UBL's MTB Trail Preview yeah I just saw that a couple days ago! It was making me nervous thinking it was going to fall off in the video. I had one fall off last year on another trail and it took me twenty minutes to find it again. Now I always put those retainer leashes on them in case I bump it with my knee or something.
i had arm pump, oxygen dep, dehydration, leg cramp and all i was doing was watching, that's one unreal race, although i think the speeds that you and others were going would warrant some knee and elbow protection at least, how did you fair in the race? finishing position, distance covered etc ?
avs 61758 yes that's it. I mean there are a lot of trails but this is the typical Downieville Downhill run. There's a lot of snow up there right now so hopefully it will be cleared out by the time you get up there!
Wow I never noticed that. Had to watch it several times. At first it looks like a rock but I think you might be right. The only snakes I've ever seen there are rattlesnakes. They sit still on the trail and you don't notice them until you're right on them.
Did it this past Saturday in an hour and 15, a personal best. can't comprehend the speed you're getting. Great job!
Wow! Nice. Added to the bucket list
Nice run! The lines through the gorge and the waterfall were flawless, and I bet you hit 40+ down Third Divide.
I thought I hit the fast forward button when I started watching this... U make downieville look easy! nice run...
Good save on the Garmin! Awesome ride

I didn't know there was a leash, I'll have to check that out

knee and elbow protection for sure.
i feel like my senses wouldn't be fast enough to handle that speed, impressive !
Nicely done! Is that the typical shuttled ride? Making my first Downieville trek this summer and looking for info...
