easy for them with sub-par teams. No event in this game has ever gone easy for me without a overpowered team. I guess you either spend your time overpowering a event, or spend the time waiting for the RNG to go your way.
I didn't by the ewok bundle because I had 2 ewoks at relic already, and without the new pincess K ewok, what is the point. I had C3PO already, after many, many tries. I also didn't buy the Amidala bundle since I already had her and I didn't feel like spending the money for it.
I have no real issue with the bundles. The game is pretty overwhelming most days. I usually only look at the game 30-45 mins in the mornings and it feels like I will never be a power player. I'll never buy one of the packs where you get 3-300 character shards so if they are looking for money from me, the lightspeed bundles are the way to go.
Future LS bundles could be Jawas, Sandpeople, Wookies, Inquistors (I know to soon).
I had all g12 and 2 R2 FO and zetas. Got the bundle. Used Rabids guide and while grinding through i saved everything to R7 SLKR hes gotten me through hard Conquest.THAT alone made it worth it
One of the biggest things about LSB that I don’t see much conversation around is content that is NOT PvP. I appreciate you letting all of us know we have no chance against your properly built roster, but I have the most fun in conquest. Having more tools in the box is fun.
There was a lot covered, but I think, "Why these bundles?" was brought up. I would put money on the idea that this group of bundles coincides with Disney celebrating the 25h anniversary of the release of Phantom Menace and the establishment of the Galactic Republic/Separatist era. While Nightsisters may not have been in the movies, they were introduced through Clone Wars series, and the Ewoks are a "bonus" bundle to pair with the GAS bundle due to 3PO.
While I get there is a lot of division over the inclusion of Negotiator (reasonably so), I would be interested to know if it has been included as either a special event inclusion to coincide with the anniversary celebration, if CG is doing a marketing experiment, or possibly both. My guess is it may be included more for the sake of the celebration, but the resulting sales data and discussions will help with future planning.
As for the general presence of LSBs, they're pretty much necessary for this type of game that has been around for as long as it has been. It's intimidating to see a new player guide mention things like, "one to two year plan", which is likely to result in less spending from newer players. Providing significant roster boosts at affordable costs is more likely to entice moderate spending from those who might otherwise have decided on simply being free to play casual players.
I am a fanboy for LSB's! They have massively improved my account. I still would not have Rey or resistance with out LSB's and probably not for 4 yrs. I have farmed Negotiator the hard way with GET 2, am I bitter because a load of players are going to get it at 7*, no not at all, I am happy for them and the time they saved.

Hearing beaver say he didn't think they would do a gas bundle, when I've been predicting one at this exact pricing since the original bundles dropped. Feeling like I'm kinda smart.
I feel a sense of progress completing the unlocks and teams that I'm getting from lsb. I got the Rey bundle last fall and I only unlocked her last week. These bundles don't just put the thing in your hand without you working on it.
You could always pay to get ahead, this just lowers the cost from $20k to $200. Are people only now learning that you can pay to get ahead?
100% agree with this, it just wasn’t feasible for non mega whales. Now it’s a reasonable cost to round out your roster, I’m all for it.
Yeah but many people paying little amounts means much worse time for the people who can't or shouldn't spend that much money on a game. I'm still buying them, but I understand.
I'm not a fan.. I bought them and now im back to just mindless grinds.. I miss the fun of strategic farming and the joy of finally getting the farm done.

Songeta says “I’m being called an elitist but I’m not afraid of your 70 speed mods, I think it ruins the game for newer players”. Looking through this comment section, most newer or returning players seem happy.
Plus people who spend hundreds or thousands can get super strong super fast. Now people with 20 bucks can get some solid teams.
Yeah becaause Songeta is actually a good player and he can't understand undestand that there are so many horrible players out there that are bullying new players in the lower ranks and gatekeeping the ability to grow.
It's not secret I'm kinda critical on the new LSB was well. While I think its great to have the LSB, I really wish CG would have a roadmap for them so you know how often they come and even what are or might be the next ones so you can plan your farm goals accordingly (if you are willing to spend money).
It just sucks to farm for weeks and when you are done or almost done and boom LSB - you could just pay 15 bucks and get them from zero shards to relic 3. So if you focussed on something different to farm this would be a absolute win. If you gearing them, you could have saved tons of raid currency/energy (=time!) for different things and it feels like you just wasted this past weeks in game.

