Battlefield 1 is a masterpiece, one of the best Battlefields made. I still play it to this day often. Tried to play BF5 but it just doesn't hit like BF1

The screams of the dying and injured chokes me up most of the time. This game is very atmospheric. I haven't played a game at the same level of atmosphere as this.
It is nice to see that TBM is still giving us some juicy BF1 clips. Everytime I watch these, I instantly get the urge to hop back into BF1 and play some operation, which is still one of the best, if not the best mode, that ever existed in an online multiiplayer game.

Once you mastered the game and sensitivity you can play very good, this game is very rewarding for good players, I remember back in the day watching the broken machine videos helped me so much to get better, and everything in this game is about position. Thats why is so fun, and the auto health regen is also a big thing
Man every time I see you playing Battlefield 1 and using iron sights, it makes me happy for a moment. Then when you're playing Battlefield 5, well it's a different story.

When i returned to play again bf1 i find different experiences from others who played it again. Many lobies players playing either support or sniper. planes really overpowered people not pushing with tanks like bf5 . Many rounds unbalanced lobies especially in the French dlc . Sometimes u fire and no hit on target idk but it doesn't give me enough feeling when i imagine playing it again unlike u maybe i will give it a try in the future. Stay safe legend
This game is awesome, but playing on PC makes the console version feel way slower paced lol I've tried to pull off alot of the techniques that machine uses here on PC matches and I just get mowed down by prone LMG sweatlords and snipers lol
Picked it up again today. God I almost forgot how much fun Battlefield can be. Visually tops BF5, soundwise tops BF5, so much more chaotic. You are correct, BF1 is ART.

Getting to know the maps will help a lot. The BF1 classes are defined with engagement range and positionning. If you play assault, I recommend using gas Grenades to close on other classes. On open maps, never stay static, snipers are powerful.
@@ary550 It depends on how you like playing FPS. Here are some thoughs. - Assault: the weapon you get first, the MP18 trench is one of my fav weapons. Good hipfire, a good weapon overall. I enjoy using it with gas grenades. Automatico and SMG08 have high rate of fire and are deadly at close range. The Model10-A Hunter is IMO the best shotgun, and has an unusual range for this kind of weapons. If you want more range in this class, I recommend the Ribeyrolles (french DLC), it behaves like an assault rifle (use the bipod for longer ranges). As you will fight at close range, keep in mind that bayonet charges and melee attacks are powerful in this game. Flanking is a good strategy for assault, and it benefits from map knowledge. - Medic: the firsts weapons are not good IMO. Rank up to get better guns. The M1907SL sweeper and the federov avtomat can fire full-auto effectively at close range. Most of medic weapons are semi auto suited for medium range. Mondragon and Selbstlader 1916 are powerful and consistent, and their scoped variants can even be useful for countersniping (mondragon sniper has a bipod to help on this, and Selbstlader bullet velocity is as high as sniper's). If you are learning the map, this class allows you to be effective without getting too close to the action (and you can heal yourself and others). The french RSC rifle, although it has a lot of recoil, is a 2 shot kill at medium range. - Support: depending on your playstyle, you can choose different weapons. Lewis, madsen and BAR are somehow like assault rifles. Mg15NA is a good compromise. Parabellum has an incredible rate of fire (deadly at close range). Perino and the american browning are long-range-big-magazine suppressing weapons (spray snipers at a distance to mess with their aim). Beware: bipoded machinegunners are prime targets for snipers and vehicles (big flash and tracer rounds). - Snipers: most rifles have a sweet spot, an optimal range for which they deal 100 damage. Vetterli, SMLE and Martini-Henry are extremely powerful at close-medium range. The optical version of the SMLE is a really good pick. For longer ranges, the gewehr 98 has the highest bullet velocity. As a sidearm, I recommend the Mars automatic, a very powerful handgun, with a better range than any other. For exploring the maps, I also recommend this class. Use spotting flare or periscope as much as you can. Use tripwires to trap a building if you want to use it as a sniping nest. Beware, you are vulnerable to gas and close-range weapons if they come close enough. Also: scoped sniper rifles are easily spotted (reflections on the scope: if they are white, a sniper is looking in your direction. If the reflections are rainbow, you are in his sweetspot. Go to cover immediately). If you want to know more about weapons, I recommend the Kritical Kriss channel. Broken Machine, Westie and Jackfrags covered BF1, Nicamman is a funny pilot, and Stodeh is incredible at sniping.

Pay attention to the sweet spot (when the rainbow appears as two snipers are aiming at each other then its a one shot bullet kill) But it doesn't have to be that Choose guns wisely (which rifles have the most damage at a specific distance which depends on the map) And just practice You will get better with time

How do you manage to get lobbies with enemies that don’t see you when you flank them? No matter what game I’m playing, if I flank the enemy team, they see me as soon as I fire my first shot
Maybe they have snipers that used their spotting flares for a change? I wish more snipers would, and the support guy should keep the sniper stocked up with flares constantly, it's like having enemy locations constantly known for your whole team, but most snipers don't care enough.
Too bad on PC at Asia server, Community Server Always choose Conquest mode. When I want to play Operation, I must enter the official server. And of course, there's hacker every bloody time I do that.

I need help I want to play this game still but every server is either empty or full there is nothing I can join. Anybody know a fix?
BF1 for ever
Too bad on PC at Asia server, Community Server Always choose Conquest mode. When I want to play Operation, I must enter the official server. And of course, there's hacker every bloody time I do that.
