Things that I still say over a decade later: "well it's a pity, but there you are."
OMG ... "That puppet with rosacea really nailed it"!!! ... Seriously GENIUS.
Julie's laughter was on point. You guys are sooo talented
OH MY GOD I'm Dying. "do you think Uncle Albert can make me sing? Do you think the Bird Woman can make me sing?" STOP. Howling..
I wasn't sure whether Judy wanted to be Mary, the Birdwoman or Dawes Senior!
10 years later and my friends and I are still quoting this! Absolutely exceptional! I kept goooooooooing
I thought it was going to be a real audition tape with real people… I was disappointed when I saw that it wasn’t.
But... Then suddenly I couldn’t stop watching and thought how lucky I was to have found this. Excellent voices and very funny lol
We laughed so hard & long at this - tears and doubling over! Judy is such a hard voice to mimic - well done! And Julie Andrews, spot on. Syncing the video with the expressions was magnificent - what fantastic and creative work - kindred sprits!
Wow. I had the exact opposite reaction...well, to each his own.
Basically this is the best thing in our world.
Thanks! :)
this is sooooo AMAZING!!! I could watch Judy and patricia neal for hours!!!!!
"that puppet with rosacea rally nailed it.!"
The Matthew Broderick one got me wheezing
Love that you included Lady Elaine!!! The most demented show and hello for her nose!
nothing more perfect than this...laughed all the way through it...you guys are brilliant...
Your Mary Poppins Screen Tests is the best! I kept seeing all those Alexander Caulder mobile things from "I'll Plant My Own Tree" with your kite inspired and London skyline "set design". Inspired lunacy of the highest order. My housemate and I haven't laughed so hard in years.
This is what TH-cam was made for - what a great way to laugh and honor them at the same time - keep them coming.
Very clever - my favorite line is Bette's, "Feed the birds, and what have you got? Fat birds."
nickbigd For me the genius touch is that she’s eating a drumstick. When the teetering old bank guy said those lines in the movie, it was sort of scary/silly; but in between Bette Davis’ mouthfuls, it’s stuff of a horror movie.
Now I have seen (about a hundred times so far) this brilliant contribution to You Tube & my sense of humour, I am convinced that Hayley Mills should have played Mary Poppins & her father John Mills should have played Bert the Cockney chimney sweep.
@PunchyPlayers This was your most amazing yet! Feed the Birds was so touching. It's a perfect song for Judy. You guys are just awesome. Please continue and thank you!
Possibly the funniest video ever, in my book. Just my kind of thing and BRILLIANTLY
executed. More please. Thanks so much for sharing!
Practically perfect in every way. Your lunacy and joy is infectious and so appreciated.❤
the BRILLIANCE is astounding. just keep making these. and never, EVER stop.
OMG !!! you guys are amazing !!! I love Judy Garland !!!! Thanks for the laughter...
“It’s Marym Poppins,” “Whoa let’s go fly a kiiiteheeheeheehee,” “All it takes is tuppence from yooooouhoooweng”🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Good LORD! How have I not seen this?! It's just brilliant - and so many congratulations to all of you!!!!!
Truly wonderful...and thank you for remembering Shirley Booth (the vocal impersonation was fantastic).
There is nothing about this that isn't an absolutely heart-exploding joy. There is too much exquisiteness here to list every favorite moment, but I must acknowledge the subtle perfection of the bongos in the Judy medley--genius!
My only micro-quibble is I kept expecting to see Thelma Ritter. And that Lady Elaine still frightens me.
hahah brilliant! Julie Andrews was absolutely spot on - i had to rewind to make sure it wasn't actually her! I WISH Judy had had a chance to do tuppence a bag though - she would have melted every heart all over the world if she had. It's such a gorgeous song - one of my favourites.
The impressions are astounding!!!
The image of Julie Andrews snarfing down Doritos! LMAO!
Judy nailing the song as always! I'm sad Ann Miller wasn't here tap dancing.
I LOVE THE ADDITIONAL MATERIAL!!!! .... especially tuppence, - great scenes from a favourite film, "i could go on swinging, I mean singing"
Thanks guys!!!!!!!
Incredible. Practically perfect and may be the funniest thing I've EVER seen .... especially the Judy part!!
"That puppet with rosacea really nailed it."
"Feed the birds and what have you got? FAT BIRDS!"
LOL!
Another great video from Punchy Players! You guys outdid yourselves! Bravo.....I love it!
OMG! Mark, you did all those voices? A true gem...more, MORE!
I grew up watching Shirley Booth as Hazel. OMG, if I closed my eyes, I could have sworn it was her. Brilliant work, guys!!
more please. these are spot on! its really incredible.
I think this is my favorite out of all your videos !!! I love Judy !!!
Glad you liked this one. It's a favorite of ours as well. Thanks for watching. :)
Astonishing voice impressions...I live in Vegas and have seen many an impressionist from Rich Little to just about anybody else - but I have to say, I've have never heard ANYONE do a voice impression of actress Shirley Booth - and if I had, it couldn't possibly be any better than this -
Still waiting for the return of Punchy players!
Me too !
Chris and Jeff, you guys are brilliant--the voices, the writing, the animation, all of it is just superb. Thank you for sharing your gifts. You really brighten our world.
Thank you, Randy. So nice of you!

