@@Calistarius79 Lol, so true. My GM hinted the goblin my friends and I captured might know the location of our target. Our GM stated the gob was a rare breed who is intelligent but morale. Needless to say, we failed insight, so we couldn't determine if he was telling the truth. I suggest torture, so we removed the gob's nails, waterboarded him, and knocked him around. Afterwards, we determined the gob was telling the truth from the start, but I chocked him to death because I reason he might tell on us.

So this was a 10 week monster of an edit. Thank you for your patience everyone. And special thanks to BewBewDingo, NervousHawk, TwistieZ, Bavon and Amelia Tyler, for giving me the art, music tweaks and voice work to make it proper shiny. More of this to follow, if you want it? Our Divinity playthrough got quite silly indeed. As the game asked us to save the world, and we left them on "seen".

Funnily enough the Inquisitor class preset in this game actually is a necromancer.
The Cleric class preset is a necromancer as well. Divinity Logic.

Coming back after playing Baldurs Gate 3 and can't believe Womble got the DM to narrate his goddammit video.
I've never played the game, so I had no idea they made that cutscene until I saw this comment.
It's crazy to see the UI system here since it's so similar to BG3. Idk what I would expect though since they're made by the same people.

Story time: In Original Sin 1, each party member had their own chest at home base with a ridiculous carry capacity so you could put all your stuff in there. Somehow, I managed to pick this chest up and put it into my inventory. Of course, I instantly teleported it into my brother's inventory to make him overencumbered...
and the game hard crashed to desktop. On both our computers. We tried to load a save but it just kept crashing, and we lost like half an hour of progress.
Now ZF is playing it. God help us all.

@@AznSentinelGaming his ability to get into character is actually impressive. So many people don’t realize the roleplaying games are meant to be had fun with any way you can see fit. Digby likes to make off the wall characters with strange morals, and he plays them so well I forget they aren’t an actual individuals creation in a game or movie. And he usually does it all offhand for a bit. He’d be a really fun player to DM for.
Also, the next video definitely needs to be sooner. The big creative projects are fun, but gosh are they mentally taxing to edit. I'll have a shuffle through the livestreams and find something a bit more manageable.

You're gonna be disappointed to find out D&D Lizardfolk don't have fire immunity either.
Lizards in divinity 2 get a small boost to fire resistance, which is very helpful if you want to go for a build that stacks it as high as possible. 100% is immunity to damage from that type, but over 100% heals you instead.
So a pyromancer Lizard is a fun build, where you set everything on fire and don't get hurt, but actively heal. (Altho trying to kill something immune to fire will become a challenge when that's all you do, heh).

"Sophisticated: Gain +10% Fire Resistance and +10% Poison Resistance"

One is dragonborns who breath fire, snow, poison, lightning etc. based on their colour and have resistance to it.
The other is lizardfolk that look like bipedal crocodiles, geckos & comodo dragons and will eat their enemies, family, friends, allies & you if you're dead.
I saw the animation and thought "this has to be from the game" then he started crediting people and i realized just how wrong i was. Well done womble

Aye, I've never heard of this game before so I thought they were in-game cutscenes for a good while
Man, your massive over-editing skills has approached artistic project levels and it took me a while to realize that the animated cutscenes and custom music belonged to your clanmates. ZF is filled with skilled people. An RPG game with a whole new level of narration on it... You take longer for each upload and somehow it's *always* worth the wait. So, I will be waiting for part 2
Womble had Amelia Tyler as the Narrator BEFORE Larian made it cool.
I love how little progress they made in this episode. Like, we're talking 4-5 more episodes probably just for the first map alone xD

@@ahobopanda1640 yeah it isn't, you see how after the shipwreck, he starts to show his friends names when they are in the water and all these animations are made by him and his team.
The way things derailed massively in the very first part makes me wish for a ZF D&D campaign, that would give everyone way more freedom to just cause complete and utter chaos or just be badass.
The reason there isn't a ZF DnD campaign is mostly because there isn't a DM mad enough to take them on!

ZF have played and completed a DnD campaign. There is also a planned DnD bullshittery in the works as a side project. Womble is trying to do it as an animation and it is thus, a long project for him.