some really interesting thoughts. Personally I am a big fan of them on my 7.5m main and it lets me keep pushing the new content without having to worry about going back. I have resources and mods ready. my 4.5m alt struggles greatly as I am behind on zetas, omegas, mods. the bundles feel crazy overwhelming for that account and like it is hard to keep up even when I am not chasing new things on that account. haven't even finished fleshing out all the previous LSB on the alt yet.
Excellent video Nooch! Interesting debate with other creators on a relevant topic in the game. Definitely makes you think about what is going on in the game. Great video! I appreciate all the perspectives. The LSB have been great for me, a time saver and a hole plugger in my rosters. I am in mid-game 7.6Mill GP two GLs, SLKR and Jabba... working on the third, Luke about a month away from getting him. I have these almost complete squads and the LS bundles are completing my squads. I will be getting the Padme and Geo bundle the entire Separatist faction.
**Had me thinking about the next GL too....Darth Tyranus? Will he require Separatist in the prerequisities? Maybe? ** if so TY LSB!
Also, these bundles for me are a paradigm shift in how I play...I no longer look at the game for just a PVP, GAC, where content creators and end game players have a primary focus. Rightfully so, everyone loves a good fight and GAC is where the shards are, but I see how these plug my roster to also do better with Conquest, Solo Events and Guild Event, not the funniest part of the game, but helps get to the end game.
I think a good way to go for the future is release one set a year and then bring them back out a few times throughout that year.
The reality is, it's impossible for F2P players to get to endgame content and because the goalposts keep moving, they never will. These lightspeed bundles are somewhat a quick fix, but doesn't solve the problem for players. It does, however, make a ton of money.
In an ideal world, they would make the new and early game farming sped up dramatically. This would enable players to catch up faster than the game progresses, while allowing older players to stay ahead. It would also mean that people don't feel they wasted months on a farm.
They just need to communicate. Give a hint at what they are going to do next. There is a fear that I will farm something for the next 5 months and be given it in October.
Tell us if the old packs are gone or coming back. Tell us their general target in the future (faction maybe).

Bought Rey and SLKR LSB. Factions that I was’t going to get but are fun to play with. Slowed some of my other farms down because I pivoted. Still had great sense of satisfaction because I had to gear up a few R7, learn the teams, farm zetas and omegas, farm mods, farm Zorii, etc. Still took months to finish these teams. Also helped my ships and made them more interesting.
Nooch got it to a tea with why I came back. Left during the Revan meta but came back at Christmas with the last drop of light speed bundles. Managed to get kylo and Rey but not sure I’m going to buy any of the new bundles
I like the light speed bundles and like I have only bought a few not all as I was already farming some but it has really helped me keep playing I feel like I would have stopped playing because I was stuck in carbonite, with these bundles I was able to break out and play more competitively also these characters have helped me to farm regular teams, and if they release a revan pack so be it I’m still gonna have mine which might be less but my mods will be better so either way it helps to buy or not to buy

I like the ls bundles in theory (to be fair I started in January this year so getting a big boost really impactful) I picked up the radus and finaliser bundles along with shadows. Regretted later not going for star killer as looks really fun. I admit my biggest disappointment with my early purchase that I was still far away from actually getting the capital ships as only today have I finally been able to 7 star home one (and this chimera). I'm really excited for ewoks (was going to have to farm them as working on jkl) and night sisters (wanted them for assault battles). Not upset for geos even though I farmed them their a fun team with some easy weakness to exploit. Will pick up gas for negotiator and that I always feel like using dark side teams and negotiator. I do think the fleet issues is a concern but I think some of that is how small the pool of fleets is ( everyone getting hound Tooth was frustrating as now my fleet tends to be hound Tooth and everything I have that counters hound Tooth). Also with every ship feeling like it takes an age to grind I can understand people frustrations. I would like to see them release a rogue squadron fleet that some how sacrifices the capital for a fighter squadron of X wings but doubt it will happen.
In response to your question on how to fix it. In order to help the free to players accelerate ships and double drop kyros.
Ship farming is miserable. Especially when I didn’t realize they were very important until I came back from the game a third time and really tried to understand where the most value was.
I have been off and on for a few years now and still don’t have a 7* capital ship (I will Saturday though!). I didn’t find space battles as enjoyable as arena and character based gameplay so I didn’t spend much effort farming ships….only to realize I screwed my self….until LBS’s came out.
I think the big thing you guys just don’t have the perspective to see is that 90% of players aren’t “new ftp accounts” or end game. The game used to start at lvl 85, HBD helped people get there, now the game starts at 4m, LSBs help you get there, and they help everyone in the 4-10m range grab teams they don’t have the time to farm because otherwise we could just literally never have everything we want. Songeta is just really mad about negotiator
I played the game at the very beginning, but stopped playing when mods came out cause i ran out of storage on my phone. Came back as soon as Revan was released but realized that i couldnt compete since my account didnt have any meta characters, no understanding of mods, and no clue about team building. The characters i had werent even strong enough to progress through the normal PvE battles. When LSB came out it gave me a chance to really break the plateau i felt from my account and truly enjoy the game. Although i am salty because geos and nightsisters are the factions i just finished sharding for lol
I personally love the lightspeed bundles, i think they should target more bundles for dead end farms, like nightsisters, geos, starkiller, and things like FO, which only leads to SLKR
Broo i like the ewok bundle. I got the major zetas on them and even invested the trash omicron and i need 37 shard and i unlocked kneesa, so thats gonna be really nice for me

