hahaha, i should have kept flipping through the book.. there were some questionable pieces in there that were more.. "abstract" in nature lol but dang, thank you for the encouragement!! you're so sweet!!
I think i hear a “watercolour sketchbook tour” video coming? Also you have schmincke paints … you know more than your letting on! Gorgeous first painting! Also since your in montreal there are some “local” (Ontario) stores that sell those photo albums of you end up needing more and dont want to pay for japan shipping.

This is actually larger than I expected, based on some comments I've seen. I ordered three of them -- this one, the plaid, and liberty. Can't wait for them to arrive!
Yeah I realize its similar in size to the medium delfonics, its just alittle more "open" than the delfonics utility pouch. how are you liking them? Im so curious what you're planning to use your three stappos for :)!?
@@pensandpears I'm currently using it to store scissors, papers/stickers, correction and glue tape, a glue stick, my metal paperclips and my journal. 😊
Hi Maggie! What were you planning on keeping in it? it actually packs a punch and can fit a pretty good amount considering its size. I would be happy to try and test it out for you :)
hahaha sorry about that! hearing about how people are planning to use their Stappos is making me want another one too.. but I'm clinging to whatever remaining ounces of self-discipline and self-restraint I have to avoid another order lol
@@a.o9656 I am sorry about that! I also missed some nice products because of this long period. No wonder people always place their orders right away! 😣
I bought the exact same strappo as you! I'm still not sure what I'll use it for. I originally wanted it to sit on my desk and hold my watercolours too. But now I'm worried I'll stain it if it's sitting on my desk. So I've neatly put it back on its plastic bag lolll
lol I hope you get to pull it out and use it! The inside is a nice dark colour so any stains wouldn't show, and to be honest, i looove when watercolour supplies look well used.. it looks like it has some stories to tell :)
I do lov3 watercolours looking well uses but not my storage stuff hahaha. I love my paint palettes full of gross colours mixed together too but not my storage stuff hahahahah
It's amazing how much space there is in such a small thing! Then again, I shouldn't be surprised: I just got a drawer pouch Ané, and it fits just so many things inside, it's ridiculous.
@@pensandpears I use it to carry my Weeks (which fits perfectly), a fountain pen and ruler for planning on the go, my passport, some cards, bus tickets, chapstick, teeny tiny hand lotion, emery board, earbuds, emergency painkillers. It keeps all my stuff together, it's so much better than having it all over my backpack.
I really appreciate your review Im seriously wanting one of these. The Liberty Fabrics one is on sale so its calling me Will the A5 Cousin fit in the back with its cover on??
Thanks Pamela! I tried it now, and it looks like the back pocket would be too tight for the A5 cousin (with or without a cover) unless you wanted to store it vertically (although it's still a little tight).
Thanks for the thorough review of this pouch. Love, love the pouch and your video. However I noticed the exposed Velcro on the front pockets. I guess I could put some decorative patches on this. I find the tiny hairs and such that get into the Velcro so annoying. I do not judge you for all your watercolor tins! I wish I had that in my life but right now I am so busy with finishing my thesis. I think these pouches would be great for my nieces who are artists!
Thank you so much :)! Great point! I think the length of some of my paint brushes was making it hard for me to align the velcro on the left side, I think without them, it should align up just fine. But I definitely know what you mean.. they can really be a magnet for fluff and stuff. Best of luck on your thesis! I've definitely but my watercolour aside for the past year cause of my school work as well. Really hoping that having my art supplies easily accessible with help nudge me into painting more
Hi Talisha! The main site to buy hobonichi products is here: www.1101.com/store/techo/en/lineup/ for smaller order though, it might be good to go with a reseller like jetpens.com so you can avoid heavy shipping and custom charges. I hope that's helpful. What were you hoping to get? :)
Hi!! I've used a range of brushes from daVinci and Escoda to dollar store ones when I'm in a pinch. to be honest my fave ones are a pack of travel brushes I got on amazon, the free mini travel brush you get with the Winsor&Newton Cotman palette, and a mop brush I got from Jackson's art. Are you into watercolour too?? what kind of brushes do you have?
Thank you for your video. I’ve been tempted to buy the Stappo, but the only thing that’s stopping me is the fact that I just bought a zipper cover for my Hobo Cousin and a large drawer pouch. Do you think the Stappo could fit my planner with the zipper cover? The cover is just too pretty to sacrifice it for a bag 😅
Hi! I think it might be able to fit in the large main pocket but it'll be a little snug. It felt a little tight with the hobonichi cousin without a cover on it. Maybe you can use the stappo to organize and store your additional stationary supplies? but I guess the large drawer pouch works perfectly for that too :)!
Thanks for the review! I was just looking at the Stappo on the Hobonichi store site and I came straight over to TH-cam to see if anyone had made a video on it. I see a purchase in my near future! It’s adorable, and looks very useful. How have you found it after using it for just a little while? Are you still happy with your purchase? Thanks! ❤
Hi Amy! I don't regret the purchase at all, its been so nice to have my art supplies have a portable home and can be on display, and it's small enough that it doesn't take up much room on your desk. What are you hoping to use yours for if you decide to get it?
@@pensandpears Hi there! Well, I’ve ordered one, in canvas like yours. I will either use it for journaling supplies, or art supplies, or a bit of both, I think. I’m really looking forward to it! I procrastinated a bit about which one to get as I really like the Liberty one, but that appears to be covered in cotton lawn, which is a thin, delicate fabric. Obviously it’ll still be sturdy but I wonder if the Liberty fabric it’s covered in might wear more easily. Maybe one day I’ll get that as well but I can’t afford it right now and I want to see how much I use it.
I’ve been waiting for someone to review this, it’s so cute! Thanks for posting the review!
Thank you!!
