The slippers are handed out on short flights to Europe. Some flights might not have them on board but last year, I got the slippers on my flights to Paris from IAD and again Rome from IAD. The pajamas are only for flights 12 hours minimum
Thanks for the added input! Never flown from the east coast to Europe. Interesting on the pajamas, heard a few different numbers for what gets you to the threshold. Thanks for watching!
@PatsTravelPass it's 12 hours minimum for pajamas. My family and I will be flying to Japan in August that is 14 hours direct so we will get slippers and pajamas.
I flew United SFO to Taipei Business class using United miles a few days ago one way . No pyjamas (13+ hour flight) and I found it frustrating there was very little storage (300 ER) around the seat. Food and service were ok- Appetizer on full tray first, then entree brought later. The buffet food in the Polaris lounge was not impressive to me and it was impossible to get into their restaurant at lunchtime. Also found it strange there was no Diet Coke or Coke Zero in their refrigerator.
Wow, 13+ hours surely pajamas could've been well used. Storage is a bit smaller in the non-bulkhead seats, but with all that bedding not a ton of extra space. WOW, appetizer served on a different tray than the entree, I'm shocked! Yeah buffet is like any other lounge buffet, restaurant is decent, but need to be there extra early to get name on the list.
Yeah, I won’t believe it until I see the multi course offering. This meal actually was pretty subpar unfortunately. Appetizers were frozen like the ice cream sundae. The main was great though!

Great tips with seats.aero and the credit card comparison. Digging the Timelapse footage of the ramp too 👍🏻
Thanks! Seats.aero is one of the best free tools to search for all major points and miles

Nice video, but Polaris has a lot of shortcomings. The food looks absolutely horrible. I agree with you about the single-tray service.
Yep they sure do. Had such mixed results over the few times I’ve had to try this product. Food out of sfo definitely needs improvement.
I hate that they serve everything on one tray its been more than a year they say we will do different courses but still the same
