Ice King i mean they almost look exactly the same, but there are alot of different details her hair is different along with her hair, armor, head piece, shield and sword. So it does seem ultimate worthy

For those who still don't get why Leona got both the skins:
1. Blood moon skin line is actually the skin line representing a perfect lunar eclipse (there is already Bloodmoon Diana)
2. According to the lore, scientifically, Diana should get Solar Eclipse, not Lunar Eclipse (similarly, Leona should get Lunar eclipse instead of the solar one) because:
a.) Solar Eclipse happens when the moon blocks the light of the sun. Also, anything associated with solar should be red hot and burning which is suitable with Leona image. Diana also got Infernal skin already, btw.
b.) Lunar Eclipse happens when the earth blocks sunlight to the moon on a straight line, a small amount of sunlight reflected by the earth's atmosphere reached the moon and give it the blood color, so the Moon, in this case, is in a more inferior position compared to the Sun in some sense. However though, in another sense, this can be seen as an effort of escaping the sun of Diana.
One of the best skins line Riot, keep it up.
I also like the idea that rare champions are getting the skin from these series, that's also something that could stay. Pls don't give a Coven or Eclipse skin to Ahri, MF or Lux next year.

Yep. As a Leona main, I am actually disappointed in Rito's decision-making. It makes zero sense to give Leona both of the skins.

Leona's skin is based on a SOLAR eclipse. I get that the whole moon imagery in the teaser confused people but still.
A perfect LUNAR eclipse = BLOOD MOON. So Diana's take on this already happened.
And Lissandra and Camille get these pagan god skins along the way, just like all the other blood moon skins represent eastern yokai.

They could have made a Lunar eclipse skin for Diana and get away with it. I can guarantee you that *no one would really care about the existence of Blood Moon Diana*. Do not be mistaken. This decision was not made just because wE aLreAdy gOt blOoD moOn dIAna (pretending to be rito for a minute). No, it was based on money. Leona will earn them more money than Diana ever can, unless they decide to change her kit so that she is just as, if not more popular than Leona.

EddMan both have different spell effects, unique voice lines and a different recall, this is hardly a chroma, chromas just change the colour pallet of a skin

They changed the animations and particles unlike a chroma which is just a recolor of a pre-existing skin.
they are just testing the waters right now. If people buy these skins then they know that they can get away with selling chromas for 20$