I have been fascinated watching these videos, I can only say that they are truly amazing. Greetings from Mexico.
Thank you for watching and for your nice comment. :)
BRILLIANT. And bless you for including Lady Elaine Fairchild...incredible.
This deserves so many more likes... it's wonderful
I could go on & on pointing out all of the details that are spot-on brilliant, but we'd be here all day. Instead, I'll just say that this is OUTSTANDING. For me, second only to Judy's Cream of Wheat ("Would you like that? Well I'll do it then" -- ROFL!!!!) So, thank you.
"Every afternoon, I knock back a few bull shots and run these. Pass the Doritos!"
HAHAHA!!
The way in which you match the video with the voices is brilliant. Spot on.
"That puppet with rosacea really nailed it!" I LOL'ed so hard! Wonderful work guys!
Dear lord. I could watch another 2 hours of the Judy segment.
Love it! Bette cracked me up...and Judy was the scene-stealer. Practically perfect in every way...well done! (But you missed out Angela Lansbury). LOL xxx
That puppet with rosacea really nailed it
I stumbled on this and enjoyed it so much...Beyond clever...magical. Loved it.

This is brilliant! Oh my god, the vocals were superb
AMAZING thanks guys your stars more please
I love your impression of Bette Davis! And I enjoyed seeing her "Baby Jane" look. Haha. I was actually wondering if Bette Davis would make an appearance in this video. I guessed correctly! And, of course, Judy's moments were fabulous! Well done!
God, how do you nail her voice so perfectly, that raspy laugh, the hmmmm sound she makes, what an ear you have! I;d recommend you make this into a D-V-D and mail it out to her! She'd love it I bet!
This is absolutely brilliant and my newest favorite video ever. Bette made me roll.
The Patricia Neal take is giving me LIFE!!!
Who are you guys? This is just BRILLIANT! My very favorites were Judy Garland and Audrey Hepburn, but that you chose Lady Elaine, well that was just diaper filling funny! MORE MORE MORE! hahahaha
Amazing! You guys are truly amazing.
My lord....Hepburn and Garland were done very well. Especially Hepburn. Her accent was so very unique. I'm impressed....and laughing tons.
I CANNOT get over how amazing these impressions are!
This is so wonderful! I can't stop laughing! What a talented group y'all are!
Bravo Guys -- Love from New Jersey !
Fantastic impressions! Wow!
Your videos are simply grand!! Bravo!
LOL...I think you guys have topped yourselves. But I am sure you have more up your sleeves. Loved it!!!!!
UNREAL - the BEST!!!!!!! You guys ROCK my world!!
These impressions are truly superb! Amazing! Genius.
I love how you fit in "Go Fly a Kite" - you guys are incredible!!!!!! Bob in Toronto
This is just terrific! Funny, clever and expertly done....virtues one seldom sees on TH-cam. Thanks for the laughter.
Fabulous beyond belief. My stomach muscles may never recover from the belly laughs. You are a gift to the world, Punchy Players, and thank you most profoundly.
I'm new to Punchy Players, discovered this series a month and a half ago. I've watched all that are online, I imagine. Love Audrey the most! Then Judy. Judy was my favourite, until I saw the Audrey clips! But I can only admire your taking on Patricia Neal. Also another uncanny impersonation. Thanks for the laughs!
This is so entertaining. I love it. Everything is wonderful but the Judy Garland part is incredibly awesome. The music, the backgrounds, the voices! Of course, Julie Andrews' rendition is incredible! Bravo, boys!
okay, THIS is a frickin' MASTERPIECE..!!! bravo!!!
The voices were great!
The Carnegie Hall, “sing it with me, please!” 😂 ❤❤❤❤
Incredibly funny and amazing voice work. I thought Shirley Booth had come back from the dead.
Balls voice sounded not unlike it did on the Mame soundtrack! LOL! And Shirley Booth!? LMAO! Your videos make my day!
Insanity!!!!!!!! I love it! Lady Elaine Fairchilde brought me here!
Brilliant!! Hope you do more.
R.I.P. Clarissa Dickson Wright. It's a pity, but here we are.
Sweet Jesus, when I hear Julie Andrews say, "Pass the Doritos" I just about piss my pants in laughter. I can't wait for more videos :)
Damn you!! Now I'll never be able to post the comment "That's the most brilliant thing I've ever seen" because from now going forward, I will have to qualify by adding "second to the Punch Players Mary Poppins screen tests video, of course" which sort of takes the zing out of my praise for others' work.
I watch this everyday.
Brilliant as always! x
@AmidTheFallingSnow As the voice artist for PunchyPlayers, I thank you.....I have always done a Julie interpretation, and finally found room for it here. She will return.
truly amazing. this really brought tears to my eyes, both out of joy and nostalgia. for a split second, i was convinced it was julie andrew's voice
The Patricia Neal impression fucking kills me. All are great.
I wish you guys would come back. :(
Brilliant! I am in awe of your talents. Please continue!!!
We miss you, Punchy Players
Please keep making these. Every little nuance is what makes me pee in my pants from start to end.
Whenever I get depressed, I can just watch this. It's phenomenal. I nearly screamed when I saw there was a new video. This definitely did not disappoint.
"That puppet with rosacea really nailed it." Ha!
So much to enjoy. But that Bette Davis floored me. More of her please.
