I cannot guarantee if this is accurate information, but I've read somewhere that they find it sexy. That being said, sweet and more high pitched voices are also delightful - so, as a person who has tried both, I think it all comes down to other's personal preference. But we should all love who we are, no matter what kind of voice we've got. They're all genuinely amazing: soprano, mezzo, alto for women or tenor, baritone and bass for men ^^ and you will find out that if you love what you've got, others will love it too! ❤️

I met Lauren one of those days she was kind enough to share some stories. She indulged this young film scoring student and avid classic movie fan and made my day. I was able to share my convo with my gramps who lived in Brooklyn when I visited him and he loved the stories. He was responsible for me watching and falling in love with classic films. Now I own around 3k titles of films prior to 1969

One of my favs. I’ve watched this movie many times recently, thanks TCM 😀. I was smitten by Lauren, watching while knowing she was only 19 years old. The first time I watched this movie, I had her for 30 or 35 years old. She seems so mature. Her relationship with Bogie was only 12 years, that is sad. Cigarettes kill so many people, Bogie looked good smoking them, but 57 yrs old is ridiculous.

Until today, I'm so shocked she's only 19 in this movie. She gave off adult-experienced vibe like she's already in her late 20s or early 30s. Face-wise, I can see the youth but her attitude, outfit and her low voice (which I learned later on was due to acting training) gave off very mature and charismatic vibe.
