Sometimes not just Boulders. But if you can find some weed growth or patch’s of vegetation ( and it doesn’t have to be an obvious weed bed)…. Just some 2” grassy stuff on the bottom is what these fish were holding on mostly. In The deeper vast areas the perch can fly away fast like pigeons in baseball stadium but if you can find something like the grass patches… they may hold there for longer periods of time.