My friend forgot back into the game cause of me. He bought the HDB, then a few light speeds and now he’s quit a few months later. No LS2P has enough time to round out their LSB farms before there’s new ones and they have to start farming new teams
I really don't get the satisfaction argument. I try and take other viewpoints into account but having farmed things from LSBs and regularly - I have no difference in feeling. I want the thing, I get the thing.
I think the devs have put thought into it because even buying the bundles you still have to put in work for your team be effective.
Yes, but not much work. Negotiator takes 7months-12months alone. Now you can unlock it with 50$ with a whole lot of other farm thats takes months. My problem is this game is turning more into pay to win. Imo LSB should cost way more because they cut down on months of farming and get what you want immediately.

@@Hello-sw3en 7-12 month grinding is a problem in and of itself. The game shouldn’t just appeal to those would want to do the same thing over and over for an entire year…to finally unlock a team to THEN be able to enjoy another aspect of the game.
If the majority of the game is made up of hitting a couple buttons and hope you get more than a couple shards to unlock a character….then to do that 5 more times to have a full team. Then do that five thousand more times to get them all geared and zetas…the fam base would be tiny because to most that isn’t fun.
What is fun is having a multitude of competitive teams that allow you to play every guild event/raid and contribute, be somewhat competitive in GAC, play all of the events.
It’s using the characters and teams in a way that contributes to guild goals and competitive play thats fun. Not waiting around for 6-12 months just to unlock the characters.
@@Briathos1 The LSB itself isnt the problem it's the frequency and the amount you get for such a low price. imagine you have been farming for months to get a fleet running that carries you to top 50 and all of sudden this LSB drops and many people get 7 star negotiator and pushed back to 200-400 rank. you should not be punished for playing the game and not wanting to spend money. This just forces people that play the game to spend money as they feel like they got punished for not spending money. Look, CG knows that many of their players hate the grind which they fixed by dropping these lsb ($10 to get 95% of a GL) . They created a problem just to solve it. Soon many will not farm because in a couple months a Revan/Darth Revan or SEE bundle or Dr Alphra might drop. I think the 15bucks geo as they are old team that dont really give a account a massive advantage, which is a nice balanced.Bbut a 7 star negotiator that is suppose be only unlocked through guild token is extremely bad for the game. I am by no means blaming the people that are buying it, but CG has created something to generate easy revenue but at the cost of fairness and intergerity of the game. This is exactly what i expect from a MMO pay to win game. Not a turn based game.
I can certainly see their points but for a player like myself, I’m not always able to put in the time to farm. I’ve been playing a year and I’m just about to finally get a 7 star capital ship. Realistically, I should have completed that many months ago.
I feel like CG is actively trying to stop me from playing again. I'm a returning player from 2016. Coming back to relics was a shock, but doable. But the new free to play account I created is getting kicked in the teeth constantly by CG. My very first territory the game breaks, no past record, no rewards. Now I've barely stayed in to 50 fleets and negotiator is gonna come in and destroy any chance it's have of top 50 till the account is at least 85.... sigh
I'd have to say it's definitely affecting my farms. I have wanted to do the Revans for awhile and can't bring myself to just because of the LS bundles. That being said I still have core teams that need to be done too 🤷🏼🤷🏼🤷🏼
The thing that stuck out to me watching this video is the lack of empathy from Songeta......The Elitist rant starting at minute 7 really kinda hit me wrong. One thing lost in the knowledge of an experienced Gamer that starts over compared to a new intro that has no knowledge of this game is a gap of monumental proportions. To say you understand how a new gamer will go about a new account is kidding yourself. Hindsight is 20/20 and the ability for a new gamer to right wrongs with a LSB pack is huge, and we should be celebrating it. Who cares how it changes farming. Worry about your own account and how it changes your quests. You actually hit upon it a little bit later when you mentioned a 4Million account with no relics..........no two gamers are alike, and the LSB just introduce another possible path.

