    This guy was always my favorite tennis player, and I'm not even a tennis fan, but I always liked to watch him play (and sweat profusely, and that routine before each serve) and I admired the way he never gave up when he would get down early and always find a way to come back and win. Guy was a fighter, and a true champion in every sense by the way he played.

      @@anjum2008 why? What's wrong with an Indian calling Nadal timid?

    • @anjum2008
      @anjum2008 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Shankar-Bhaskar Nadal is intrinsically shy and not as extrovert as Federer or Djokovic but a shy person isn't necessarily always a timid one. Take Sachin Tendulkar for example. He is one of the nicest and most courteous cricketers ever to play the game but at the same time hit every bowler in the world at his leisure. Would you call Tendulkar timid? No. Just like that Nadal is one of the greatest Tennis players in the history and no timid player could ever achieve what Nadal did. So calling him timid is just plain nonsensical.
      As far the irony of an Indian calling a professional sportsman timid. Well, Indians are few of the most docile, subservient and skittish people I ever came across in UK, probably second only to Bangladeshis. So it's like the pot calling the kettle black.

    We will NEVER see again 3 players like Djokovic, Nadal and Federer.
    The best player, according to numbers is Novak. Then comes everything else, the personality the style etc.
    Novak is not loved as much probably because of his culture and his personality. But tennis wise, he is the GOAT, THIS IS A FACT ! Novak is also a very hard working player. Nadal has a funnier side , better looking than Novak. Roger is probably the most talented of the 3. However , there are so many players with amazing talent that didn't make it to the top 10 and viceversa. Look at Medvedev, he has not much of talent, yet he made it to number 1 and won GS with 100% of dedication, will and very hard work.
