Its very difficult to see Celine struggling a bit after having followed her powerhouse career for so many years. I just watched a compilation video Rock Star Celine...my goodness what a voice on this woman. She's been through the worst and hopefully with care she will combat this syndrome. Whatever she chooses to do she knows her fans love and support her. I wish her strength and healing and hope we will see her make a full comeback one day.
There is really nothing wrong with Céline's VOICE itself. It's the muscles that make her voice. She's experiencing spasms on her vocal chords right at this moment. God, can't imagine how uncomfortable and painful for her to force her voice when her vocal chords have stiffen.
Ridiculous ! Billie holidays despite her broken voice sings better than Céline Dion! The problem with Céline aretha Franklin Mariah Carey they shout instead of singing. After 40 they lost their voice. Céline is completely out of tune here !
Apparently, she's experiencing an episode of Stiff Person Syndrome. Her vocal chords are stiffening and she's experiencing muscle spasms of her vocal chords. There is really nothing wrong with her voice itself because she can belt if she wants to but her body won't allow her.

Celine have a very good and healty technique, since 2000 she not pushing much volume as the collegue you said in high notes to preserve voice. and a good lifestyle. Her voice and her chords are well, they muscles no. I have sometimes cervical pain and when I am sick I’m not able to reach properly high notes. Everything is risky for voice.
