À 23h hier soir les pompiers du SIM ont été dépêchés au coin des rues Ste-Catherine et Chomedey au centre-ville de Montréal. Des images vidéo tôt sur la scène montrent une voiture en feu avec des flammes qui se propagent à une autre. Des policiers du SPVM ont aussi été déployés sur scène, aucune blessûre n'a été rapportée.
At 11h pm last night SIM fire crews received a report of two vehicles on fire at the corner of Ste-Catherine and Chomedey in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Early footage shows flames ripping and consuming parts of two parked cars. Police officers from the SPVM also were deployed to establish a safety perimeter and no injury were reported.

Sky Of The Universe so many trucks because of the risk of spread to the structure. You can see the guys from the ladder are using their flash lights looking up to see signs of spread.

For all of yall ( if you are wondering) why are there 3+ fire trucks right? Ima explain too yall the fire could spread too the building so they call more then needed just in case it spreads over too the building so they dont have too call more when its too late

When will people get it that cars do not explode! Tyres may, and batteries, but this "Run, it's going to blow!" is just stupid. Something in it perhaps, but not the car itself.

Explotar, explotar quizá no; pero deflagración sí puede haber, y es mejor estar a no menos de unos tres metros por si acaso. Se pueden ver videos por ahí. Es mejor ser prudente. Aparte de que nunca se sabe qué pueda haber dentro del conche susceptible de salir disparado.

For all you armchair firefighters that don’t know a thing about car fires they can explode and do. The person filming was a little excited but he was correct. When you see it in a movie it is set with explosives to make it look exciting. Cars can make a hell of a bang when they blow just not like you see in the movies.
