Router Plane Tip!

Here’s two tips from ‪@VicTesolinWoodworks‬ for using router planes to adjust tenons.
1. Advance the blade onto the wood until it just catches. From there you can take some thin shavings but remember, what you do to one side, you have to do to the other, so take it slow.
2. Use an off-cut to help balance the router plane.
Here Vic was using the ‪@melbournetoolcompany‬ large router plane to cut the tenon for a side table project - a throwback to the Hamilton Woodworking Show.