...Because I WANT R3 Ewoks! On a serious note, I'm of two minds. I just starting playing in January and I bough the first LSB's. It's really fun having awesome characters, but I feel I'm missing the feeling of completing farms and upgrades myself. Also, I feel that if I didn't get the LSB's I would be way behind.
People have been saying the game is gonna die for a long time now. Look back with the Revan Meta, GAS, or JKL. The game was not at a healthy state and a lot of people (including myself) quit during that time. One thing to consider with these LSB, is that they could be introducing a new gear economy potentially. Maybe a relic 10
can we do this again with darth loquitor and gerbil? :)

For squads like geos and nightsisters I think they're great! They save so much time! My concern is they're going to bring them out for big characters. I've always been an avid fifa player until it got ruined by micro-transactions and I'm concerned it's heading in that direction. Once EA get a sniff of money it starts to head downhill if they're not careful
My old account got hacked and deleted right before the time of the LSB’s and I would have quit for good if it wasn’t for the LSB’s

So long as they make a set time rule then i think they're good, as they allow early players to get some journys done faster. But we need more clarity and fixed rules.
Dumb question. I have all the characters for GAS at 7 stars But no relics. Just missing gear. Will the lightspeed bundle mess anything up?

This is a perfect catch-up mechanic. They are targeted at players like me. I want to play at the highest level of the game and if I have to wait 5-8 years to get there I would take my money to a different game. You need players like me to keep this game alive long term. I’ll spend thousands. And keep spending as long as I can be competitive. I get that for the free to play long time players they now have competition when they didn’t have it before. But they aren’t the ones that will keep the game going… no spending is the death of the game
I would’ve quit if not for the first release of lsb. I’m now well committed and enjoying it way more
My biggest issue is with the Negotiator being included. I’m a new player, only a couple of months in. Everyone was saying to rush the Executor. I watched Songeta and he made a ton of sense on why going for Negotiator first instead was viable. I thought that would be great and a lot more interesting to take a different route than all of the other new players that may also be beneficial. Now all of those people rushing Executor, can just drop $50 and have the Negotiator AND way more progress toward Executor. It’s just a really bad feeling.
I like Bundles TBH, the values of these Bundles are so much better than things I got When I First Played this game (I quit this game when Lightspeed bundle first came into this game.)
great points, i do agree that farming is the most rewarding part of the game. personally i farmed aphra early and i love her as a toon. couldnt imagine if they drop a aphra bundle just to make money and ruin the whole aspect of the game.
Actually hope they made one since is farm that has not impact on GL and her requirement are not needed for any other journey so is character you get very lte but is fun one
I do not understand this arguement at all. Why would a Aphra LSB effect you? Have you not enjoyed having Aphra? I mean you will probably have had the team a year or more before any LSB and if it ever did come out it would be a $50 one, so you saved yourself $50.
@@meglobob9217 well i was saying that the light speed bundles takes the fun of farming out the game. It’s not rewarding at all to go for characters you love because you can just buy them outright. In my opinion of course I think swgohs fun is from farming and building your roster overtime.
Yeah….there are those of us that think farming is really boring. I had been trying to farm Bossk and hounds tooth and it was so demoralizing with the drop rate. I couldn’t believe he was part of the LSB. Farming is seen as a means of not enjoying the game. Not part of the fun. I want to play and be competitive at every nook and cranny of the game…not see stuff come up and realize I can’t take part in it.
I'm only 9 min. into the video so far but I really believe these 2 guys don't understand what it is like to start a new account with no knowledge of how to farm correctly. It seems like this is their thinking: "It should only take a year to farm THIS THING." In reality, for a truly new person like me it is: "It will take me 2 years to farm THIS THING."
The bundles for me are the only reason I'm still playing. I enjoy shiny things and being able to do different things in the game, grow with my guild and help out. It is catching people up with end game players. No one thinks this will bring everyone to the same page as them, but it seems they are offended that people don't have to put in the work they did on their main accounts.
Like a person talking about "back in my day, we had to walk to school barefoot, in the snow, uphill both ways. These kids don't know how good they have it."
I now have a ton of characters I can do something with, even if they aren't really good or meta teams. Also, it has made me watch 1000 times more videos than I did before. That helps the content creators.
For me personally they made me feel like I waisted time. I feel defeated. I’ve been farming GAS from day 1. And now I feel like what’s the point.
I was FTP for over a year and was already looking for a way to pay CG when the LSBs came out. I'd played the heck out of the game and really enjoyed it, I felt they earned it. I got all the LSBs. I'd already 7* all the FO but one and had just 7* Bossk and Hound's Tooth, so it was bittersweet to go through all the effort to farm these characters only to not need it in the end. It did save me a lot not having to relic them, which is why I ended up getting them. I'll continue to support CG by occasionally buying relic mats or kyrotech, but I don't think I'll buy another LSB. I'm not that competitive and I enjoy the game more when I farm the characters. It'll take longer and I'll always be behind, but I'm OK with that. As for my opinion, I think it's too much, too often.
Considering now that Sorcerer arena shut down, i guess lightspeed bundles are necessary to inject fresh blood in Swgoh and avoid a similar fate
The main point of LSB is to keep the new player base invested. Only streamers and die hard players keep playing this game for years on end. The average consumer probably plays for 6 months tops. So in order to keep them invested long term as well attract new players, they drops LSB’s every couple of months.
Also, from a business perspective quarterly profits “prove” your current business model is working so if they’re consistently generating income during those times they can justify it.
I do think they should lower the total relics they give out though. It is a bit too much.
LSB been great for me. More competitive in conquest. More teams to play with in GAC and TW. Higher GP helps my guild. More GLs gets me more rewards. Wasn’t going to go after Rey or SLKR forever anyway.
I got a buddy of mine into the game came in bought hyper drive bought all the lightspeed but quit when he had to farm mods..
Light speed bundles are the best thing CG ever created
I think maybe once a GL or Journey is out for 3+years and farming is down for it, it'll be a good time for a LSB to be released.

