I love all of the songs from "Love all serve all" album, but those songs you reacted to this time are not often talked about. Thank you for focusing on them. So glad to see you enjoyed them as much as I did. About "Sayonara baby", I would also recommend live versions, particularly the one Kaze sang in his hometown. I think you are mostly right.
Kaze is spiritual person, and most of his songs are about God and higher self, even if some of them may sound like a love song.
Anyway, I really enjoyed this video and am looking forward to your reaction to the next album.

I wouldn't say Kaze is religious per se but he's definitely spiritual. (Anyway, it doesn't matter.) You should give his second album, LOVE ALL SERVE ALL, a try as well. It sounds less jazzy, less subdued, and has more pop and R&B influences. I think he showcases more of his vocal chops there
