I love office supply stores too!! I buy notebooks at the dollar store and use them for all kinds of things. That is what I am currently using for recording my dps.

NO to the decision wheel!! I choose according to my heart. The kit that brings me the most joy at the moment I’m going through my stash is the one I choose. Your heart will never let you down. I always have one square and one round WIP going-no more than 2 WIPs at a time-one of each diamond shape. Please keep us posted on your cheek issue. The suddenness of it really sounds scary. I pray it’s nothing serious. 🙏

You can do a new one next (newest) and then your oldest and then again a newest. if you do that you will be working on the oldest and the newest painting you bought. I am picking now my painting with the theme of the square i wanted to mark off at the dp bingo. but normaly i choose the one with the image that speaks to me the most. My choices are strongly determined by the events I want to participate in. This year I happened to work on some of my oldest because they fit events and It was awesome. However I wouldn’t want to work chronologically.

I used to work on my paintings in order of purchasing in the first year I discovered this craft. Now events have been deciding what I work on next. My oldest in my stash is Free Like A Bird by JoJoes Art. I bought it in January 2020. I'll get to it one day 😅. I have never used a wheel to chose my next project. I hope your cheek is sorted itself out by now.
The pain in your cheek can be bruxism. Stress can manifest in teeth grinding or clenching which leads to swelling in the jaw. I know this because I have struggled with this my whole life. I sleep with a mouth guard to prevent damaging my teeth.
I work too slowly to say I work backward in chronological order, but I finished one of my oldest kits in June and am working on another now! I think it's really helping to take the work out of deciding which kit to do, and I may just keep doing it. Also, if your next five oldest kits are all Spanglers, why not just take out _all_ Spanglers and put them in their own category? "Complete two Spangler a year," for example. That cuts down your list and gives you the ability to see what other kits you could do sans Spangler.

I stroll thru my stash and see what grabs me most of the time. Sometimes, it’s the color palette that I’m looking forward. If I have a kit with a lot of warm, brown, beige tones, I will chose a kit (actually several) with bright, vibrant colors. Although I may like the image, warm colors give me burn out.

For the goals, what about instead of going with the 5 oldest again, how about picking one from each year? That way you can choose the kit based on size, color, drill shape and have a bit more freedom.
It could be saliva gland. I have had a gland get stopped up. The doctor told me to get hard lemon candy. The first one I had, my cheek started feeling better. Of course I had to continue to have some. But it only took a few days to clear it up
That sounds like a blocked salivary gland. Hubby gets them. Sucking on lemondrop candies and swishing lemon juice helps to release the blockage if it is. Obviously not a doctor but worth a shot. Lol

Not sure if this is possible with your schedule & with you being mostly packed up, etc...but I wish you could do a video on all the different unusual "types" of drills out now. Like I know reg. round/squares & even ab drills, & some "special" drills...crystals. But what do fairy dust drills look like & the other new one I hear of a lot lately...maybe some diff. unusual ones you may have from dp w/sparklers etc. I heard of some 4 squares drills, etc. Anyway just a thought. 👍😁

It's okay for our wants to change over time, especially since newer kits have higher quality components. It was hard for me at first to give up on a kit but others in the community have helped me realize that it is important to really want to work on a kit. Otherwise it is not a pleasure and that's what this hobby is all about -- our pleasure. I am not a content creator so I don't have the pressure to come up with something new, but as a content consumer I can tell you that it changes my enjoyment of a channel if I have to worry about the creator's lack of enjoyment while working on a canvas. I'm not talking about encountering problems and solving or just reporting them -- that's how I learn from all of you -- but if it's just not what you want to be doing that shows through and makes me very uncomfortable. I'd rather wait a few days or weeks or even years in some cases for a creator I like to come back refreshed and happy to proceed. I haven't felt that unhappiness with you. Once you get started you really get into a piece, or so it seems to me. But if you are doubting where you should go next, i'd say just follow your heart.💜🧚🏼♀️💜
So I’ll finish Night Fall this week or weekend. I’m stressed about what I want to do next. I want to participate in drills/chills which starts 8/1, so I need so I can complete in a month! I usually just pick based on my mood the day I kit up. Decisions decisions. Vibrant Italy is my oldest, but is huge! 😊😊😊

It’s been super hot here as well, but not as bad as many other places. I feel so bad for the folks and animals experiencing the blistering heat. This summer has been unprecedented in North America.

My current kit is Cat Nap by DAC which I was really looking forward to but I also felt torn because I was able to get Jasper Sea from a destash group. For some reason I felt I should do Cat Nap first bc I got it first, but now I'm regretting that as a reason to do it first. Next time I'll just go with what my heart says at the moment as a deciding factor on which to do first & not use chronological order. Stopping Cat Nap & switching to Jasper Sea just isn't something I can do for now bc of my quirky nature. As always, I enjoy & look forward to your videos.
I have straight up taken my husband's headphones off of him in my sleep. I have also given him a nice little head scratch while sleeping too. Bodies are weird!
Hi Daphne, I also had to get new license plate for my car. I didn't understand their thought on flat letters, and numbers. Plus I thought the Governor was wanting Kansas to have different license plates they would be different in color because people were complaining about how the license plates looked. I agree that doctors, nurses, and pharmacies don't communicate very well together. Yes, I heard that this week will be in the triple digits for temperatures.🌡 Have a good week.

Normally my projects are either by if it’s a gift or if I have events or just find a snack size i vibe with.
I choose my next project by size/difficulty and whatever strikes my fancy.

Daphne I encourage you to go to your doctor. Your face pain located to one side could be Bell’s palsy. It comes on very slowly.