I started a year and a half ago lsb help us catchup a bit.
40/100 on Negotiator. Have enough currency for 20 more. I started about a year ago and have poured every GET token into it. Farmed all the galactic republic ships up. And now I'm *still* going to likely pay 50$ to save 60 get 2 tokens, get a relic 3 Plo Koon (like I was ever going to relic him otherwise) and avoid having to take time off from the Marauder Bad Batch kyro pit to farm up Shaak Ti for the event. I think they know what they are doing with these. Even if you've farmed them up, the extra relic levels are hard to turn down.
Im fairly competitive, started in 2020 and am now at 10.7 mil (ive spent a fair few dollars but not a crazy amount each month) im so caught up with efficiency and performance i never farmed geos or ns past g12. I like these bundles because i can have those "fun" teams without sacrificing my thirst for a higher gac ranking. I had no resistance characters with zetas and only a relic jtr so i actually started farming ns, just g13 daka, talzin and merrin. Im not hurt i now "lost value". Im gaining value in the other characters and saving like a month of farming time. Big fan - wont buy a $50 pack though, too rich for one thing to me lately

I think the sooner newer players realize they will NEVER catch up to late-game/end-game players, the better off their experience will be. LSB will not change that fact. It may push players a bit closer, but it will they are not actually "catching up" by any means. In my opinion, I think LSBs have done more harm than good to the SWGOH community when I look at it from a long-term perspective. Sure, everyone is happy when they get a bunch of relic characters, but that satisfaction immediately evaporates once they realize they don't have the zetas, mods, and relic materials to finish off the team. I don't understand why some players don't realize that end game players still play the game even though they have mostly everything.
While a newer player is doing a crystal refresh, an end-game player is doing the same and some.
ONLY true way for someone to catch up with an end-game player is if a new player buys an account that is already at end-game status and he or she continues to play as if they had been for the years it took for that account to build up. Ultimately, I understand there are competitive aspects of the game, but hyper-focusing on that aspect is just going to cause frustration, which leads to people quitting the game eventually.
I don’t think you realize how boring and tedious the early game experience is. getting thrown in mid game is not bad you almost immediately get to the fun point