Every time I rewatch this video, I notice new details! Like in the opening after the ship goes down in the beginning, there are Seven lights that are searching through the wreck, one takes Digby the Lizard, another Messy the Dwarf, and then a third one takes both Soviet and Quebec the Humans, which I only just realized is the Gods choosing their Champions. What an amazing little detail!!

seeing how they murdered and fought regular NPC's is not a good sign in terms of playing the game( losing xp and shit) but in terms of bullshittery i like the approach ngl. but i suggest quebec should chill on the stealing to not aggro every npc and gain -45 attitude = not talking to them unless giving a gift

This Game is nothing short of a masterpiece... just hearing the Soundtrack again gives me goosebumps.
I fucking love this game, only problem I had with it was the ending, no matter what ending I chose they all felt unfulfilling, i wish it had just ended when you're on the boat and they hadn't told you what happens to the main characters

After his suicide physical bomber and killed four voidwoken at once, our Blobby got named into Bloblord
Just to be clear about the fight against Saheila's camp: Digby was having a chat with the lizard in front of him and trying to trade. Something went wrong and the NPC got mad. That's why they agro'd everyone.

Watching your stream every day and knowing how much effort you put into this, my appreciation for this video knows no bound.. If anyone interested for example after playing with everyone he played this game once again on his own just to get those NPC dialogues clearly.. Every time you see him talking with a NPC alone, that's his second play through.. You inspire to learn more about video editing..
Ooh, this series is gonna be good! Fortunately, I finally played Divinity 2 recently, so I don't have to worry about spoilers. Too bad none of you are playing an elf; they gain memories and abilities by eating body parts, which would have been fun to watch you react to. Top tier work on the intro stuff; Amelia Tyler absolutely *nailed* that narration. She fit the game so well that I was genuinely confused that I didn't remember her from my playthrough.
If you kind want to experience the game in full without an origin party then you would have to create a lizard scholar/mystic

This was genuinely amazing. If you guys actually made all those cutscenes, including the underwater intro, I legitimately thought they were part of the actual game. Very cool, and this has motivated me to play the game for the first time despite it having collected dust in my Steam library for the last however many years.
Its an absolutely phenomenal game. Ive sunk about 300 hours into it on a few characters. Let me know if you need a duo.

Wow. It's not my first time watching this video and I've just noticed an amazing detail at 7:20. There are seven lights and I realized that each one represents one god in the Divinity universe. Messy and Digby are carried by individual gods of their races, while Quebec and Womble are both carried by one light, which is human God Rhalic.
This has to be by far the highest production value let's play I have ever seen.
He actually got one of the VAs from the game (and the narrator for Baldur's Gate III) to narrate it. Damn.

same here: but for me after i watched this one vid, i wanted more so i watched his actual streams till a certien point, (mid act 1, i think i stopped when they met gareth or something in that area), cuz i wanted to see more of the game but without much spoilers, so i got it, played the hell out of it, finished it after 125 hourers in first playthrough, and now its my fav game of all time

Absolutely love all the little details in the cutscenes, especially the credits, each of the orbs of light representing one of the seven, and the two human characters being rescued by the one representing Rhalic, and of course the other two characters being rescued by their own respective gods. Amazing work as always Womble, you’ve really stepped up the bar here!
Plus the way the music perfectly synchronises with the orbs of light saving their chosen
I wonder what that last orb is, the one that appears after the rest had gone ;)

This series is a masterpiece of its genre. Absolutely amazing production through and through with great storytelling and character building with your choice in gameplay. The addition of music and artwork sends this to the next level and really shows how much love and care goes into creating something this polished. Really a true master of your art and it really shows here

I have always loved your extra attention to detail when you throw subs over the characters that are speaking on screen, its very nice for lil ol hard of hearing me. Also this game was super fun I love how they did the dialogue boxes and I loved the VA work back in the day. The cutscene animations are wonderful too everyone involved did a great job!
I personally don’t mind the wait, because the editing ends up absolutely perfect.
Resurrection scrolls being quite rare I can only see that playthrough as an absolute succes. I hope to see more of it
My party had similar chaos with 2 off the group doing pvp and asking to be ressed. It was only when we actually needed the scrolls did they start taking things somewhat seriously. at least seriously enough to not kill one another for the lolz.
By mid act 2 you have enough gold to basically have more than you will ever need provided you have been lotting which Quebec seems to have covered ;)
Honestly its best to just get the necro ability yo resurrect a party member at the expense of health.

The Intro was fucking stellar, the cutscenes are top notch, the conversetions feel more immersive than even when playing the game myself. Holy shit, it feels like you've improved upon a masterpice that D:OS 2 already was. Really excited for the next episode, no matter how long we have to wait. Spectacular job Womble :D
