Skiing the Rockgarden Whakapapa Mt Ruapehu

A beginners second run on the Rockgarden trail at Whakapapa Skifield Mt Ruapehu, this is to give an idea of what it is like to ski this run for a person who has never been to this mountain. Check out some views on the Rangatira Express on the way up and a full run down.

2022 was meant to be the year for that! video is from 2021. Did 2 days of lessons followed by another 2 days of skiing and was parallel and happy as waiting for the rest of the mountain to open up..... but unfortunately we all know how that worked out. Hopefully it's a good season this year with all that's going on at the mountain and it can be the winter I hit as many trails as possible! Feel free to hit me up when winters in (emails in the channel page somewhere), always keen to get in with people that have local knowledge and experience, makes everything way better.

I’m a beginner to intermediate skier. Just went to ski days ago. curious for the up mountains coz fear . Thanks heaps mate! Try to go up in Aug.