I don't think any player should enter this game with the mindset of how fast can I get everything. If you can learn to play at your own pace and understand that everything will come with due time, then you will overall enjoy the game more. The point of the game is not to outspeed everyone else in roster building - the point of the game is collect the characters you love from the franchise and just have fun in the process.
It does suck that progress is slow and steady, but anything that is worth something will take time, dedication, and effort to get.
@@keithutz9588 I would say your logic definitely applies to a lot of things in life. As a husband and dad of 2 boys…I don’t play this game to spend 4-12 months of farming crap.
I want to have every aspect of the game playable and at a somewhat competitive level. Especially being able to contribute in guild activities.
For some, the fun is in the farming and slowly unlocking things. For others, it’s not being locked out of an aspect of the game. Don’t got time to wait around and unlock a 5 man time for 8 months. Just want to play with the teams.
I think it's more tourchring for old players, they invested time in farming and with LSB's, new player just jump in and catching up for few bucks ..
@@manishparmar3946 but think of the new players who come in and realize how big the gap between them and mid game player never mind the late game and the LSB gives almost two years of work honestly if they didn’t sell the negotiator I don’t think that many people would be upset also if they don’t go for anything after SK then there really isn’t much left to sell
I'm f2p following nooch plan on geos and just got to where I am getting daily crystals in fleet for a little over a week... guess that dream is over. I agree with sangeta... I'm even beating hyperdrives now... but how do I beat 7* negotiations? I'm level 80 I haven't even had access to by shafs of malevolence yet. At least I would gave a chance against Endurance.
Farming is not fun. I don’t enjoy waiting around to farm characters and playing every aspect of the game. I want be competitive and not be stuck or see events come around I can’t play. I want to be able to contribute to the guild and see a team I am 6 months away from farming/leveling up, modding and adding zetas. People can disagree but for those that don’t want to sit on their hands farming 3 or 4 shards for Crex a day.
I agree with Songeta in thaat most people aren't able to see things outside of their own bubble. My kid is almost entirely free to play (he won a Star Wars Dad LSB giveaway), and every time more of these release, he gets beyond frustrated. 7 star Negotiator is just ridiculous. I'm pretty sure I'm in the tiny minority on this, but I think they just trivialize so much work that so many people have put in. I don't care if people catch up or pass me, but the fact that they can just do so mostly just buying it, not having to put any of that work in is just kind of a bummer. I do think it's bringing people in or back moreso than making people give up, but how long are people gonna stick around when the quick fixes are gone and they actually have to put in the effort? I think it's causing a mini golden age of sorts, but how long will it be sustainable?

For new and returning players these bundles are great but for players that keep the grind running all the time its terrible. I felt like my grind meaning nothing... Like I just wasted year of grind when I could throw like 100-200$ and save all that time/resources for something else.
So there is no reason to farm for older gls since they will throw all these bundles on us sooner or later. Better to focus on conquest characters and newer units.
I Like them, negotiator was a huge mistake.. Everything else is fine to me, but giving away that..its Bad.
I don't know if someone said that earlier, but it is very simple: just make double-drop kyrotechs (maybe ships) and let players buy kyros with MK3 raid currency. It will help free-2-play guys catch-up a lil bit. Moreover, every new chraracter in the game demands kyros, so, i think, it would be a solution.
Then the top-end players would also be getting kyro faster. That wouldn't be a catch-up mechanic, it would just accelerate everyone in the game
It’s been fun but honestly why so many bundles? I’m excited for geos because I already have the zetas and mods. $15 upgrade. Same with Ewoks, excited. Nightsisters? Lame but I’m gonna get it because my Merrin is complete, I won’t feel good but $15 for that works. I just don’t get why so many? There are a few older farms that I really need but am putting off because future light speed bundles will need to have them. 501st and Bad Batch specifically.
With hyperdrive and every LSB you will get to 4mil GP
A lot of the ftp guys in my guild are probably going to abandon their ftp because of the bundles which I think is okay

Frequency is definitely the problem, are 80% of swgoh characters and fleets gonna be obtainable in LSP bundles in a year and a half? It's way too much, I dont mind the fact you can buy small chunks of the game but at a point it has to stop. (also I agree meta type fleets should be excluded to respect f2p players who need to be able to compete for fleet crystals)
If you’re F2p you MUST rush the executor which’ll take 7/8 months for them show up
