2024 Dwan is so different from 2009 Dwan. I feel on that last hand 2009 Dwan would have used the blockers and jammed getting Ryan to fold. He was a beast back then but now he plays more like I do which is not good......
@@NickFernsI agree with both. Durrrr would've covered everyone at the table and overjammed the river forcing the fold. Such little details make the difference between champs and chumps.
2009 people didn't care about blockers. They would've bluff if they feel like the line of their opponents doesn't make sense and they will use any kind of hands to do that.
@@uns70ppabl35normal people didn’t back then but dwan was ahead of curve used blockers. There’s a famous hand in high stakes poker where he used blockers to bluff someone off trips and Barry greenstein off aces in a 3 way huge pot.
@wangfoo2693, that hand couldn't have anything less to do with blockers. If anything he had a negative blocker because he had a 10 which was top pair which was the hand that Greenstein and Eastgate were most likely to fold. That hand was only possible because Dwan could hand-read in a way nobody else did at the time and he also understood player tendencies more than most others.
I think the TT hand is quite poor from Dwan, especially after he's seen the KK hand from before. He literally says that they guy could have a J and still calls. The fact that he knows he could well be up against a super thin value bet and blocks all the bluffs makes it an easy fold imo. Of course, I've literally only seen these two hands from the session so maybe he knows something I don't, but I can't really imagine any good reason for calling.
Flatting that turn was bad with TT. Why not put in a raise with the blockers on the turn and fold to a jam? Ryan know he’s not smooth calling the nuts on turn
@@ShinestuHikoyou would bet a queen no kicker to target a worse hand that would never call there? Even kings barely wanted to call why would Ryan target pocket 77
@@snowboardinglegend But Dwan has TT! He blocks half of those and what missed spades could he have? The only missed spades hand he beats is are some Ax, KT, K9, 56s. He even loses to 67s and Feldman can't have 89s or 78s
I don't know what Dwan's confused about. It was a measly 1200 dollar raise to start. The guy flopped a queen. Is it that hard for him to have a fucking queen? Dwans a good player but what a donk move here.
Commentator´s comment that the turnbet "doesnt make a lot of sense" is pretty dumb. They checked to the preflop raiser on the flop and then bet into him on when he checked back on the A-high flop. Completely standard and good play.
Steve's stupid little min-bets and under-bets are annoying. They accomplish NOTHING. They dont get proper value as a value-bet, and noone will fold to them as a bluff
Dwan still looks like he hasn’t slept in 20 years
He hasn’t.
I love it when he goes all Rainman
Well, when you got the Chinese triple Fa looking for you to get some of their money back then you wouldn’t sleep either!
Dwan always looking at the secret window in the sky
He's looking for his money backers!
It almost feels like Dwan's concept of how much money he plays for, at any televised stake, has no actual value
I think I'm falling in LOVE with asian women

2009 Dwan would’ve had a much bigger stack though, making the jam a great play. At these stakes and stack sizes, Ryan is prob calling a jam.

Terrible call
by saying "7s" it's an insta-call
facts
Dwan is looking raggedy! His indebtedness (alleged) is probably weighing on him!
Q2 and J7 off calling pre flop....this high stakes is nuts
Can fold boats but not third pair
Ryan talked lmaooo gave away his hand strength snap call from dwan
Dwan was like wtf why is he raising with Q9 😂
These guys donk off 100s of thousands of dollars every month. It's hilarious when they go in the tank on a 10k bet

Ryan fked that up smh dvmmy
I would of played it the same way as Ryan

In the final hand, is there ever a situation where Steve’s min raise into such a large pot makes sense? Or is it just for “fun” or what?
Million dollar idea! The non droopy poker tshirt.
Looks like we have a fashionista among us! 😂
Steve is a pro
Dwan literally takes so long for every decision. He’s not as interesting as he thinks he is..
Good thing is more screen time for Britney
I'm not sure Dwan's main thought here is how to keep you entertained.
Dwan losing money he should be paying back
What was Dwan putting Feldman on other than 99? Puzzling call.
if Q9 is in his range there then K9, K10, A10, missed spades can all be in his range too

But why would 9s bet the turn when an overcard came out?
Why does Britney like to peek at other people cards EVERY hand
Dwan is definitely playing with house money. And get some sleep dude
Does Ryan ever win? 😅
calling bet and raise on the turn with tens, while out of position? could somebody explain that to me, because it seems a very bad play.
It is bad play
Terrible play and just a frustrating waste of everyone's time. I'd be really really annoyed.
Its technically a bet and a raise but it's really just a bet. Steve bet 400 dollars into a 25 k pot which should be treated as a check.
Steve seems like a good guy to play poker with, go to a sporting event or just do drugs and get weird with.

Viewer perspective.... Ryan is way too comfortable in body language with his bet to make this call.....
Yes because he thought he was targeting a worse hand and when he said that then dwan snap called

that reasoning with the TT is awful
Hero? Calls with 2 overs? Dumb
Hell no to the last hand turn call and especially the river call by Dwan. Ignorant.
ドゥアン冴えてない
Sorry. Dumb call on the turn and on the river. Just dumb.
English only, please
Tom Dwan is actually awful at poker now wtf
Is it just me or Ryan actually became a loose player?
5:43 steve is annoying
That's just bad form...
No, he's just a idiot

when are they going to implement english only
I wonder if he paid back his debts yet
It's not 2075 yet so I'm guessing not.
Does he really owe money ?
